I went to Bruce Chevrolet and got a Spark. It was the cheapest brand new car you can get in the metro area. Best price! I saw Trevor and he took me on a test drive. I was actually really surprised at the quality of the car. While I was on the test drive I told him I was on a budget and didn't want to buy any extra stuff. He said yes of course. We went back to the showroom and quickly did the deal. No hassle or pressure. We got out there as quickly as possible when buying a new car. No pressure for any upsell. They respected my stance and sold me the car and let me get out of there. They even filled the tank and gave me a roadside kit. I will definitely buy my next car there. So easy. I think the days of the sleazy car dealership are over. Go to Bruce Chevrolet.

Very poor experience with their service department...

Very poor experience with their service department. I brought in a Chevy with an emissions check engine light. I told them the code and explained what parts from NAPA were previously installed, and that it might need a sensor on the fuel tank replaced. They swapped out all the prior replaced parts (claiming they were not factory GM quality) and told me their scan said the problem was now fixed and it would pass DEQ without a problem. Within a day the same emissions code popped up and I again explained in might be fuel tank sensor. Second time they quoted me $504 to replace fuel tank sensor but refused to refund back any of the previous repairs (I already was previously charged $270). DO NOT take a car here unless you want to get scammed. I guess I though Mr. Goodwrench could accurately diagnose a GM product rather than just start swapping parts....I was wrong

Love this dealership: Came in to look at 2016 Sparks. Engaged with salesperson Matthew who was very easy and pleasant to work with. We felt he was very interested in pleasing us and finding just the right vehicle fit for our needs. He went out of his way to make our deal work and we are so pleased with our new Spark Lt. Pure fun. Also love that this dealership is closed on Sundays allowing their employees family time.

I wish I could give these guys less then one star....

I wish I could give these guys less then one star. We have a Chevy Sonic, The battery died; completely and while it sat for two weeks squirrels chewed 2 wires; clearly obvious on top of the engine a blind person could find the bad wires. We had it towed to Bruce Chevy for repairs. Simple fix replace battery fix 2 wires. Since then they have locked the keys in the car and had to call us to come with the other key to unlock it. Called and told us their diagnostic machine said there was only one cut wire and argued with us about it. We had to drive down to physically show them both the cut wires. They didn't even pop the hood to look! If your "professional" technicians can't replace a battery and find two bad wires how could you trust them to make any actual repairs that require skill? Oh and we're two weeks in and it's still not fixed... I highly recommend you take your Chevy to a different dealership with actual skilled professional technicians if you need any type of repairs.

I've always serviced my car here since buying it. I've never had any issues asides my last encounter. I'd scheduled my appointment on their website like i've always done. About a day (or a few days, not sure) later i got an email from one of their technicians requesting for more details on the work i wanted to get done. I responded to his email.
On the morning of my appointment, the gentleman at the front desk told me he had no records of my appointment and was pretty adamant in turning me back and having me reschedule. When i told him i'd scheduled online, he came up with this incredulous narrative of how their online scheduling system was broken. I showed him my email communication with their technician and argued that he'd reached out in response to receiving my scheduled appointment. The gentleman reluctantly accepted to service my vehicle. This one interaction proved utterly distasteful and has made me reconsider using this vendor for my future car servicing needs. I haven't had to service my vehicle since my last appointment though so let's see how well the sun and moon aligns on that day.

This is absolutely one of the worst dealerships I ...

This is absolutely one of the worst dealerships I have ever worked with. We have recently gone through a bankruptcy and tried to get a car here. We ended up after a full day here walking away with something that we liked. A week later they call us back saying the lender changed their minds and we had to come back in. I understand sometimes that happens but here is the absolute worst part. They told us they found another lender with the same exact deal and all we needed to do was come in and resign. So we were alright with that. We drive up in one car (the new one) only for them to tell us that the deal was off the table and a new payment of $200 more a month on top of what the old payments were was the best they could do. We couldn't do that so they had to take the car back. They left us there with no courtesy ride home no nothing. We had to pay over $100 to get back home for an Uber ride. This place and these people are disgusting. At least do us the courtesy to tell us we may have to turn the car in and so bring a backup vehicle just in case. I will never support Bruce or this business ever again and I will tell my friends to no longer come here for any vehicles. How can you kick someone who is already down. Gross. Thanks guys for adding to this already horrible year. Hope you have a better one than ours.

This is for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I cannot speak towards any other departments. We brought a customer vehicle in for a warranty valve cover gasket repair. They claimed to have replaced the gasket and vehicle was good to go. We got the car back leaking more oil than before, luckily we caught it and took it back in. After we took the vehicle back for them to check their work, we waited a week before we got an answer, we had to call them everyday to get updates, no response from the advisor or service manager until our manager stepped in. They then claimed no fault stating the leak was caused by a stripped out bolt and they don't know how it got stripped out. Wanted to charge us $300 range to get it fixed when there was no communication as to a stripped bolt when we originally took it in for warranty work. Plain and simple all they needed to do was the right thing and take care of their misstep. Not good business practice.

10/10 would recommend Bruce Chevrolet. I called this dealership with questions on buying & registering a car from out of state and they were quick to respond to each question I came up with. Everyone here was helpful **but not down my throat trying to help, which was a relief:)**, kind, and responsive.
After buying the truck, they went above and beyond to help get everything in order to ensure I d have a smooth, positive experience, solidifying that Bruce is a dealership I would trust moving forward.
I so appreciate everyone I worked with including (but not limited to) Danny, Jose, James, and the stellar service department staff for a great buying experience. Thank you Bruce Chevrolet!

This is the final straw, I refuse to return and put my car in their incapable hands. It is mind boggling how the manufacturing company can mess up a simple car maintenance tasks. I have given this company chance after chance. I HIGHLY recommend not taking any vehicle to this service department. The last customer service rep., "Miguel" was of no use to me and my situation. He sat quietly on the phone as I explained the situation their poor service put me in. No feed back, no resolution, no assistance that was actually useful or reasonable. From filling my car with smoke by failing at an oil change to me driving around in the country with a low tire because they didn't do a reset after a tire rotation, it is obvious they have no clue of what they are doing.

After frustration I had with the GMC dealer's parts and service about getting a remote for my 2011 Acadia, I contacted Bruce's parts which was able to give actual costs, instead of a labor estimate with a $100 range. Andre and Howard were great to deal with. Professional, and courteous. I'll be bringing my GMC here.

Sales experience was ok, but after getting home I noticed a water stain on my 2017 f150 headliner. Sure enough after these recent rains, my headliner is soaked and I can't find the leak. The dealer no doubt knew about this, they may have even replaced the headliner. It sat on their lot for a year so I know for a fact they came out one day and found the headliner all messed up. One can only imagine what it looked like after getting rained in and setting on the lot for a year. Buyer be ware. They dropped the price 4000 and I was like, wow that's a good deal. Now I'm making payments on a moldy 2017 f150. Thanks Bruce chevrolet for reminding me why I never like buying from a dealership. Oh and the transmission has what's refered to as the 6 to 3 or 5 to 3 squak, basically it sounds like an air horn going off in the cab when passing in the mountains. By far my worst vehicle purchase ever. Thanks bruce chevrolet.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I had scheduled and appointment for an oil change and trip inspection. I get there early, and I m told to pull up, someone pulls ahead of me which is fine; that gentleman is taken care of and his car is moved to the garage. Another car pulls in beside me and we are both sitting there waiting while employees have stared at us. One tried to get into my vehicle with me in it, then curses and closes the door in my face - no apology, no information about what s going on. All the while everyone in the shop is not laughing which is insulting and makes it even more uncomfortable. It is now 8:40am; 40 minutes past my appointment time. I have left. My family gets a lot of service there, as well as, purchases all of their vehicles through Bruce. We will be taking their business elsewhere.

Just got a Spark EV that was listed on their website. Price wasn't listed, but we got it for a price comparable with other dealerships with no fuss. The dealer (John V) was very nice and walked us through the important features of the car and was able to easily answer most of our questions right of the bat. We were already planning on financing the car through them then switching to our credit union, but they were able to set it all up through the credit union directly for us. We're not in the habit of buying cars very often, but the experience was pretty fast and pleasant all around!

I had the best time ever while shopping for my car. I just love it. Gary Valentine sold me my car and showed me how to use all of the things that it has. I'm super impressed with my vehicles h.u.d. Gary even helped me pair my phone to the car. It took longer than I thought it should and I don't understand why I needed to fill out so much paperwork, but I'm glad that I didn't need to go to the DMV again. Getting my liscence there took forever and I'm really glad that they did that part for me.

I am thrilled with my new car! The price was right and I feel confident that my Chevy Bolt will fit my needs. I met the owner, Bruce, and it is clear to see why he has been in business for so long. I have purchased cars on the internet for twenty years, but never a Chevrolet. I researched a new Colorado and then asked six local dealers for e-bids. One dealership ignored me, two just invited me to come in and talk, one sent me pictures of every truck in their inventory (until I finally blocked them), and only two e-mailed me actual bids. Trevor's was the first I received and, in the end, the lowest. We met briefly to review the options before he placed an order. He kept me informed all the way through assembly and shipping. When the truck arrived, I could only pick it up at night, but Trevor came back to work, demonstrated all the features, set up the Bluetooth apps, and waited patiently while Mary completed all the paperwork. Trevor was extremely respectful of my time and made sure I received the truck I wanted at a fair price. This was an excellent purchasing experience!

My 2011 GMC Acadia Denali had problems with flicke...

My 2011 GMC Acadia Denali had problems with flickering headlights and was not safe to drive at night. I brought my car to Bruce Chevrolet and they made an appointment to check it out. I told them to check the bulbs because another mechanic put O'Riley Xenon bulbs in it recently and I suspected they could be contributing to the issue.

After a couple days I called to check on it and the Service Manager said it was going to be more expensive then the standard diagnostic fee because they needed to spend more time on it. I said OK I would pay for a half hour more. A couple days later I went to check on it and they said I needed new headlight assemblies that were special order from another state and would cost me $3,000 +. I told them no way I would do that and I would just sell the car and buy another one under warranty. They ended up not charging me for the diagnostic.

Meanwhile I bought a new car last week and let my my mechanically inclined neighbor tinker around on the Acadia. We ordered another set of bulbs - Wagner brand from RockAuto and of course the Acadia lights work just fine now.

I was disappointed that a service center with supposedly the latest technology and best trained technicians could not diagnose a simple problem like bad bulbs. They were friendly and did not charge for the incorrect diagnosis but I bought a new car based on the incorrect information they provided.

Aside from their bad diagnosis they did not offer me a courtesy vehicle as many others dealerships I have given business to have done. It would have been a nice touch but they denied me one when I asked about it. At Kuni I don't even have to request it but at Bruce they looked at me funny when I brought it up.

Sucks to get bad advice but at least I am stuck with a new car and 5+ years warranty at another dealership.

Update: I was just detailing my car today shortly after getting it back from Bruce Chevy and realized my roof crossbars were STOLEN right off my car. It happed during the time my car was there. I called them and reported the incident but said they no longer have their video footage after a week or week and a half which was when my car was there.

Scheduled an oil and filter change for last Saturday and was able to drop my Chevy Cruze off and pickup after hours with the sales staff. They held onto my key for me and all I had to do was process payment over the phone because I couldn t quite make it back before they closed. Very easy experience and really kind service staff! The best dealership experience I have ever had was buying my truck here from at Bruce Chevrolet from Travis Stafford. Everyone knows that buying a new car is a daunting situation but the entire team at Bruce Chevrolet made it seamless. Travis was incredibly down to earth and very transparent through the process. You can sense that he completely understands that great customer service goes a long way towards making you incredibly happy with your purchase. I will purchase here again.

Also to my surprise, sitting in the finance office signing the final papers was very relaxing (no joke). Juan in finance had us in and out in minutes. Yup. Minutes. There wasn't any song and dance in any part of the purchase experience; just an honestly refreshing easy purchase at an amazing price.

Got to give a big thanks to James! Unfortunately I had to trade my sports car to a bigger car and the experience was not as stressful as thought. James showed me options without being pushy. Didn't have to wait hours upon hours to make the transaction and showed respect to the customers.

Great story. Many details.
A couple of months ago I brough my car in with a check engine light on. It was my exhaust manifold and they replaced it under my extended warranty (one star). At the same time, I had an alarm going for my tire pressure sensors. One was broken. Rather than replace it, I asked them to turn off the alarm. Instead, they turned off the three remaining WORKING sensors. The alarm is still going. I should have heeded this warning from the dealership gods.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. My CEL comes back on. "How weird" I think, and bring it back in to Bruce Chevrolet. They check the code, it's the same as before. I asked if it would be the manifold again. Mr. Manager informs me that it's my catalytic converter, which he knows because they wrote in their notes during my initial repair that there was an issue with it. I asked why I was not informed of this at the time, "I don't know" from the same person I had been working with before. I asked how much the repair would be and was quoted $1900. (This is all happening on my graduation day... kinda killed the celebratory mood). I was annoyed. I carefully voiced my frustration. I was recommended to go to an exhaust shop who could sell me an after market part for cheaper.

I went down the street to an exhaust shop (which is where I met my new best friend) where they threw the old girl on a rack, checked under her skirt, and found that the flex pipe AHEAD of the cat had gone bad. Way bad. Visibly bad. Soup-can-opened-by-a-trex-bad. I know this because my partner-in-maintenance took me out to my car and showed me the leak. My new best friend then ordered the (new) replacement part for me, and fixed the not-catalytic-converter for less than $300.

After reading some of these reviews I'm starting to think women who take their cars into this dealership are getting royally effered-over. I take a reasonable-but-not-excessive amount of offense to that (-3 stars).

My new bff deserves a bloody mary for his candor and honesty.

If Bruce had been forthcoming, I would invite them for bloody marys too, but instead I'm writing this review.

If, down the line, my cat DOES need to be replaced, I will not take it in to Bruce, and I will not take them out for bloody marys after. I will not recommend them to my friends. I would not even recommend them to my enemies.

My husband & I were on a search to replace his pickup. The cab style he was looking for is very hard to find. Bob was fantastic in assisting him with finding one as close to his specs as he could. He was patient and excellent in pointing out other details that he could be happy with even if it did not have the exact cab he was looking for. The financing was quick and easy. No sitting for hours as they pounded out the details. I would definitely come back here to purchase again!! Thank you Bob and Bruce Chevrolet for making this as pleasant as you did!!

Day 1: We dropped the car off and told the service center that we would not be back during service hours. They said they would drop the keys with sales folks. We didn't make it back that day. Day 2: The sales folks gave the keys back to the service folks. We didn't get to the dealership (~45 min round trip) until the service folks left, but the service folks failed to give the keys back to the sales folks on day 2. We were told by the sales folks that they didn't have the keys and were not authorized to get them from the service area. Day 3: Dealership closed Day 4: When we inquired about them bringing the car to us, they declined. We got to the dealership (45 minute round trip) and got keys. Not a great experience for relatively minor oil change, tire rotation, and warranty fix. The car was not washed when we got it.

I just bought a car today from here and the staff is amazing!!! Troy and Mary really knocked it out of the park. No pushiness or the usual gimmicks. Both truly had their hearts in it to help me get the car that I wanted and without extra things I don t need. The whole experience was amazing!! We laughed, we cried happy tears, and I walked out confident in my purchase. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a vehicle. And I got a cool key fob!! Than you again, and I look forward to coming back!

We went to Bruce Chevrolet after we saw an SUV that we wanted to buy. When we got there they changed the price on the SUV and tried to find something wrong with our car we wanted to trade in. Our car has a clean title and nothing wrong with it. We also told them that we want to finance through our bank, they started being really pushy. It was a big waste of our time. They were really rude to us. It was one of the worst experiences and customer service is horrible. Don't waste your time or your money. This was our second time going there and each time the experience was horrible.
Just a response to the dealership comment. We did not insist on anything, you told us one price at first and then changed it after we showed you a price listed on your website. We drove 1.5 hours one way. Plus you were giving us way below the Kelly blue book price for our car, and your customer service was horrible. You treated us really really bad. There is no excuse to talk to your customers the way you talked to us.

Horrible service! This is the first review I ve ever written and it s because I was treated with horrible customer service. I took my Chevrolet Malibu a week and half ago to get a diagnostic for what was going on with my car stereo and they said at first it was the radio amplifier. They were going to charge me $400 for it and I agreed if they were going to fix my stereo. But a week later they said they weren t able to fix the problem and that I needed to pay $1400 to now fix it. Their excuse was that their diagnosis could only diagnose one thing after another one is fixed and I would have to pay the first problem even if it didn t fix the car. So it benefits them because they ll charge you for one problem and they won t tell you there s another one until after they charge you for that first one. I ended going to them physically and asked to speak to the manager because I was only willing to pay for the diagnosis and he was worse than I expected. STEPHEN BECKER the manager of the service center threatened my mother and I with keeping the car and doing a lien on it if we didn t pay for the service that THEY said would fix the problem, but didn t. Purchased 2016 Equinox. The first car we drove didn't have enough options but we were concerned about costs. Then Trevor showed us the 2016 Equinox and suggested I take it for a drive. I knew right away this is what we were looking for but the cost was higher than we were prepared for. Trevor just sat us down as we worked through the paper work and we came up with a price we could afford and the dealership was happy with. This experience was the best we have ever gone through when buying a car, no haggling at price or options. Plus I must say Al was the cherry on top, he was very professional and kind so I didn't worry that he was trying to slip us a fast one! The only thing I regret is that we didn't buy our previous cars from Bruce Chevrolet!
