Went to attached museum botanical garden was rained out!!!!

Nice all year round, spectacular during cherry blossom season (better than DC, IMHO)

A magical Brooklyn wonderland if you can be here when it's not crowded. Lots of nooks and crannies to get lost and enjoy the outdoors and forget that you're wedged in next to Flatbush Avenue.

The Garden is BEAUTIFUL! You must check out the Observatory with the Guava tree.

Amazing botanical garden in the middle of Brooklyn. If I lived near here I would definitely have a membership just to walk around and breathe in the beauty and peace of the well maintained gardens.

Good botanical garden, I liked the bonsai collection the best.

Absolutely love this place. Its a must visit in case we have people visiting our place.

This is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. The plants are beautiful, the staff is friendly. And there is always something blooming throughout the season.

It may get overcrowded, try going visiting it on a weekday

Unfortunately when i went, the japanese garde nwas closed which is a big part of the bbg

We did my engagement shoot there and it was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful landscapes, informative, and educational.

The magnolias, the sakuras, the bonsais, the mysterious and the familiar, the enchanting scents, the vibrant colors, the children running and the couples handing their hands. An escape from Manhattan's bustle and bustle. A must-see.

i have been a bbg member for many years. it is indeed a lovely place!...
that said, in addition to the gardens, classes, greenhouses, etc, their team and staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful if you need any information about any plant care.
bbg is a true Brooklyn treasure! (smile)

Lovely place to leisurely stroll and enjoy the day, have a picnic or lay down on the grass for a nap.

Wonderful to spend the day outside here. Romantic. A lovely and beautiful botanical garden. It's best to go on the sunny days and cool days because even if there is a lot of people.

I loved this place, a lot of different types of plants and flowers. The nature air itself smells and feels like I'm in a nature word . Thousands of plants like a desert, rain forest, and etc

At the wake of spring , I visited this yesterday. The Japanese garden is closed as of now. It's under maintenance. The cherry blossoms are yet to adorn cherry esplanade. So keep waiting. Follow the live updates on the website. Rest , if you are a Flora fan like me, put on your walking shoes And visit the place.
Fridays it's free till 12 noon. Rest of the days and Friday after this , it's $15 per adult. If you are an orchid or a bonsai lover, there's huge number of displays for you inside

Peaceful, quiet place. Especially beautiful in late April when sakuras, tulips and other tones of flowers blooming! Bonsai garden is gorgeous.

Enjoy nature in the heart of Brooklyn. Love visiting, and especially enjoy some of the indoor exotic plants they have. The gardens also have tons of really fun special events so be sure to check out their site.

It's bigger than I thought. There are many sections like the Japanese garden, the spring garden, rose garden, and scent garden.

Great place to walk around, kid friendly, lots of events, and of course beautiful scenery for those who need an escape from the concert and steel of New York City.

Great selection of plants - the herb area was a highlight.

Nothing to see or do in off-season time, been there on 31/10/18. Half of the garden was closed. $30 for 2 people was a waste of money.

Beautiful I went during the summer time to see the Roses bloom.

Although smaller than the NY Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, the BBG is a gem that should not be missed, especially if you get a chance to see it during cherry blossom season.

This is such a beautiful place and there is soooo much to see in the 52 acres. Even in the winter it's still so interesting and beautiful but I can't wait to go back in the spring and summer when everything is in bloom!

Very nice Botanic Garden. A lovely place to walk through and a lot of different plants to see. Too bad some of the paths were closed, but that doesn't really matter. Not all plants were in a good shape. Some of them looked dry and weren't fully grown even though they should have been.

Beautiful flowering trees. Need to put up signs at the entrance differentiating online ticket holders from ticket buyers.

It has very nice species of plants and the place is very nice. It opens at 8 in the morning and they charge $ 15 per person.

The gardens were in full bloom with all the tulips and daffodils! I look forward to my next visit!

A MUST SEE when you're visiting, or live around the area. This is one of Brooklyn's best kept secrets, as its right next to Prospect park and the Brooklyn Museum but is forever quiet and a breath of fresh air.

Pro tip: if you live in the area get a membership! They're cheap and it'll be a little oasis to spend 15 minutes when you need to get away from the bustling city!

Great place to spend a day with family and friends. However the $15 entry fee seems a little unjustified, as it feels more a park than a botanic garden. However I will need to return in the summer to see the garden in all of its beauty.

Oh gosh the cherry blossoms! Waited patiently for weeks for the rain and clouds to part so I could finally walk under the most beautiful canopy of pink petals. Truly a most beautiful spectacle of nature at it's finest. And one must visit the Japanese garden! So scenic and peaceful. All just a train ride away in Brooklyn.

Beautifull place. Every friday morning the admission ia free I highly recomend to know.

Amazing place to visit and you won't spend a whole day unless you really are into the plants world.
So if you are around Brooklyn give yourself two hours and visit this amazing garden.

I came here because it was included in the New York Pass and I won't regret it.

I've never been disappointed with a visit to the BBG! Small enough to tour the whole thing in one afternoon without exhausting yourself, but overflowing with marvels of nature. Even when you miss the blooming season of one flower, there is always something else going on (although do check their excellent website for dates of your favorites, or daily updates in the case of the cherry blossoms during spring).

Love it there but went for plant sale, a zoo, got out of there quick, guess I will go to chelsea garden center, red hook, great stuff. 430pm sale for members, what's that all about ?

It's a good place to hang out, to have family and friends quality time. Also, the staff helped my boyfriend to solve his membership issues quickly. I love this place!

Definitely a Brooklyn Staple and a place that everyone should visit. It is beautiful and nice place to visit.

This is a great place to take folks from out of town - or to meet up with friends in town! They've got a really cool living bonsai tree museum. Highly recommend checking out the greenhouses with the orchids while you're there; the cafe is nice too. It's wonderful to walk on the paths even on a hot day since there's a good amount of shade.

It's free on Fridays in the winter which is a good deal, but that's because most or all of the trees and plants are dead and there's nothing to see here then. It's a nice outdoor space though.
