Went during the cherry blossom festival and given the space constraints the grounds are set up beautifully. It is a small area but everything is well kept and there is a good range of flowers. Would highly recommend going during the cherry blossom festival.

I have been visiting this park for over 20+ years now. It's great to visit with your partner or family and friends. Spring time is one of the best seasons to visit due to the smell of fresh flowers in the air as they bloom. Let's not forget the cherry blossom tree and the awesome smells of magnolia tree also. It's also a good time to visit in the month of May for the rose garden is open and they have so many kinds of Roses to showcase to the public. Oh yeah and the smell of fresh Herbs Garden is another visit area. I highly recommend to walk different areas of this Botanical Garden because it has so much to offer. They offer many events so check their events calendar from time to time.

The Japanese pond is almost always a must stop attraction. You see the many fish and turtles that seem to know that someone will feed them some bread. Also make a stop at the main building so you can see the many exhibits like bonsai trees, lilies pond, orchids, rain forest tropical plants, deserts plants and a few others as well. All this under one roof top, that's partially glass roof and walls.

Entrance fee can be pricey if you're visiting for a day only. I would recommend to join the membership perk. Go online for more information. It gets you in the park for one year as many times as you want to come as a member. For special events, you don't need to wait on those long lines as well, you just walk up to the gate and show them your a member card holder with an ID that matches the name and they let you walk right in. Downside to your visit. They have a parking lot for members that's limited on visits and on special events, it does fills up really fast and you then need to find your own. Parking is very difficult around this neighborhood/area.

This is a beautiful garden, and a recreational and educational place. It is fun to be there all year round. It is certainly a safe place for families and children. Myself and family go there a few times a year and almost always during the cherry blossom season where the garden looks its best. We enjoy very much the annual Japanese Sakura Matsuri celebration which takes place during the cherry blossom season.

We love the very scenic Japanese pond and Hill, the cherry tree rows, Shakespeare Garden and the Water Garden. The Garden is easy to get to by public and private transportation. The Garden also rent its space for weddings and private events and celebrations during off hours. I have attended a wedding at the garden and it was really beautiful and romantic to have it there.

Many diverse plants and trees from around the world. Especially struck by a gallery under the glass with trees and plants of the hot equator and cacti. You can sit on the benches and rest to breathe clean air. There is a small cafe in the open air where you can have a snack. There is a reorgan for celebrations. Pleases a pond with goldfish and water plants. The gallery of flowers is very beautiful and diverse. Come do not regret it. Rest, full relaxation and peace of mind and body.

This place is amazing regardless of what season it is. The trees and plants are amazing along with the exhibits that display them. Great place to clear your mind along with taking family, friends and dates.

I find it just too bad that the park is open while the trees have not bloomed yet. Otherwise the greenhouses are beautiful and I imagine that this is the place where you have to be at the arrival of spring :)

We have been to this garden before in Spring, when it really sparkled- but loved it just as much this morning, when the trees starred -and the Japanese Garden was particularly lovely. The garden is a great example of letting go imperfection, even though it s very well kept in my opinion. It was grand to be there after several days of intense urban sightseeing. We enjoyed a tasty lunch in the cafe, with excellent service.

This place is like a magical fantasy land in the middle of Brooklyn. Who knew? Acres and acres of beautiful gardens, fields, forest. Would be a lovely place to get married, if you can afford it.

This is an awesome garden to stroll around in and take a break from the busy city. They take great care of the plants and walking trails. The events are worthwhile, especially the Japanese Cherry Blossoms (Sakura Matsura) festival. The trees are beautiful, and the events are fun and light hearted.
