Really good beer. Of course, czech beer is a best (I am from Czechia) but beer in this brevery is really good.

Mill where they make beer and have it at a very good price. They serve up to 6 types of your brand. There is a terrace outside with awnings. Very nice

Cool place to hang out. The old mill is pretty impressive. Although nobody seemed to new where the ostrich comes from on the logo oh and there beers are tasty

We were looking for a brewery next to a windmill and bingo! We found it!! We tried a selection of craft beers, blonde and dark, combined with cheese and hard boiled eggs. Most unique experience!!

In one trip to Amsterdam I visited this brewery 3 times! The views, the beer, the atmosphere, are not to be missed. It s in the Eastern part of the city which I find to be the best. It s away from the crowds and a little less touristy. However, you are sure to run into a few Americans here. Hey, we love our craft brew!Try one of the seasonal beers and get a staple for the 2nd round. Don t forget about the amazing local snacks!

Omg the rendang frites will blow you away. Hands down the best frites I've ever had and really craving them but I'm back in the states.

Epic beers and you get to drink them under a windmill. Staff are the nicest.

This is in my neighbourhood so the easy access and good times with the regulars makes me biased. As good a beer as you will get in Amsterdam, poured with care and friendly attitude. It's a good place to meet up for a couple of hours.

A must visit for tourists, a great place to meet friends...

A great local brewery directly below a large windmill and next to a canal. It s a bit outside the main center but this definitely adds to the ambiance. They have a large outdoor seating area that you can chill at. I would recommend getting a flight or sample tray of theirs so you can try a bunch. (5 beers come in their flight)

Very, very nice beer - my friends and I had the IJ'wit under the sun. It was by far the best beer of this summer. Don't go there hungry, cuz they don't serve any real food (e.g. sandwiches, nachos) but all the snacks (e.g. cold/warm sausages and cheese) here are also amazing!!

Good beer, nice bar, cool aesthetic. Not the cheapest, but that's not what you go there for.

Lovely place to grab a beer and chill underneath the windmill. Will definitely drop by on the next trip, thanks to the variety of craft beers available on the tap. If you do not know what to drink, just ask the service crew and they will be more than happy to suggest something to your liking

The beer tasting was the best company of your typical cheese.

Excellent and wide range of beer, good cheese and sausage, all presented in a uniquely Dutch setting. This should definitely be on your itinerary. Gets busy and you can wait to be served at the bar but definitely worth it.

I have been enjoying their beers for a few years now and I am always looking up for their latest inspirations.I decided to fly 3000km to the tour at the brewery, but because they don't make reservations,I was denied entrance to the brewery by a very rude bar tender.I decided to take the beer tasting instead, but the bar was run out of tasting glasses.I waited patiently and at some point I got served...5 very dirty beers.
The overall experience was horrific and it is not recommended, although I believe it might be a nice place to enjoy a beer when they don't have tours going.

What a feast to be allowed to drink a beer here with a plate of cheese and sausage. It only suffocates with hipsters and tourists nowadays.

If you don't get the boat (beer tasting) and the cheese platter you're really missing out.

A little bit hyped, but overall a very nice place to have a nice beer brewed in Amsterdam. It is often very crowded here, so it is difficult to find a spot on the terrace in case of nice weather circumstances.

Best brewery in town. It's located in a wind mill! You can arrive even by boat. They also offer cheese, sausages or peanuts to go with the beer. The beer is excellent.
It gets very full when there is good weather
