I only went to the tasting room and then it is a great beer cafe. Enough to taste. Unfortunately no tour done. It is also often very busy. Enough options for snacks and to buy a beer or glass for home.

At the foot of an old mill, the place is great for drinking an excellent beer from the famous Brouwerij 't IJ. The decor is great (old industrial brasserie atmosphere), and the beer excellent. Possibility on site to taste cheese / sausage boards etc ... at the right franquette! Although crowded, if you are looking for an unusual experience beyond the reach of ambient tourism, this is the address for you!
Full immersion in this brewery at the very good atmosphere! A little out of the way in a very nice neighborhood of Amsterdam (to visit), the break in this old mill where the beer is brewed and where the Amsterdamois come spend a friendly moment is a very good memory.
Enjoy beers and local gouda with sausisson amongst the locals. Bar tenders can be a bit rude and are not bother about services. Yet still a good spot to start the night
A beautiful location, with absolutely amazing beer. A must visit in Amsterdam for any beer lover, or anyone who wants to hang out in a bar in a windmill!
Place has a nice atmosphere. The interior is simple, but stylish. The little beer tasters are good size and quality and the cheese/sausage selection fitting the occasion. Good place to go for a chat/snack/drink. And it s a bit away from the masses of tourist in the red light area. Nice neighbourhood
Great little brewery next to a windmill. We stopped in for a drink after it opened for the day. We heard it gets very crowded at night. Definitely seems to be a popular local beer.
Great local brewery to go visit. They sling out large amounts of beer that need to be ordered at the bar. If you want to try a selection of their beers you can get a taster tray. They also sell a small selection of food ranging from sausage to cheese, good for a quick snack.
Essential in Amsterdam to have some beers quietly, and in a lively and pleasant atmosphere. They have different rods and beers, as well as tapas. Good terrace with tables. It is usually crowded. Recommended tasting of five beers.
Good beer, but very popular place and it's full of loudmouth tourists because there's a windmill nearby. So if you're after a quiet drink head somewhere else especially as IJbier is now available in any pub in Amsterdam. But if you want the Brouwerij 't IJ experience (and you're a tourist and want to see a windmill while you down beer) then this is a safe bet.
Skip Heineken and go to Brouwerij't IJ! As a non-beer drinker, their "Flink" was still super delicious and enjoyable. Anywhere that serves charcuterie and aweseome Dutch cheese is definitely not to be missed!
Local brewery, making natte, zatte, a host of other lesser known beers that are good. Starting to produce American style ipas, other offerings. Great nuts. Good cheese and sausage plates. Outdoor seating with waitstaff.
We had a great experience at this place. Good beers, nice setting, well worth the visit. The windmill behind makes us really feel like we are in Holland. Very good!!
Delicious Belgian craft beer, made in Amsterdam! With a windmill in front of the door, you can not get it more Dutch than this. Ps: the cheese with salt and fennel is delicious, in combination with a good beer
The beer was of course the best IPA and Bitterblond were good too. As for the knob, a combo set of cheese and sausage matches beer. The payment system is simple and there is no problem even for the first time. You can make friends with people from various countries in a casual atmosphere.
One of the most famous brewery in Amsterdam. Of course the beer is excellent but beyond that the atmosphere is friendly and warm. So as we are good, we take a beer ... and so on .... Public transport is fortunately not very far ...
Good cheese and good beer. Many Spaniards like us. I don't like beer, but I sure did enjoy the cheese. I found it was a bit expensive though. My partner tried the IPA and the Ijbock. Very nice place, I hope we'll be back someday.
Cool spot to hangout and drink beer / eat cheese plates! Arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was packed with people of all ages. Went straight to the bar and got a very quick service. Would highly recommend, felt like a local and blonde beer was delicious!
Great brewery with large tables for big groups. Well-priced beer and snacks (grilled or dried sausage, cheese). A large patio perfect for when it is not raining.
If you're looking for what looks like an iconic experience in Amsterdam (a windmill and a beer), you'll want to visit this brewery. They have delicious beer options and it is super cozy, located on a canal.
It has what matters ... good beer .. the way the service was different .. food I a snack bar in another .. but it was all happiness in the end ... I will be back
Great local brewery in Amsterdam. Located in the base of an old windmill and specialize in Belgian style beers! Snacks are fantastic- the raw Oxtail sausage is fantastic. (I was a little leery of raw sausage at first, but definitely worth trying), the cooked suasages and cheese plates are great as well. Recommend getting there when they open as there is limited space and it gets crowded quickly.
A very good beer, this pub is very crowded every time, I took a small pilsener and costed only 2,20 euros. Very bitter and tasty in pilsener style. Unfortunately they ran out of red, I will come back!
Historic mill brewery in Amsterdam, a little out of the way from the center but cozy and beautiful to see. Fortunately, you can see from miles away thanks to the large windmill that guarantees an excellent point of reference. Inside the restaurant is very nice and rustic, ideal for enjoying the many varieties of beers, one better than the other. The prices are great, clean bathrooms and very polite staff. The hours are from 2.00pm to 8.00pm so you have to get organized. If you want a good beer go here is the best choice. Highly recommended
