Very outdated. Beds were hard, had some abandoned rooms with the doors kicked it. The room was clean.
Insanely rude staff, with no regard for the tenets. Confrontational and threatened me and my wife physically when we locked our key in the room.

Mr. Bridges what was insane is the fact that you left your children unattended to smoke a cigarette, with no regards of whether you had a key to get back in the room. Access to me after hours is by phone, not pounding on my door. So, you had no keys, no id, no phone, yelling at me at 1 am. That is why I waited for the police to verify your identity. Any parent would agree with me. Your actions were insane. All for a cigarette.
I had grabbed the wrong key when I stepped outside, It was an honest mistake. Would you suggest I smoke in the same room as my children? Hotels, as they are 24h service require 24h support. I did have my phone and ID...when I called per the directions as the sign on the door stated you yelled at me for calling and asking for your help. I have a very hard time believing I am the first guest who has lost or left their key in their room. After yelling at me and refusing to let us in our room you suggested I call the cops which I did immediately... once they let us in you decided it was an opportune time to come and yell at me and my wife AGAIN. Pointing your finger, screaming, telling us we were bad parents. And for what? because we accidentally grabbed the wrong hotel key. I have stayed at hotels all over the world, and I have never NEVER had such poor service. This is beyond just a customer service issue, the way you treated us is not how people should be treated in any situation, no less a paying customer.
Additionally to your poor attitude, your hotel is in total disrepair. There were bugs all over the room, trash on the floor from a previous guest, 1/2 bottle of crown royal in the fridge, broken parts of the wall. In hindsight I would of needed money from you to stay here, yet you still want to refuse service and come to yell at your guests for losing a key.
Sadly there is not an option for less than 1 star, as you deserve lower. This was an awful experience and you are the reason that Branson is falling apart.
I don't want anything from you, you clearly need my money more than I do, but I hope people will read this and think before they book with you. You run the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and that is an accomplishment. So bravo on running your awful hotel into the ground by not keeping it up and treating your guests like trash.
Absolutely the worst place to stay. Room was dirty. House keeping never came to clean our room. There was food on the floor, floor never vacuumed. Wifi didnt work. We didnt get clean towels for 2 days. Customer service at the desk was not good. Definitely not worth what we paid to stay. We will not be coming back to stay!
Cheap! You get what you pay for. Had to leave a day early cause water came through on all are stuff in the bathroom. The guy at front desk wasn't real nice.
False advertising. Website said continental breakfast, sign out front said continental breakfast but not even a coffee pot.. staff said it was too expensive to do in the winter. How much do stale donuts and coffee cost?
My biggest complaint was the bed being uncomfortable. Cute grounds. Lots of stuff near by to do.
Both times we stayed here we checked in really late like midnight and 1 AM. Both times the gentleman (sorry I didn't get his name) was always warm and welcoming. On our 2nd stay our heater didn't work in our room, I called the desk and again the warm and welcoming gentleman was very understanding and told me to come to the front desk and I was quickly placed in another room. This hotel has officially became our place to stay any time we find ourselves in Missouri. WAY TO GO Windmill inn of Branson, Mo. We can't wait to stay there again.
Great place to stay. A very nice hotel which is close to many attraction and Tanger outlet mall in walking distance. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a plus. My kids enjoyed a pool. We will surely come back again. Thank you windmill inn for your hospitality.
The rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Tvs are out dated with no remotes.towels are old and not fresh. Beds are hard as concrete. Do not I repeat do not stay at the windmill inn
It is what it is it is not a five-star hotel and which I knew that when I ordered.. but rooms were decently clean.. although odor.. I was satisfied
Checked in Friday July 10th and stayed till Sunday July 12th cause already paid for 2 days the ac didn't work and the TV or wifi on Friday night told the owner they sent maintenance on Saturday morning they fixed the TV and wifi did something to ac it worked for a bit but never. Worked the way it was suppose to it just kept making a weird noise and never was fixed

We booked a studio that was advertised to sleep 3. Since we were booking on vrbo we don't have the option to pick a room or see any details other than the standard photos. Once the room was confirmed and I received a confirmation email, it stated 1 king bed for 2 people. I called and was told (by a very rude representative) that the room is only for two guests and they didn't have anything else available to transfer our reservation. They are refusing to refund our money for a room we CANNOT USE. We were told a family of 3 can comfortably sleep in a king size bed. Our daughter is 12 not 2! No we CANNOT COMFORTABLY SLEEP IN A KING BED. Beware!!
July 8-10 2016. We booked 3 adjoining rooms for ourselves our kids and grandkids. The room first room that my husband and I were in the a/c unit didn't work. The maintenance man told us that we would have to run it on low or else it would freeze up. He told us they had been having trouble with multiple units all summer. We turned on low and went out to dinner. Came back and the room was even hotter yet. Called the office once again. They told us they would have to give us another room. We reminded them that we would very much like to remain at least on the same side and floor as the rest of the family. We assumed this wouldn't be a problem since it appeared there were 3 more empty rooms on our floor. However they said that all 3 of those rooms the air conditioning wasn't working in either. So we packed our stuff again and dragged it to the room they gave us on the other side off the building. It was a single with no refrigerator even though we had booked a double with a refrigerator. They wouldn't refund the difference. Instead they offered some vague discount on our next stay (trust me this isn't happening)
The carpet in this room smelled awful. Moldy, musty wet nasty carpet smell. The bed was like sleeping on plywood. I didn't know they made mattress that hard! We had to call and request towels because there wasn't one towel in the room. The towels were as rough as sandpaper and about as thin as a paper towel. There was no remote to the TV.
In the room that my son was in the headboard literally fell off the wall and hit him in the head while he was asleep the first night. There were several stripped out holes behind the headboard looked like they had trouble with it before.
In my daughters room the TV was outdated as well. There was no remote to hers either. And the picture was fuzzy. The ceiling tiles above the shower was sagging and looked like they were about ready to fall down.
They advertised a hot tub and continental breakfast. There was no hot tub to be found. And the only breakfast I seen was a box of generic cornflakes.
The last morning as I was packing a cockroach crawled up the wall in the bathroom.
To top it all off once we got home we found that the motel had zapped another $200 off the debit card. Upon calling they claimed it was because one of the rooms smelled like it had been smoked in. It hadn't. We smoked outside the room. But once you are 300 miles away and home that's awfully hard to prove. The motel has the upper hand on that. So I guess we are just out an extra $200 on an already terrible stay.
My advice would be to avoid this place all together.
Beautiful and unique hotel. I visited from Mexico with family and we stayed in double queen. Rooms had out dated TV, the bed sheets and pillow cases where stained with some yellow substance and blood. Food crumbs were all around the floor and the smell of the room was like an outdoor toilet room. The lady, I think her name was Charman, at the front desk was rude and rash and could not be understood. The breakfast tasted like left overs from McDonald's. For the $89.95 per day that we paid for the 4 days we had poor room service...none! The towels were dingy and stained. The man that served the breakfast look like he was on crack and just came off the streets. Regret booking this reservation online.
DON'T stay at this motel....We stayed here they have BED BUGS...If u call the office for anything they HANG UP on u they DON'T CLEAN THEIR ROOMS....the place is s dump found joint rapper on the floor .. m&m's on the floor . We got a lot of bites on our body from the BUGS told the office and they hung up ....If u ask for a Corporate number or someone higher up they tell u there is NOBODY.....We asked them to change our sheets because of the BUGS they just threw them on the bed....DONT STAY HERE!!!They also gave us different rooms then we were supposed to hv..
The tub was dirty, trash was under the bed that was no ours, and we ran out of toilet paper.
Older hotel. railings are ducktaped! Ac doesnt work well. Towels are tiny and scratchy. Good thing is location is great amd beds are compfy.
Stayed at this location for 4 night and enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located just off the main strip, and very convenient. Check in was very smooth and easy. Room was clean, very spacious. Breakfast was AMAZING!! Possibly the best FREE breakfast I ve had. Eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy and waffle. We enjoyed our stay here. And we will definitely come back.
Very disappointed!! You get what you pay for. The room was standard, however the bedspread had a bad smell. The blanket I found in the dresser drawer was old and had a hole in it. We went to Walmart and bought
slippers to walk on the carpet. The sink area was not clean. The maid service did ok the first couple of days, but by the end they didn't make the bed, they just pulled up the bedspread. The towels were so rough, it felt like we were using scratch pads or sand paper to dry after showering. We should have brought our own towels, my very old towels are better than what they supplied. The breakfast area was not clean, the food was very unappealing, we ate out for breakfast every day. It's worth spending a little more and getting at least 3 - 4 star accommodations. We WILL NOT be staying here again. We left on November 23, 2016.

Lovery the room! Big tv, plenty of room, and actually didn't smell bad lIke most cheaper motels. Only complaint is shower head was kinda weak. But I love my showers so shouldn't be an issue.

Drove 3 hours gpt there went yo building c went to room and it stunk horrible, bed wad eet floors dirty. Sraff suck except the matiance guy . . But they did make it right gaveva a differnt room and evem a up grade
The hotel is great , the staff is awesome . The room is very clean and comfortable .Had a wonderful time in Branson. And of course the location is superb, very close to many attraction, and in walking distance to Tanger Outlet Mall. Thank you Windmill Inn & suites and staff, we definitely come back .
Worst experience I have had with a motel. We checked in and everything was fine till we discovered bed bugs. Went and asked for a refund to go somewhere else, and the desk clerk called us every filthy name he could, and kicked us out of the front office, and said he was calling the police. I said don t bother, I will call them , so I called the police and when the police got there his whole attitude changed. But we still have not received our money back. Customer service was horrible in the few hours we were there.

It's not a 5 star hotel but a decent place to stay. Nice employees. Breakfast was pretty much the same as everyone's. Biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal and breads. The towels are clean but not always white. It needs updates all around but is comfortable.
Rooms are dirty, they dont come clean your rooms, front desk very unfriendly. We won't be back
We stayed here this past weekend and my daughter is now covered in quarter size welts from being bit. The bed was on the floor not even on a frame. The sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. Trim was hanging off the wall. Underneath the beds were soda bottles and all sorts of trash. We had a few baby spiders in another bed and killed a handful just around the room.
