In 2012 I drove into their lot with a car leaking oil so badly, I couldn't drive it to the train station to drop off my girlfriend. Within 2 hours they had me driving a 2011 3 series to the station!
And now in 2014, I was moving to the state of Washington a few months before my lease expired on the 2011 vehicle. They accepted my trade-in early and are in the process of shipping a model 320 across the country to my new home!

I have been coming for service for 5 years. Overall things have been ok but never really felt appreciated. This past experience was terrible for me. Service advisor was not up to par and your labor costs very high and not reasonable. I will most likely not be returning. As u know from experience, customer satisfaction and proper branding are key to a service oriented business. BMW of Bridgeport let me down on a big way. While it will be farther for me to go another dealer, I feel I need to try one at this point. I gave this dealership every chance to do right by me and they failed.

I am probably on the younger side of most luxury car shoppers and usually am not given much attention and then I am pushed for credit app and deposit .Vulkan and the product specialist were very relaxed let my wife take an x5 for test drive without us having to ask then handed me an envelope with all paperwork I needed and said if I want fill out no high pressure tactics or this car will be gone tomorrow I felt comfortable enough to leave my credit card info and full it the credit app with instructions not to run unless I call cause was going to look at other brands. I then called back said to go ahead and was told I could come get car in few hours I drove off with a brand new x5 that night.

In the past, I've had negative experiences shopping for cars. I hate the feeling of being pressured to buy something that's too expensive and/or not what I'm looking for. So when it was time to retire my old car, I was not looking forward to the search for a replacement. That all changed, however, when I went to BMW of Bridgeport. The salesman, Ernest Ferrari, pointed me toward a great used Honda that someone had recently traded in for a new BMW. Although the Honda was a 2008 model, it had less than 30,000 miles on it. Ernie got me a great price for the car, and more than I'd expected for my old trade-in. When I test drove it, I knew it was just what I was looking for. More than a year later, I'm still in love with my "new" Honda. The professionalism of Ernie and the entire BMW of Bridgeport team made the car buying experience a pleasure. When it's time for my next car (which I've already decided will be a BMW!), I will definitely be returning to Ernie and the dealership. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I just got my first BMW from Jason Gellatly at Bridgeport BMW and it was great. They had lots of inventory and Jason was available and made it easy to get done from out of state. I got a used X5 with low miles and Jason had all the answers on it and fair pricing. But it only got better from there as I met Isiah and delivery specialist Glen Ramstack.
Isiah took me on a test drive and was very knowledgeable about the car. He really has a passion for the cars and is easy to talk to. Gave me some good tips on the ride and then passed me to Glen.
As a new BMW owner I was really really impressed with Bridgeport's "delivery" guy Glen. I recently bought a used Mercedes GL for my wife and didn't get anything close to this level of detail on the car. Glen walked through every single thing on the car and explained how things work, what to watch for, how to get the most out of it. Even helped set the car up. I had planned to brush this off and take 20 minutes but he was so good I went through everything. It was especially useful on the iDrive system.
Jason and the team made it totally worth driving 170 miles to buy a car. I love it and felt good buying there.

We were turning in an X5 off lease, so it could have been complicated, but the process was actually wonderful. It was very easy to book an appointment. It also was an easy drop off with a loaner ready for me. Before any repairs were done, they called to explain the problems, with an estimated cost. I chose the items to fix, and they completed the repairs in a timely manner. They called when the repairs were completed. Again, picking up the car was a very easy process. All I can say is that Bridgeport BMW is a well oiled machine with professional, personable and knowledgeable employees. I will continue to bring my car to be serviced and plan on buying a newer car from them within the upcoming months!

I have gotten my car serviced before. It has always been a great experience but today it was OUTSTANDING. The entire staff is professional, pleasant and very accommodating. I NEEDED my car serviced today and I've been working so much, I hadn't found the time except for today bc the kids are off but I still had to work. Not only did they squeeze me in for today but they shuttled me to work. They also kept me in the loop while my car was serviced. In addition, they called me when it was ready and promptly provided a shuttle to get my car. The place is impeccable and customer friendly. They provided coffee and a complimentary car wash since they couldn't wash my car due to the freezing cold weather. Just OUTSTANDING service all around. Special thanks to Tona. I've purchased/leased two cars from BMW of Bridgeport and each sales transaction was a great experience. I was treated with enthusiasm and respect. I never felt pressured. David, my sales representative worked hard to give me a fair price. I will go back for a third car when my lease is up.
More important than the sales experience is the service experience. From the person who answers the phone when you call for service to the person who greets you and then the person who handles your issue, you are treated like you are their most important customer. I am not exaggerating.
The facility is always spotless and there are good snacks, newspapers, television and comfortable seating to make any wait go by quickly.
I shopped for my first BMW at Darien and was completely turned off because everything was the opposite of what I've described above. One day with my second BMW I had to stop at Darien for an emergency service issue and I couldn t get anyone to talk to me for ten minutes. What a difference compared to BMW of Bridgeport. They are tough and firm in that area. Make a sales appointment in advance to ensure salesperson availability. My salesperson took multiple calls while we test drove. The sales room was busy too. However. I was turned off by the bravado of the neighboring salesman, bragging and using foul language, while on the phone at the desk next to me and my salesperson. I did not have a positive experience with post-test drive communication/return calls over the course of a week, and in the end, purchased elsewhere, but I would at least look here again for my next car.

My experience with BMW Bridgeport over the last 10 years has been anything but positive. I have kept trying to find a decent service person there with little luck. They are all condescending to women and the president has no interest in correcting the issues there. He has been made aware of how rude his service people are and has done nothing over the years. The sales people are fine but most contact with a new vehicle is with the service people. they can make or break the experience and I don't respect any organization that is not willing to fix the issues. There are enough complaints that something is not right. Most important-this location is a franchise which most people don't know. Buy from BMW NYC which is BMW owned and you will get a much better price-difference is big. you can service your vehicle anywhere.

Helping us select the right X5 with the best options, color and cost was also awesome when you even pointed out our X5 was the most cost effective out of all the X5 s you had in inventory!
We especially enjoyed the new car during our first day trip to the Misquamicut beach in Rhode Island, being comfortable and experiencing the smooth drive on and off the highway while enjoying the maneuverability of the car handling so well around the corners. Furthermore, we felt bad for all the hard work you did behind the scenes during your day off and at night to limit our time in the busy showroom. Every time we thanked you it was always a happy my pleasure in response, regardless of how awkwardly candid the question could be (in few cases). You made us very happy!
We feel you even went above and beyond again when we just got home from Bridgeport which is a 1.5-hour drive and explained that we just found a chip in the taillight to our dismay and felt bad even bringing that up to you. Even though we drove 50 miles home you immediately made an appointment to have it fixed for us!

We like to have one luxury car in the garage. Over the last 12 years we had two E350's, and then we decided to try the BMW 5 series. Its been a great car. As we neared the end of the lease two things happened. First we were in for service (at 28,000 miles) and they told us we were going to have to buy tires before we turned the car in at lease end. We had a 32000 mile lease. What basically is happening is that BMW is leasing the vast majority of their cars with run flat tires that will not last to the end of the lease. Hence you will have to replace the tires at your expense or give them approximately $1300. Second we were being warned by a number of our friends who had turned their BMW's in, and were charged thousands of dollars for minor ware defects in the paint. Today we took our car in for its inspection (after I had bought the tires) and they told me that I was going to be billed for a 10 inch hairline scratch in the rear bumper, perhaps $1200. I complained to both BMW of Bridgeport and BMW USA. Both gave me the usual "Sorry you had that experience", before they told me tough luck you loser.
Mercedes never charged me for similar ware on the two cars I leased from them.
I loved the car but be prepared to get screwed by BMW.

One of the biggest problems when you drop your car for a service is to get a ride to your work and another ride to go back to dealer to pick up your car. Bpt BMW offered me shuttle(2019 M X3) to my work and also back from work to the dealer which was a relief for me. Text communication was awesome. Received an email with payment link that l paid online before l arrived to dealer, another convenient thing. When l arrived my car was washed, clean and ready, l just picked up without dealing with payment. Ladies at the reception were really nice. Bernard was quick to process request and was nice enough to tell me about special even before l mentioned coupon which gives me trust on him. I always leave with my car in worse shape than I bring it in for service. They definitely make sure you think if it isn't replaced immediately by them, the car will fall apart. I've gone in with "issues" looked at by another mechanic only to have a "sky is falling" diagnosis from Bridgeport BMW. Now today because they couldn't squeeze enough money out of me, they softened my brakes and definitely did something to my tie rod so it's horrible to drive. I did not drop it off in that condition at ALL! Now I have to go to another mechanic to fix their games. Do. Not. Go. To. This. Dealer. I have thousands of hits on my reviews and all I can say to each and everyone of you is Ruuuuuuun!

Best car shopping experience I ve ever had! I started the process online and sent the car that I was interested in to them via their website. When I walked in I was greeted immediately. Kelly helped me right away. He was awesome and very thorough from start to finish. I test drove the car and was in love. After completing the application I was called back in to sign the docs with a better rate than the other dealership that I went to and a more comfortable payment. Victoria kept me up to date with the financing piece...she was amazing as well! Overall I would highly recommend this dealership!!!
