My Experience with Box has and still is the worst customer experience i have ever had, first my computer shipping was delayed by 3 days, which i was only notified AFTER I reached out the day before just to check on my computer. The second and biggest problem is the fact that they gave me a faulty graphics card, which I then had to send back, which took over a week. I was promised a "high priority" return as i needed this GPU for work. However it still took over the 7 days they promise on their returns for an engineer to look at the part. After waiting a few more days i receive an email from Box, after i constantly kept chatting to there online chat team, saying the card has received "damage" during the transit back to them, which is apparently my fault because i didn't package it correctly, even tho i used plenty of bubble wrap and made sure the inside of the box had paper tissue around the card as well. So now they will not fix the card, which was faulty when i got it, and send it back to me with even more damage. Before the only problem with the graphics card was the fact that it rattled when being put under high work load. So now the card is going to be sent back not fixed and possibly so broken that it literally will not work. Thanks a lot Box, that was a 2070 super aorus card. Now my brand new PC which i require for work will not function. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps. the customer service is awful. Nice people on the chat, but not good at there job.

UPDATE: They are sending back the BROKEN GPU back to me, which they haven't even tested, so whether it works or not is something im going to have to try myself. What a stupid company, the fact they are still running and operational is beyond me.

From not having one in stock, to BOX emaIling me to tell me they were back in stock again.
the guys at BOX are great and have given me a great product with great service!!!!

Great value. Next to nothing is in stock at any given time though so no good for just turning up & buying something & expecting to leave the shop with it there & then. They'll get it in for you to collect, or courier it round to you.

I needed a new Gaming Keyboard so I went to there shop they had a good selection of keyboards and I could try them first which I thought was an great idea "Try Before You Buy". I ended up buying a Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard which has been great so far. My only problem is that staff members don't have name badges so you can't say thank you for being so helpful and patient with me to the actual person who helped. I found their customer service very helpful since I went in not really knowing what I wanted but came out very satisfied. Great selection at great prices worth a trip there even if you only want to try out the latest tech before you spend your hard earned cash. There other thing is no hard sell they tell you the facts and give you time to make your own mind up, even if you say you don't want anything right now.

Bought a 65" LG tv from box as my first purchase. My initial thoughts were it good price and I can book it in for next day delivery.

Well I booked it in for next day delivery but their delivery company for heavy goods (panther logisctics) ignored that and booked it in the day after. I received an email saying my BOX delivery was coming out, unfortunately this was the freebie speaker and not my tv. I eventually received an email from panther that evening for my TV delivery the following day. This meant taking another days holiday, and more annoyingly that id wasted a day for a freebie speaker to turn up.

TV arrived and a friend help me unpack and install. As soon as it was on the wall we both noticed the defect on the screen. Called box and they understood and excepted the return but panther only delivers on a Saturday not collects! After groveling to a neighbour to sign for the collection I packed the TV up which he also needed to help me with and left for collection (on the monday). Asked BOX if I could have the replacement TV delivered this Saturday....

Just prior to me writing this review, panther emailed me to tell me they had not received the TV and obviously would not me making the delivery this weekend. This is after I cancelled my plans to go out with family so I could stay in and wait for the TV.

It wasn't BOXs fault the TV had a defect but using a 2 star (google rated) courier company and failing to get my new TV to them is! I am absolutely fuming!!

I should of just gone to Currys I'm sure they would of matched the price.

Purchased my laptop from here in person after realising it's cheaper than ordering via amazon. The staff were very helpful and talked me through what sort of laptop I would need and weren't pushy at all like when you go into PC world. I was so impressed my brother got his laptop from here and one of.my friends will be getting hers from here aswell

I bought an RTX 2070 recently which came very quickly, i had accidentally miss-typed my email whilst ordering the item and after trying to contact the support team i had the email to the account changed after 30 minutes of my initial request and great updates were given throughout the process. The website and staff behind it are amazing, can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent buying experience through the website which is quick and intuitive. Despite delivery being within 5 working days, my new projector arrived 36 hours after submitting the order! Excellent and quick service and the product is exactly as described. Can highly recommend and would use again.

I bought a clearance pc monitor from box. When it arrived it had obviously been returned by a previous purchaser. The packaging was damaged and the monitor itself had a dead pixel on the screen. Very disappointing. On the plus side, the returns process was straightforward and I got a refund. I won't buy from box again as I don't want the same inconvenience.

First time dealing with this company. Placed order...

First time dealing with this company. Placed order and all went through just fine. Was happy with the site and ease of use.

Cleared the next day to take delivery and tried to track. No results from DPD so gave them a call and was told the order had not been despached and would be delivered the next day.

Very disapointing as I could have got cheaper from other companies with next day delivery.

Amazing store, loved my trip there! Got to try out all the stuff on show while waiting for my order, and all the staff were really nice and helpful! If you love PC gaming, you'll love this place. They stock pretty much everything you need, from components and accessories to whole computers and laptops, and best of all, they're the same price as online, so you're not getting ripped off, unlike other larger retailers. It's not the easiest place to get to, especially if you use public transport, but it's well worth a visit!

I ordered an ex-display laptop from the clearance ...

I ordered an ex-display laptop from the clearance section, it was a good deal and unique 1 in stock item. After placing my order and money being taken I was then told the warehouse could not find the order and it was a 'stock miscount' on their side...how do you miscount 1 item?



So I asked them if they could move on the price given our previous sales agreement that they failed to fulfil and was told that they paid less for that one which is why it was a lot cheaper, which I guess is a fair reason but again, not the customers fault or problem.

In the same response they also said they could not move on any of their prices as these are the best they can offer, which is definitely not true as anyone in sales will tell you there is always wiggle room and especially when trying to appease a disappointed customer where you have accepted fault.

My consolation prize was being offered a (paraphrased) 'if you do order with us "we can see" about getting you faster delivery' which is vague and meaningless. Overall very disappointing experience. I gave 2 stars because at least they gave the refund promptly otherwise would have been 1 star.

Great price and fast dispatch - which has been my experience of buying from Box for a number of years.
Customer Service is also excellent - a minor (non-structural) piece of my chair was missing, but they sent out a replacement immediately.
A shame that DPD could not meet the same high standards as they really failed on the delivery side - but while DPD themselves refused to escalate the complaint, Box have kindly offered to do so.

Do not buy from them. They will likely cancel your order and blame it on having no stock - they'll also make no attempt whatsoever to remedy the situation. Steer clear if you actually want to buy something and receive it.

Really not happy with this company. I cancelled the same day I ordered and it's been nearly 2 weeks now and they still won't refund me because they insist on using Hermes. They tell me repeatedly they must wait for Hermes to return the product before they can refund me. That does not take 2 weeks. I've given up emailing them as I get the same generic crappy reply. I am writing a formal complaint for this.

Bought myself a 3d printer and the first one had a faulty control unit. I followed their returns policy and talked online. I returned it in person and left 30 minutes later with a brand new printer.

Very helpful staff and excellent customer service.

New printer is set up and running perfectly.

Its seems that none of the staff at BOX LTD are capable of either speaking to customers with the slightest amount of respect or efficiently dealing with the return of a faulty item.
Staggering!!!
I wonder if the companies owner knows how his staff talk to customers? or does he even care??

Sent a dead-on-arrival product. But that wasn t the issue. The returns process took so long and they never pick up the phone for customer service. The phone staff really don t care about you or your time. It s literally easier to do a credit card chargeback than go through their returns process.

Awful experience.
Every single customer service experience was a disgrace from inception to deciding not to pursue my purchase. Unfortunately it was only one agent I spoke to the entirity - Connor from Sales.
I wrote a few initial lengthy emails stating my situation, what I wanted, and how a product (prebuilt computer) could be purchased and delviered. The agent then chose not to reply to the whole email message, or subsequent ones, and took it upon himself to delete an order cherry picking information of out context.

Connor did not provide further options, suggestions, show interest or sympathy in the situation when the order would take a further week to be able to purchase on Paypal credit. No interest was shown in my recent personal difficulties that I detailed. Despite stating I was changing address and would not be present for delivery on other dates nothing was suggestion here either.
On phoning, he acted very robotically, unfriendly, unhelpful, unsympathetically as if reading off a script , not caring, and not going out his way to do anything. he appeared to want to get off the phone / reply to emails as little and as quick as possible.

After realising that a cancelled Paypal order meant the product could not be bought for a further few days, there were no alternative suggestions offered, no apology for cancelling the order, and no bending of the rigid rules the company offers. The single product in stock could be purchased by anyone else and I was given no suggestions or comprimises to help to to secure the item myself. I was advised to mark 'product requested' to hear when a product was in stock. This was done from day one, which did not work as I noticed the product on the swebsite as available without receiving an email notification (I received box.co.uk emails, it wasn't in spam). No action taken to state why this did not happen, and to express an apology for this or correct this for others in future.

When I advised I would not be making the order, I was not met with the slightest bit of resistance to try and pursue and order for a lot of money (from a salesman -from the sales team). It sounded like Connor, therefore Sales and the company as a whole were glad to be rid of me

I don't usually write reviews, and have had my fair share of dissapointment and poor treatment from companies, but I don't expect this from what appeared to be a respectable, clean looking website, with good product. It should be about customer service, if what else? So much time wasted on this company with no result.

I was another one that fell into the Ryzen 2700 trap. They had what seemed to be an offer on, it had been on for a number of days and I had ordered it on Friday with a Motherboard and memory.



It would have been nice to have been asked if I needed the other goods after cancelling a part of the order.

Or they could have offered an alternative.

I doubt I will use the company again as their customer service seems to be lacking and also seem to use fake trustpilot reviews.
