I just found out that they now a daycare charge. As a single parent, this is upsetting. I have never been asked to pay a daycare fee with a gym membership. The family plan is too high and members with small children who can't use the equipment should not be charged.

Rally good place to workout with lots of activities for children to do. Their summer swim team and spring conditioning are the best with some of the best coaches in Mobile. Definitely a place for family to get healthy. They offer lifeguard and WSI certifications both done through the Red Cross. Their group exercise classes are the best!
My car was broken into while my daughter was at evening swimming classes. We were parked right next to the building under a lighted area. Lost my passenger window and belongings. YMCA should notify members of each occurrence. Park at your own risk!
We had a great time with swimming lessons for our (then) three-year-old!! She loved Miss Jennifer. We will be coming again next year to get our swim on!!!
I love everyone who works at the childcare center!!! I m definitely at ease whenever I work out there. The machines can definitely use some updating, but I do love working out there! They have a great selection of classes as well.
The staff was great, really helpful with all my needs.

Great place except their day and month rates are high for a YMCA.
I picked here because my kids could play in the nursery while I worked out. After five mins they come to get me to complain about my kids. They say my kids running around, playing with toys. They want my kids to sit in a chair in front of a TV. I only gone here four times and every time they had to say something bad about my kids. They hating on my kids because they being kids. My daughter is autistic and I told them how to talk to her. They were discriminating against my child! They would complain about my son for wanting to play with toys. These people don t want to do their jobs. They want our kids to sit in front of the tv while they play on their phones. I am paying 75 dollars a month for them to hate on my kids! I am so not happy with how they treated my kids and me. Don t take your family to this place.
People are always very nice and friendly. Everything is always clean.
There are 6 TV s by the cardio equipment. The AFC championship game is on CBS. The gym closes in 90 minutes. According to the person supervising the weight room, they cannot change the channel by people s request. Now I have to watch Fox News instead

This location probably have the worst customer service, unfriendly front desk, email the manager the situation but never get a reply almost 2 weeks. The facility is old, needs to be updated. We decided not to go there anymore. We can deal with the facility but their service. We love the day care staff!
Always loved it there. Plenty variety of exercise classes to take.
They put our daughter in a pin alone and left her crying for an hour watching other kids play around her. They did not come get us and had been told the last time they did this we ate not okay with it, to get us instead and we will take her. Their excuse is every time they werent watching her she was climbing. So they admitted to being unable to adequately watch my child.
Then another time both our children left with bruises. On their faces.
Very poor customer service. Everything involving memberships is so unorganized and neglected. The new machine equipment is difficult to use. The hours are horrible. Definitely have not felt at home there. I am choosing to go somewhere else.
Very poor customer service at this location. I went in to re-join and they charged me $50 that day plus prorated for 11 days charge and then turned around 4 days later and charge me $45 for next month. Without explaining that to me.
I tried numerous times to call and cancel due to health issues and was told only one lady handled it and I would have to email her. I was told they couldn't give out her email address by one man but some lady finally did. She never responded back via email so 4 days later after I call again and leave her a voicemail another employee sends a rude email about the cancellation and still charged me for the whole month of September. I tried to cancel 10 days before the date of my auto draft and due to their unprofessionalism I was unable to.
I will never recommend this place. Hardest ever to cancel.
I do not ever and wouldn t ever recommend any of these location or facilities for your children. Carmen Lee and Ashley is very unprofessional and bias. Carmen Lee through a pen at my youngest son because he was crying years back when I addressed her about she lied about it. Stay clear of this facility. She is one of the directors at Saraland short fat and stocky. Jealous is her second nature she does not need to work near kids at all. This is family Ran center and not for black children. I do not prefer sending your kids, to the after care not the ymca program.
This place is a joke ,parents do not let ur children play any sports there it's all about money they charge u $95 for a 4 or 5 game season with nothing but a shirt that cost only $7 or $8 at the most so u get 10 players on a team that's almost a $1000k .The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing and vice versa it is completely unorganized to the max ,if u call them out on things they dont want u there anymore
