My service advisor was Bob Horrell. From the moment I arrived, Bob was professional, technically knowledgeable, understanding, excellent listener, and very customer focussed. My husband and I were greeted by Joe Howland in the parking lot at Bob Jass Chevrolet. Joe's magnetic smile and friendliness showed us that here was a salesman, who was genuine to the core. He showed us around and was very understanding of our price range. He brought out a 2020 Equinox that he felt was a great value for what we could afford. We test drove it, with Joe explaining in detail all the features on it. In less than a week, we were sold on it! Working with Joe Howland, Ryan Easter (who is also honest and wonderful to deal with), and others was such a great experience. Best experience ever buying a car!! My "Hubby" had a price in mind before we went to dealership, and James Srail worked diligently to make sure we left with the beautiful car that we wanted. The General Manager, Ryan, got us out within an hour of our offer, this was a first!! We will see you this summer with our top down in the Camaro!!! (or maybe this Spring!)
Bruce was wonderful! If you ever need a vehicle he is the person you want to work with. I drove over one hour and was worth for the service. Before I drive Bruce was very helpful on providing a great deal and explaining the process for my first car from a dealership.

However, I was able to get all vehicle information and a fair price for both the new car and my trade in with no hassles...great service! The recall work was completed much sooner than I expected, obviously a major Plus. Before I knew it, the service manager was out telling me my car was ready.
Recently my car of 10 years and over 200,000 miles died. I and my family have always been faithful to the Chevy brand. Living locally I looked on line and filled out a credit application for Bob Jass. I was interested in a Trax or an Equinox. Bob Jass salespeople texted me several times asking when I could be in. I walked into the dealership and asked to test drive a Trax and an Equinox. I was told they can't help me. That noone could help me. They refused to allow me to test drive. I left feeling embarrassed. Later that day I went to a Chevy dealership in Dekalb. I was told no problem. I was allowed to drive anything I wanted to. I purchased a new Trax. I pick up my new car tomorrow. Salesman James at Bob Jass really needs to work on his people skills. I would never go back to Bob Jass they are not worth your time, money, or energy. Please buy elsewhere.

The people in the service area are so rude. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time. Not friendly at all. I was explaining to Bob that I just bought my car a few months ago and it is already having rotar issues! I thought I could trust my car coming here after I paid 17,000 on a car and Bob was so rude about all questions I had. I am ashamed to have bought my car from this place if i was going to get a slap in the face..I wanted help, not an unnessacary attitude and lack of trying to help a loyal customer. I'm definitely not going to put a good word in, if this is how things are going to be. I understand my car is under warrantee and doesn't get the repairs for free, but my car was supposed to be a CERTIFIED vehicle and I got jipped out of 17,000 dollars. The CERTIFIED papers were done half ass. Thanks a bunch!
The one star reviews are all the used Chevy owners of 1.4L turbo makes...the Cruze, Trax, Sonic that GM and this dealership burn people on. They're intentionally designed for unnecessary dealership service. Out of every car I've owned these small 4 cyl GM turbo cars are hands down the qwirkiest and most unreliable car I've ever owned by far.
Bob Jass took into account my husband's difficult schedule and allowed us to have the vehicle on an extended test drive to give him a chance to see it. The purchasing experience was relaxed and we felt like they cared about us having a positive experience, not just about selling a car. There are no smarmy salesmen here. Just simple, relaxed car shopping.

Dealership was fantastic everyone friendly no high pressure sales. They went out of their way to make sure I was getting the vehicle that I was looking for. Tony was my sales person and he was great, however I think any of the sales people would be great as they were all really nice. The wife and I drove 45 miles from home to find the drive was well worth going out of our way to not only get a good deal but deal with great people.

Like Family, every time I walk in its a smile and they remember who you are. I had a question after my standard oil change and I was directed to the right person who helped me immediately and got me on my way. Only Chevy dealer I will ever go to from now on. We even got AAA with the extended tow so that if we have to, we can get towed back to Bob Jass Chevy without worry of a massive expense.
Great customer experience for new car. Joe Howland and the sales team was a pleasure to work with. The end to end process was very transparent and high touch (joe sent texts on next steps and status) so that i didn t have to call. Saved me huge amount of time and peace of mind that the Suburban would arrive in the expected delivery window. I will go back again.
My wife was driving the Duramax today and the temp had dropped to -10, after about 30mins it started to gel. She made it to work in Elburn safely. I called the service department to see if they could replace the fuel filter when she got off work at 330pm, was told yes and I gave them my name. My wife shows up at 330pm and no I ne wanted to help her. Finally when 1 of the mechanics realized she was standing right in front of them they agreed. Charged my wife $155.00 to change a Fuel Filter on a Duramax, for a 10 minute job. I wouldn't advice anyone to go here for work.
