The place can be maintained well better during winter and during snowy days. Insufficient parking, bad maintenance inside the bar & grill and worst cafeteria that serves cheap burgers.
Non-skiiers has nothing to do in this place. They could have made the lift to non-skiiers so that they enjoy the hill top , anyways the lift downhill can bring them back.
Not so impressed with the sign boards as well.

Small practice hill. Strong history in developing ski racers and they do a good job of that. They also have a strong ski and snowboard training group and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The snack shack needs updating and expanding as there are never enough seats for everyone to eat.

Forget about the experience - have not got there yet but just trying to find out more specific details on the nice sounding New Year function and and spending the night at the nearby Best Western that offers a shuttle service which sounds great though seems to be a major mission to learn/read details other that the frills ! Just spell it out instead if having to sift through all the silly yup stuff !

Tried out their "plastic snow alternative" and it destroyed my skis after a few runs. Turns out there was a warning about this possibility that I was never made aware of by the group leader as she was not notified of it by the staff.

Tubes are no very attractive. The color is fading due to the weather. Also, wanted to get in to the lift to take Some pictures but is not allowed unless you pay for a skiing fee( about $60 ) why not charge 5 $ for a round and make money?? Also out dated resort, need more speakers in the electric stairs to the tubing side.

We did the tubing hill. I've been wanting to go for a while and it was a little disappointing. I can't speak for the skiing/snowboarding but $18 to tube is ridiculous. You get a 2 hour pass and on a Friday night you wait between 15-20 minutes to go down 1 time. I mean it's fun, but go to a park and tube for free without the wait.

Disappointed this year. Wings were very small like they ca.e from as Cornish hens. Barely any seasonings also. Hamburger again no seasoning a was over cooked from what we asked for. Last ski season was a LOT better. We then thought finally Burnsville and Lakeville and Apple Valley finally had a great burger. Let's see WHAT happens this Friday..

Great terrain parks, great staff , sweet half pipes for snowboarders and great customer service! i love the park and hills and am planing to get a season pass for years and years to come!

Ok. I've skied here since I was little. But, since the ski area switched owners a few years back, my experience has gone downhill (literally). They've ruined the hill by making it more of an attraction for trick skiers and snowboarders. As a ski racer, I despise the jumps, moguls, and expansions of the terrain parks they've added. They keep pushing leisure skiers out. At practice, it's nearly impossible to get from Warner's Way, Olympic Dreams, and Crossroads to the chalet because of the moguls and huge jumps they've added on Milk Run, which is the primary racing run, again cramping the leisure skiers and racers. Now let's review. The folks who don't jump or do tricks get these runs: Warner's Way, 1/3 of Milk Run, 1/2 of Crossroads, The Bunny Hill, and Teacher's Pet. Trick skiers get: 3 terrain parks (including the newly added massive jumps, a mini terrain meant for young trick skiers, and a massive park on the far south side of the hill), a half pipe, and moguls. Thanks to these new owners and recent events concerning terrain. I will finish out my high school alpine racing career, and unless the "balance" for trick and leisure skiers is restored, I will not be returning to Buck Hill after I graduate....

Somewhere that you can get tasty food along with ski in a metro area. Just recently they installed NeverPlast (not sure if I have the spelling correct here) allowing everyone to be out on the hill year round. It is exciting to see the changes happening, pop out and take a look at everything, it has a new look, but but still that great Buck Hill atmosphere.

I've been going to Buck Hill for around 7 years. They have definitely improved their features and trails over the last few years. It is smaller than most places, but a great spot to go snowboarding that is close to the south metro area!

It's where you go to learn how to ski before you go somewhere else and pay double the lift price. Great for beginners or training, not so great for any length of time for intermediate or better skiers.

Nice resort. Great snow, and decent prices. We were able to save some money with an early bird special. Really only one bunny hill though, and as a beginner, it was tough to practice on the one they had.

Very happy with the experience that my family had while we here. Thank you so much for putting in neveplast, we will definitely be back.

Nice job with zombie boardshop running the rail jam.

Came to Buck Hill for the first time back on March 6 as part of Northern Star Council's annual overnight Scout skiing and snowboarding event. Had a great time despite lines to check out equipment being pretty lengthy at first. Wait times at chair lifts, conversely, were always short, but wish that the lift attendants were more engaging with everyone in attendance. Having done all of my previous ski outings at Trollhaugen up in Osceola, the hills here are generally steeper, so you have to really be careful so you know how to handle ice patches, deal with bumps in the terrain, and avoid collisions.

It was fun but it would've been nice if there'd been a variety of hills to use. Only 1 hill for everyone took a lot of the fun out of it. Use Badlands in River Falls Wisconsin for example, with 4 different hills. For different ages or thrill levels.
