Kevin Smith was absolutely fantastic. He was positive and energetic and excited to work with us right when we came in. He was great at communicating with me and answered all the questions I had. He was interested in my life and truly understands how big of a moment purchasing an engagement ring is. Bremer was the first place we looked and there was no doubt in our mind that it was the place we wanted to get the ring from due to Kevin. He understood the price range I was looking for and thoroughly explained the paying process to me.

My wife and I went in looking for a ring for her for anniversary. Kevin met us and walked us through the entire process. He is extremely knowledgeable and took his time and answered all of our questions. He provided the type of service that we used to expect but unfortunately is lacking nowadays. Anytime I ever have to buy jewelry again I will most certainly be back to Bremer Jewelry.

We first went to Bremer almost 10 years ago to have a new wedding ring designed, it is a custom designed piece that I still receive compliments on daily. Since then we have always done our jewelry shopping with them. I look for birthday gifts and holiday gifts for all my staff at Bremer and they are always helpful, and provide me top notch service. They have great selection at all price points which is helpful. I also enjoy the fun events they have. I am happy to refer my friends and family to Bremer!

I was looking for a new watch to purchase with some Christmas money I received. I stopped by Bremer one afternoon and met with Aaron. I was interested in a new Tag watch to replace my old watch. Aaron was very knowledgeable of Tag and was very helpful showing me all the various options available. I was concerned a bit with price so Aaron took the time to introduced me to a new watch maker out of Detroit call Shinola. Aaron's knowledge and excitement of Shinola was very apparent as he explained the benefits of them to me. The quality of the product with a comparable price to Tag won me over. Using the Shinola watch has been great, I find people noticing it on my wrist often when I'm out. Aaron was also fantastic at his job. It's so nice to meet a salesman who is more interested in finding the right fit for his customer rather then just the most expensive item to sell you. I've even bought some diamond studs for my girlfriend from him! Thanks again Aaron and Bremer for a tremendous adventure.

I love this jewelry store! My husband got my engagement ring here, we got our wedding rings here, and my husband buys my presents here!

The staff is always friendly and remembers your name (even after just one visit). They re never pushy and they work in a variety of price ranges which is appreciated. No matter how much you re spending you are always treated with respect and like you re the most important person in the store.

I have and will continue to recommend Bremer to anyone looking for unique jewelry and great service.

As per Bremer's response below, the shop has made every effort to make amends. In seeing our response, they not only sent us a hand written apology letter and gift, but refunded our services. Further, the letter said the staff would now expand their training to include greater familiarity with pearl jewelry. This a far better outcome than what I had expected from a bad situation. I want to send a big thanks to Bremer for going above and beyond to reconcile the issue. Thanks, we will be returning!

My wife and I have been to Bremer twice for service on her engagement ring. The ring was a white gold cast band with a black pearl as the primary stone. The ring needed to be sized down and fortunately, Bremer has a laser soldering device that can size down the band without removing the pearl from its setting (as the intense heat can damage pearls). On this occasion, the work was completed on time and as expected. Their proficiency in this first incident is the reason why I gave them two stars.

My wife and I had a long engagement, so when the wedding day approached, we wanted her engagement ring to be cleaned and re-plated to so it would match the wedding band in appearance on the day of the wedding. We went back to Bremer hoping that their service would again be good. The attendants estimated the process would take about four days. They also explained that they would need to soak the ring to loosen the epoxy that holds the pearl in its setting before the ring could be re-plated. We expected this much, so we let them have the ring and went about our business. Four days later we had heard nothing from Bremer, so we gave them a call. The staff at Bremer said that the Pearl had not yet released from the setting, and they needed more time. This was slightly disappointing since they failed to meet their deadline but not a deal breaker. Some trouble should be expected on our part since pearls require more special treatment than diamonds but I would still expect that a full service shop like Bremer would be capable of handling this type of jewelry. We would soon find that it is clear that pearl rings are not their area of expertise.

We were getting the impression that we weren't getting the full story every time we called. The staff at Bremer became unsure of how long the simple process of cleaning and plating would take, even after we had passed their four day estimate. We talked to several different staff members, and each one of them gave us a different story about what stage of completeness the job was in. When we asked if we could pick up the ring early complete or not, we were told no. Two days (and many phone calls) after we have passed their initial 4 day work estimate, we were informed the work was complete. We pick up the ring and thankfully it made it through the wedding. However, the pearl fell out of its setting in less than two weeks.

No longer trusting Bremer's work, we mailed the ring and now detached pearl back to the Jeweler who had made the ring. Upon inspection the Jeweler found that the pin the pearl is mounted on is shorter than the one he uses for his rings! Further, he finds that the pearl had been re-drilled along the hole that it is mounted on. This new information began to fill in the gaps of why a routine cleaning and plating took extra time and left the staff sputtering for explanations. Bremer probably soaked the ring in an attempt to loosen the epoxy that holds the pearl. Initially unsuccessful, they pried the pearl off, breaking the pin in the process. To remedy their error, they drilled the old pin out of the existing hole in the pearl and soldered a new pin to the band. Due to their lack of familiarity with pearl rings, the pin they soldered to the band was too short for the size pearl that needed to be mounted. This didn't give the pearl much for the glue to adhere to, which is why it promptly fell off.

I would give the person who helped 10* if it was possible. She was absolutely wonderful. Very kind, an exceptionally good listener and over very very kind woman. I love Brewers and I will definitely be back again soon.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of dealing with Bremer on multiple special ocassions and just because items. I have always found all of the staff to be knowledgeable and extremely accommodating to wants, needs, and budgets. Our best experience was probably the repurposing of a family heirloom. They took grandma s old necklace from something that sat in the drawer to a really stylish custom ring that my wife wears on a regular basis.

I ve shopped at both locations. My first time in the store I was shopping for an engagement ring, I d been shopping for months and couldn t find one that stuck out to me. I met Jen at the Peoria location and she sat with me for 5 hours while I looked at ring, after ring, after ring. She was very attentive, educated me on everything I needed to know, and before I left, we found the perfect ring for my now wife. Since then I ve purchased several pieces of jewelry, and each time received the same service from every single member of the Bremer staff. I won t buy jewelry anywhere but Bremer.

The courtesy and compassion shown to my husband and I by the team at Bremer Jewelry was above and beyond anything we have ever experienced in customer service. After we got engaged in (the ring was a surprise picked out by my husband, with the help of the sales staff and it couldn't have been more perfect!) we quickly went in to order our wedding bands, complete with engraved wedding date. Unfortunately, due to an illness in the family, we ended up having to change our wedding date, not once, but twice! Each time, they were happy to help...getting the new date engraved inside the rings - never batting an eye - and always asking how we were coping. Since then, we have purchased several more pieces of meaningful jewelry, and each time we are met with the same friendly faces and amazing customer service. The fact that the staff has been around for so long, says so much about the way this local, family business is run. Not to mention how generous they are to charities throughout central Illinois. Amazing experience. The commercial is spot on they treat you like the most important customer regardless of how much you spend . I brought in my wedding ring to have a new center stone placed and then create a pendant with my original stone and my goodness the ladies helped me to create a stylish piece that I will cherish. They also cleaned and redid the prongs on my mother in laws wedding ring and beautiful!!! If you want to be treated like a queen and walk away with gorgeous jewelry you have to come to Bremers. My wife s engagement & wedding ring needed to be resized and repaired. The repair department took the time to inspect the ring, talk to their onsite goldsmith, show me the repairs need under a enhanced camera and give me an accurate estimate. The repairs and sizing were done in the time they said and the work was EXCELLENT! I recommend their repair department, even if you did not purchase the jewlery through them. Very professional and excellent work with reasonable pricing.

I cannot recommend Bremer strongly enough! I just had a custom engagement ring made here and the entire process was perfect from beginning to end. For starters, our salesperson, Michelle, was phenomenal. Easy to work with, willing to explain things to us, and very excited to help us. At no point at all did we ever feel like she was pushing us in one direction or trying to make a bigger sale, we really felt as if she truly just wanted to help us design the ring that would be perfect for us, which she absolutely did. She even went so far as to come in on one of her days off in order to meet with us when we had limited availability. Truly great service!

But it wasn't just Michelle. Aaron and everyone else we interacted with had this sense of humble professionalism. Everyone was nice and engaging and seemed truly interested in us and our story and what kind of ring we were having made.

Bremer partners with companies of integrity and excellence throughout the process. Our ring was made by A. Jaffe, and we actually got to meet Adam, one of the designers from Jaffe, and have him help us in our design as well. We came to learn that our ring had to be made twice. During the 10 step quality check before sending out the finished product, apparently our ring missed the mark somewhere. Instead of fixing that one issue and sending it out, they remade the entire ring! That was really surprising to us, but it shows that unless the product is absolutely perfect, they aren't willing to put their name on it, and it is values like this that made me want to get a custom ring done through a smaller, non-chain store like Bremer & their partners.

People told me that Bremer would be expensive, being an independent store and not a chain. I really feel like everything was completely reasonable. I mean, I was buying a custom engagement ring... there was gonna be some serious coin dropped regardless of where it was. But the experience and quality of working with Bremer was worth every single penny, and on top of that my future wife and I will receive a lifetime of service. I just wish there was an option to give 6 stars!

I was able to replace a cracked stone in my ring and get the prongs repaired to protect the new stone. Multiple options provided so I was able to make the best choice and my ring is beautiful. I love it and I love that I was able to connect via text to have instant feedback.
