Very friendly when selling but very bossy when you come with faulty product. They do not want to give you money back after a week ! no exchange for same but new product. The only chance you have is to leave it with them for weeks and hope they will fix it... one week new product..

I have bought products from Box twice and both times the prices were the lowest I found. The variety of delivery options, including free delivery, is wide and customer service is great. I messed up a detail of my order and one email was all that was needed to sort it out quickly and effectively. I will definitely be buying from Box again.

After cancelling my order with another large electronics retailer for a Dell monitor, I stumbled upon Box's website. Thought it was well designed and clear, easy to make an order on. The monitor turned up quicker than I expected, very happy with my order and will no doubt use their services again.

Avoid at all costs! This company has absolutely no...

Avoid at all costs! This company has absolutely no idea of how to provide customer service.

If you are lucky enough to order something and it gets delivered, great! If you are one of the unlucky ones that has a problem, then suddenly it becomes a nightmare!

- They used a different courier from their website (Hermes instead of DPD)
- Hermes delivery failed
- Box still guarnateed me that Hermes will deliver
- Hermes delivery failed again
- Box wouldn't respond to my emails. 5 hours later I called them
- Box.co.uk lady told me that they would contact me later and that that the email response time is 6 hours. I explained how it says on the website 4 hours, and she told me I was wrong. I have since checked the website. It says 4 hours
- Box.co.uk told me they couldn't give me any more information on the failed delivery and thus I would have to wiat
- Box.co.uk told me if I cancelled the order, it may take up to 3 weeks to process a refund as Hermes would have to send back the item to them first. I'm pretty sure this is absolute complete rubbish as I have confirmation the product has not been delivered to me, thus they have to send me a refund regardless of where the product physically is now.

Ordered a laptop over the phone and collected it the same day with a Hard-drive upgrade, everything was ready and staff were friendly when i arrived.

Unfortunately there was a small issue with the laptop i purchased so i went back the next day and got a replacement straight away as per my request.
Even though i had to drive an hour each way i didn't mind as they resolved the issue painlessly.

Good prices, very good services and is my go to shop for electronics.

Disgraceful delivery, seeing as they use Hermes it probably says quite a lot about them. Two purchases made. Neither turned up on the day, as usual zero feed back from Hermes and when questioning Box the package was "Lost", how does this happen?

Second time this has happen with Hermes. At least one of their employees must be making bank for these transactions. Box didn't provide any information saying that package was "Lost" and the tracking said for 2 weeks that still coming on date.

All round just don't ever use Hermes. I know I'll be avoiding them from now on no matter the cost.

Ordered an open box item. When asking them about this, they confirmed that it was unused and likely just a failed delivery and the box was opened to check everything is there. However, when receiving my order, it was clear the item had been fully taken out of its box and briefly used. It was also missing one of its cables. I contacted box asking for the missing cable to be sent, to be told that i would get a reply from a manager. No reply (as of yet). So although the clearance section does have good deals in it, the "Open Box" doesn't mean that the item hast been used, so be careful when ordering these. Delivery was very quick and the price was good.

One of a kind computer store in the Birmingham are...

One of a kind computer store in the Birmingham area. There really aren't many shops like this around - packed with displays of all kind of enthusiast to professional grade technology (mostly focused on gaming however) this shop has it all.
There are plenty of display models of various chairs (something not found in many places), keyboards, mice, headsets, monitors and computers. They also carry a large volume of stock in store, so no need to wait for delivery if you can make it to the store.

Bought custom PC and ultrawide monitor from box.co.uk and could not be happier with the products as well as the way they were packaged. Someone at box.co.uk has a PhD in packaging! There was no way that anything I got sent could break on its way to my house. Very good job indeed!

Looking a store that offers deals like most pc suppliers online but need the item in hurry and from the Birmingham region then look no more they have in the past offered good advice and they have a fantastic showroom I can easily spend an hour there and check out the "Cube" rigs they build. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking pc hardware of nearly anykind

Non-existent customer service - they just don't give a Sh**!!

Bought a Laptop 1 month ago, received a DOA ticket from the manufacturer thinking 'no problem a quick replacement will be forthcoming'.. Ha ha ha - No Chance with BOX LTD!!!
I have repeatedly sent them RMA / DOA / Order info (they keep losing it!!). Emailed once every 2-3 days, All I get are further questions or they read my email but no response. Finally sent it back to them and now 2 weeks later no communication - They won't talk to you directly.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY unless you can guarantee your product won't fail! - BL**DY Awfull

Incidentally the same happened with a Printer recently but I gave them the benefit of the doubt - more fool me!!

Avoid this company. They have a terrible customer service, more than 24h to get a response by email, by phone everyone is busy and they never call you back. After 6 weeks I'm still fighting to get my refund from them and I have no money or item.

Ordered twice from this company. First order no issues arrived all is well.

Second order is where it went to pot. Customer service although responsive are not helpful. A simple tracking number is too much ask for had to chase around myself.

Having to wait in all day now. Will be ordering from elsewhere in future.

My order arrived today, the external hard-drive is a present so I have not unpacked and tried it yet but all looks in good order, especially with that amazing packaging, don't see how anything could possibly harm it!

Delivery was late in afternoon at the end of a busy day and I think we may have been the last drop-off, delivery man was extremely good-humoured and friendly, which added to the overall feel-good about this order.

Unsure of how good their online ordering is, as i've only bought things in the actual store in Birmingham, but always have the following problems:

- Have to stand around for like 5 minutes in a virtually empty shop because the staff can't be bothered to stop what they're doing and take your money.

- Always some problem getting whatever you want, twice they haven't been able to find the stock that their website said they had in for collection.

- Guy behind the counter is pretty rude.

- Literally every time I go in there, there's at least one other person with a problem (and there's usually only like 2 other people in the actual shop).

So I bought a monitor here which broke after a week. Had 14 days to return it if it was faulty so took it back. They said they needed to test that it didn't turn on before they could replace it, which would mean coming back a third time. So a week went by, no one called to let me know anything... went back in and they hadn't even checked the monitor for testing? Guess the guy just gave me a replacement to get rid of me.

Brilliant staff and service, my son was a little upset during my visit to the store and the manager gave him a little treat to cheer him up.

Purchased a new monitor which was the best price available, had tons more for the price than any competitors and to top it off I was able to collect instantly.

1 star review because Box.co.uk worked with TNT for the free delivery service and TNT is probably the WORST courier service available in the UK. On the order they said the parcel was to be delivered by DPD but clearly that's not the case.

Just read TNT reviews online to know why.

Abysmal management, and mostly terrible customer service (with one exception - Carol, on their online chat, is great). I sent my laptop in for repair under the warranty, a process which is meant to take up to 28 days. After a little under two weeks they asked me for my address to send it back. I gave it, and heard nothing further. Once I got in touch with them, they admitted error in failing to send it and promised to send it the next day. I waited in all day, again hearing nothing. I got in touch again the next working day, and was told it had been sent to the wrong delivery company, and would take up to another two weeks (which would be at least a week beyond the 28 days) to send it back *to Box*, not even to me. Every interaction I've had with them has involved them attributing the situation to "human error", seemingly oblivious to the meaning of this term - i.e. they're entirely at fault - but refusing to compensate me in any way for time lost on my work, or in interacting with their awful, awful management. Worst company I've ever had any dealings with. And I've still not got my laptop back.

i was almos buying laptop there, but i started to notice how bad the description of their products was. if they are that disorganised with their data, makes me worry about their products. I tried to help, but not even "thank you" back. The only reply i got was "it is a human error". When i said "i can see the RJ45 on the picture and the descriptions states RJ45: N/A" a guy started to argue with me there can be gaming laptops without RJ45... To finalise, they state their Google review score is 4.7, while i see a 4.1 right now... not nice... it will get even lower in a second...

AVOID this retailer !!! I bought a monitor which was sent to Hermes to delivery. Hermes couldn't delivery to my address due to I was away that week (trying to contact Hermes to delivery to my neighbour but they didn't want it). Then, the monitor has to come back to box.co.uk. During 10 days I was sending them emails to check if they already received from Hermes and when they will send me back. After 11 days I received a confirmation email about they already receive it and when I want to get it back, I replied ASAP. Two hours later I received an email unfortunately the item it is not in stock, WHAT??? That means, they sold my monitor to another customer without any justification. They explained me it was a mistake and just offer an apologies without any kind of alternative solution. If you can try to avoid this retailer, if everything goes fine it's ok, otherwise it will be a nightmare like in my case. It's up to you !! at least you have all points to decide.

Amazing store.

Amazing store.

Went there for a mouse and they had plenty in stock, they always seems to have stuff you want. Nice customer service and have no rude staff. While the store is a bit small, it has a massive warehouse where they store their stock. I would recommend this shop to anyone close to Minworth if there wanted item isn't in stock at one of their local computer stores.

Recently purchased a home cinema projector from Box which I picked up from their showroom. Product was a great price and ready to pick up next day. Also I arrived at the showroom just after closing due to bad traffic, but a chap there (Tony) went out of his way to get the item for me. Rare to still get customer service like that. Will definitely use Box again!

Dont buy anything from these companys..they send you the laptop.ok..after that they dont care..i had a repair in 4 weeks or replace or money back warranty with the cube laptop i got from the after many calls.emails and lies from this company..they finally fixed it..and instead of sending it back to me in basildon in essex..it ended up in portugal near spain..it took over 16 weeks..they wont give you a new laptop or your money back...so dont buy ANYTHING FROM .. The box ltd and saveonlaptops..(same company.. OK

Went in personally at the shop in Birmingham. Friendly staff member communicated very well to me and knew what he was talking about, even helped me out by giving me link to cheaper pc with more or less the same capability in which i gladly bought. Set up the prebuilt pc and works completely fine, was in great shape and packaging. Will definetly come back here again in the future and highly recommend based of my experience.

Item being described as Asus Z97 Pro on website in...

Item being described as Asus Z97 Pro on website in text and images but in reality customer would get an Asus Z97 Pro Gamer. The advert was clearly for an Asus Z97 Pro as all text and images were for it but in very small text was hidden the part number of the Asus Z97 Pro Gamer. Luckily I rang/emailed for clarification otherwise could well have ended up with wrong motherboard. Even after 7 days of them knowing the issue with their adverts they have not corrected them. So be warned double check all their listings on their own site and on ebay before making a purchase.

Pretty good, but bear in mind the shop doesn't store stock so if you order something online, and the site says it's in stock so you rock up to the shop wanting to get it over the counter, chances are you won't get it for a couple of days. So, for big purchases you want delivered, they're great, but quick purchases because you want something right now, less useful.
That said, their shop assistants are great, knowledgeable and helpful, people you feel have an enthusiasm for technology, and they've helped me save money on occasion, so they have my loyalty.

I've used Box a few times, most recently for a PC for my son. Each time I have been impressed by the friendly service and the quick, accurate responses to technical questions.

Impressed with the prices too, have had some real bargains.

Will definitely shop with Box again in the future.

WORST customer service I've ever seen !!! I've order a laptop that was 'exclusive upgraded to 16GB RAM'. The laptop I received was a used one, had a scratch on it, fingerprints, AC power cord unfolded and dirty, box was damaged, the protective bag was ripped. Anyway, as the aftersales and returns department is only email based support, I've managed to get in touch with one agent and explained the situation. A return has been processed and laptop sent back. After sending the laptop back, I've checked the progress and saw when they got it. The status was saying that it might take up to 7 working days to asses the product. I've sent them an email and asked to process this as soon as possible as a week passed already and I was not making use of the laptop I've ordered. In my email, I also specifically said that I'm not looking for a refund as the laptop was purchased through finance. I've asked them to send me a replacement one or the 8GB RAM model which should be new and sealed. At no point I've asked for a refund. Of course, my email was overlooked, as the customer support agent confirmed when I got in touch with them, and they processed a refund without even asking what I prefer, resulting in my finance agreement being cancelled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SAVEONLAPTOPS.CO.UK, which is the same!!!

Prices are good, however order processing isn't great. My order wasn't processed until 2 days after it was placed - even though I was charged immediately. I didn't receive any information during the 2 days I waited for it to be processed and shipped (it would have been nice to be notified my order was received but there were delays in the warehouse for example). It made me feel like paying the extra money else where.

What amazing store! Came in first thing in the morning, ordered my brand new gaming PC costing alot of money, collected it at the end of the day. The store is amazing, selling absolutely everything you could ever want gaming wise. Definitely my new goto place for anything electrical! Highly recommended.

My personal experience has been positive.

purchased ASUS ROG Strix GL12CX ( this was discounted and cheapest online at the time) and have had it over a week now so I can tell you how its all been.

The online website is easy to navigate and clear so you cant get confused. so placed order for the above as their online stock counter showed its available. got an instant confirmation email for order placed. One thing i'm really pleased with they use DPD as their courier as in my experience has always been the best and an option for Sunday delivery which is great !. So pc arrived with all seals intact ( so I know i'm getting a fresh new one and not a repackaged one ! ). as you would expect the computer is pristine out the box with all literature etc and very well packaged, the box itself underneath did have a small impact damage but that could be down to transit etc. so far I've been pleased with my experience with BOX,co.uk and have placed a further order for a gaming monitor which I don't do if I had a problem before.

Ps I wanted to buy another pc of the same spec as above ( for my wife) and BOX.co.uk website did say more were on the way but since then is no longer available on their website which is a shame as I had to go elsewhere ( ebuyer ! awful ) for the the same model and price.
