I've been with Boss for over a year now and have found them to be wonderful. The most important part of a great agency for me is communication and the great staff at Boss have always been available. At 7am helping this lost woman find my set or late at night getting the call times out, they have never let me down.

If you are trying to get your child an agent this is not the place to go. My daughter who has been looked at by many commercials, people, agents have all told me to get her an agent she would do so well. Well we decided to do so and was even told by Liz she wanted her, but never heard nothing from her or got anything. Was even told our email got lost in spam why never got back to us. Waste of time they do nothing to help. Waste of money and time.

Great experience working for Boss. Started in the summer of grade 9 and Boss really helped me get started in the film industry. Addy and Sonya and the rest of the team are super friendly and will answer your calls and they work very hard for the people they represent.

I have been apart of this phenomenal organization for only 2 years now. Only by chance. Owing to my unique physical stature was I introduced to Boss Management through a friend. Turns out my agent as she came to be, was a classmate of my friend and I. They work with me to keep me in the loop. They are always ready to suggest helpful insight. I have had an incredible time working in the industry. Even comfortable enough to have directed a friend and an acquaintance's (young daughter) to Boss Management. Both have said their 1st contact and experience was encouraging, positive and honest. Other actors and models, both with agencies and free lance have confided they hear good things of Boss Management. If you want a more then reasonable opportunity in the talent industry? Don't take a chance else where eh Contact them. I am not regretting my choice.

Stay away!

Stay away!

Their sheer level of incompetence is staggering. You are treated like a number not a person THEY work for. Remember, they are to represent you and work for you, as you pay them a cut of your wages. But that is not how Boss works. The snotty, curt, brash and totally uncalled for telephone and text mannered (if you ever get an answer at all) people that work there will ruin your career.
Within a year these are some examples of what they people at Boss has done:
- By law, you have to get paid two weeks after you work but Boss doesn t issue your pay 3-5 weeks later, saying production hasn t paid. Yet, when you do get your Cheque it is actually was dated within two weeks of working.
- forget getting any sort of penalty pay from production when you are cut 6 hours before work. Boss will tell you can go and try getting it, but it s better not to make a problem.
-communication, what communication?? Within their own agency there is little communication as they will double book you for auditions and background. Then get mad at you for it. They do not answer their phones or texts, saying sorry I don t check my texts even though they texted you in the first place. When you have questions or concerns before 10:00am, good luck. Furthermore, they are rude, curt and plain offensive on the phone. When you have questions or are just trying to actually help them, they text/email and say that the re just confused. I guess speaking to an actual human is impossible there.
- they will get you in trouble on set as they will miss listing specific instructions as to what, when, where or how you should look like when you get there. And even after they own up to it, they will use it against you.

-foster you career? Ha forget that. They are not there to help you advance but probably derail your career in and outside of the film. Just lookat the other peoples posts on here, that is a snippet as what goes on.

Sonya May or may not know what kind of people she has working for her. She might want to find out and fire them, as everyone in the field thinks Boss is the worst.

Boss Management is a superior agency for actors. They have some great people working there as agents
for acting, modelling and background performing. Some agents specialize in commercial print work and voice overs. Others in commercials and others are generalists handling acting, commercials and everything else. My acting agent, Danny Abraham has consistently provided me with opportunity to be in the top audition rooms. He is also excellent at advising me. My background agent, Liz is the best background agent I have ever had. She and her staff makes sure I am submitted to lots of shows and therefore I have gotten lots of work through their stellar efforts. I'm even doing continuity background on one show. All the staff at Boss including the CEO, Sonya have a lot of experience and a desire to help performers succeed.
They also have a new sister agency, Apollo Management. The photographer that Boss uses, Moe is easy to work with and is a talented photographer. I have many extremely good photos from my photo shoot with him. They even have someone who does location scouting for film and TV productions. Boss has a PAD system, and that means no more waiting for cheques. The create a Dropbox for you that contains all the information you'd need about your bookings. Plus they are now creating another system for documents. You couldn't ask for a more businesslike and efficient agency. Its the people that really makes Boss, shine.

Not only was I only sent on 2 auditions in a year (one of which I had to bring to my agents attention myself), but when my agent left the agency, I found out from an outside party. The agency waited several months to contact me and introduce a new agents. That is a lot of missed opportunities.
Boss is good for background work, but from my experience, I can t say the same for commercial. I felt completely disregarded.
