Really nice. I loved the cherry blossoms and some flowers are starting to blossom, too. I would reccomend visiting this place in May and on as opposed to April. I feel like I went a bit too early for the spring season.

Made a visit mid April and roughly 90% of the outdoor flowers/trees were not in bloom. My mistake for not knowing this but I would have appreciated a heads up for from the staff when paying the $15x2 entrance fee. Indoor stuff was good though. Would recommend calling ahead during early spring time to ensure best bang for buck.

Brooklyn Botanical is a very nice place for the entire family. This establishment have plenty of site seeing and hands on activities to do. The only down fall is: the food is expensive and you can't bring in outside food.

One of the most beautiful locations in New York City notable for its Japanese Tea Garden and Cherry Blossom Festival. Not as large as the New York Botanical Gardens in The Bronx but special and peaceful nonetheless. A veritable oasis in Brooklyn of peace and culture.

Beautiful way to spend a day outdoors. I have a membership and it's completely different even coming a week apart. Great place to take visitors and family. There's areas to picnic inside. The indoors area lets you explore various biomes and bonsai trees. Allow plenty of time to explore, it's bigger than you think! Near cherry blossom season you can check the site to see the bloom status. Also, check their site to see when the free entrance morning day is.

I am really not satisfied with my experience in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.. because i went there and i found that most of the beautiful places and views are closed for maintenance. And i ended up seeing absolutely the same thing over and over again because that was the only available thing. I understand that they should repair the place every while, but at least they should reduce the price ticket if they are reducing the available spaces to see. It was so crowded and we barely were able to find something worthy.

In the Spring, the magnolias, cherry blossoms, and peonies are lovely. In the Summer, the roses are definitely a highlight. In the a Fall, the Japanese maples and bonsai collection are bright colors. In the winter, the greenhouses are the best getaway and still warm with plenty of citrus fruits fully grown. Year-round there's something to see, so I've found a membership is worth it if you come more than a few times.

The garden is beautiful - an oasis in the city. The flowers are incredible, the new VIsitor's Center is the cat's pajamas (full disclaimer, my wife works there and had a hand in it), and the horticulture staff there just do an amazing job. My one knock -- we need a little more polite rebukes for people who don't know that you can't sit on the grass.

A beautiful place to spend the day! They have areas especially created for kids and a huge beautiful variety of plants and trees for everyone to enjoy! The new cafe is on the expensive side though with a children's hot dog meal costing 15 bucks.
