Good beer and good ambience, but the bar attendant got 10 Euros off my change in the biggest dick face, quite annoying the dishonesty of it.
The attendants of the box of snacks tb are very rude ...

So it's just an OK place. There are several better ones.

Very good beers It is NOT a bar, it is a distillery so close early as stipulated by your license.

Beer bar, very good. You have to visit it. You arrive easily by public transport. Quiet atmosphere. Recommended for those who like to get away from the big noise of the tourist center. We really enjoyed the place !!!!

The brouwery under a windmill is, for me, a must see (and a must taste) in Amsterdam. They have all their beers on tap for a good price. On some days, the brouwery offers a guided visit that is very informative and fun but also short.
The windmill is a unique place for a pub but it can become very crowded on some days.

Great. Order the real ales from the house. Taste it calmly and order the cheese. It's worth it!

One of the first places I head to for a beer when I go to Amsterdam. Has gotten much busier /popular with tourists in the last 3-4 years so get there early if you want a seat. No nonsense, efficient service once you get to the bar. Beer from a windmill, what more could you want? !!

Essential visit if you go to Amsterdam, maybe it is a bit far from the center, but I promise it is worth it. Very good craft beers, if you want to try them all, they have a tasting pack, to try the first 5 on the menu, they also have a kitchen in case you get hungry. Say that cheese goes very well with beer. They have a fairly large terrace with shared tables, the bad thing is that the hours are very short they only open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The ij wit is on point! Just be careful because they alcohol percentage is relatively high.

So you think you know what beer is? The beverage that Benjamin Franklin touted as, proof that God loves us. You might think you know beer, but you ll never get it 100% until you go to Brouwerij t IJ. Get there early before the meat and cheese selection runs out! Everything is on an artisan level. Don t be afraid to mingle at the bar either. Everyone is quite friendly and the staff are great!

Great place!! The food is good & more importantly the beer is great! The interior is modern and we'll done. The exterior is neat with the quaint old fashioned windmill. The place has a good view and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Will be visiting here again in the future!

The beers all taste very good. In the sun you sit in front of the old mill.

Obviously delicious beer available here and it is nice to be able to drink it at the original (beautiful) location. However, Ij beer you can get in any respectable pub these days and if you want to have a nice evening of special beers, I always find brewery 't IJ very busy.

Excellent, in addition to the beautiful environment, since the establishment is inside a mill. Beer is great. It also sells in other establishments and supermarkets, it is worth tasting the local aperitif.
