Great place where to taste several local, home-brewed beers. I don't know which beer to recommend to be honest, because all of them are incredibly supreme. Personally, my favourite is the copper-gold Columbus, the heavyweight with a full and complex flavour.

In fact, we must keep this place a secret. In the meantime, more and more tourists are coming, but pull enough work into the fun kind. Great service and probably also the best ox sausage in Amsterdam. Furthermore, we say nothing else, it gets too busy
It is essential to visit it if you travel to Amsterdam, apart from nice, it has a brewery with several kinds of beer and sausages to accompany. To return without hesitation.
A very nice brewery that can be recognized from afar by its windmill. The beers are delicious and have very different tastes. I also like the brewery's marketing. The Tasting Set is highly recommended.
we love Brouwerij t IJ!! great 'bier', inside and on the terrace is absolutely cosy and great snacks with their beers! we highly recommend this place!!
Probably one of the greatest spot in all Amsterdam for craftbeer. The place was jampacked when we were there on a Friday afternoon. All kind of clients and of all ages. The place is located under the only remaining windmill in downtown Amsterdam. The beer is more than great. We would have liked table service, but that is'nt possible, even if you're seated at the bar. There is a small food service window inside. The food is pub food (cheese, some kind of saussages) but still really good.
The opening hours hit the pig like tongs anyway. Finally another nice Sunday they don't open until 2 PM. The Amsterdam Arrogance is also very present among the staff. Quite a shame because it sounds quite nice on the terrace or in the supermarket. But it certainly does not work in favor of the brand.
Excellent beers. Located under the largest windmill in Amsterdam. A bit out of the way so most tourists don't make it but well worth the trip! Not much to see on the tour and the guide wasn't too experienced but the reason you go is to get this excellent beer. You get one free beer with the price of the tour.
If your in Amsterdam this place is a must visit, great selection of decent enough beers. Get the paddle where you can try a few of them. Plenty of outside seating too if the suns out
Sometimes crowded but still nice to stand outside when the weather is good. It's only crowded because that's how good it is. They manage the crowd well.
Very cool brewery in a historic windmill at the edge of the Centrum. Great beers to try here, and lots of seating inside and outside. Brewery tours also available.
Nice place to go. The beer is of medium quality. There is not much to eat. It is worth going as to take something. They do tours a few days because they manufacture there in the place, some schedules in English and others in Dutch. Unfortunately there were no spaces when I went as the place is small so I could not do the tour!
Great beer, very cozy! Staff is very busy, you can wait a long time for a beer. Sometimes people even refuse to make the test shelf. "Just takes me too much time to fill 6 small glasses". Would love to come back, but hiring more people certainly won't hurt!
The brewery of the mill for travelers with exhausted legs. To drink a Zatte with Dutch of all styles, this is the place that goes well. Less typical than brown cafes, but a good address by the river.
Great place to have a good beer. It has a good variety of beers and the place is beautiful. It has tourists but most of all are locals. You can have snacks there, cheese, sausage and peanuts. Their homemade beers are very good.
A beautiful and very original site. It has a great variety of craft beers and you can make tastings with small glasses to try more beers. The prices of beers are around 3 and you can order tapas with a very good look (they are paid separately).
Wide variety of beers in a typical local Netherlands, with a bar dedicated exclusively to selling snacks to accompany them. The cheese in this bar is very good, in line with what the country offers, we also ordered fuet, also very rich. There is a sample table of five different types of beer, it is advisable to order it.
My favorite place to go to with family and friends! The staff is very friendly and down to earth. When it is crowded (and yes this is a tourist hot spot) the staff still takes their time for you and makes sure the atmosphere stays friendly and comforting.
When you're here, I highly recommend the following: Zatte, this is the original beer of this brewery and still is an amazing tripel. The snacks and in particular the grilled sausage and ox sausage.
For regular visitors the beer menu (besides the standard beers) keeps changing almost monthly, be sure to try their seasonal beers.
