STAY AWAY ... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME

My brother purchased a used certified 2011 X5 from this location about 2 months ago and all he has been experiencing is nightmares. A week after he purchased the car, the driver window stopped functioning so he had to drive in to get it fixed. Right after that the window trimming kept falling off, so he took it back to them to get it fixed. Now that its been almost 2 months, the car started overheating .. I took it to back to them to find out that the water bump has to be replaced and there is a leakage of oil. They are asking for $1500 for this to be fixed and that it is not covered under a warranty.
Not sure what quality assurance procedures these guys follow

Very bad customer service and rude. Don't recommend this dealership at all

I bought a used 650 convertible 4 months ago and have put less than 5,000 km on it. I brought it in for a check up before a trip. Before even looking at the car, they told me the spark plugs had to be replaced for $441.00 at my cost. I was told to go talk to the salesperson who sold me the car. I told the salesman that I was concerned because of all of the terrible reviews online about their business and he told me that I shouldn't have to pay since the car was so recently purchased. He said he would call me when he spoke to the service manager. I received an email about an hour later that contradicted everything that he said in his office and that the service manager "has offered as a good will gesture to pick up half of the bill for the spark plugs."
It seems there are a plethora of one star reviews from real people here and several anonymous "google user" reviews. I can't recommend for any reason buying or getting service from them.

The girl Ming at the front desk gave great service and had a really positive attitude. She managed to book my oil change for me even though the service department was closed and helped me out alot. She is a huge asset to the location! Thanks

The reason I deal with BMW London quite simply, is...

The reason I deal with BMW London quite simply, is 'expertise, trust and respect" and because of those attributes, I've been a BMW London customer for over 10 years now and through 4 of my 5 BMW's (my first BMW came from Beach Auto in Toronto and before I met BMW London). Btw, I currently live in Toronto!

In this last experience I advised my service consultant, Mr. Nick Nunes, that my car had a thumping/rattle sound coming from the front right in or near the wheel well area. He knew immediately what to look for and advised the mechanic of his thoughts. The mechanic confirmed Nick's assessment, the parts were ordered and we scheduled the repair work.

We ran into a problem while I was there however, in that once into my car the mechanic concluded he was going to need more time than was available re: the dealership's operating hours. Nick immediately called me, advised me of the situation and suggested I take the loaner vehicle I already had, back to Toronto. Quite frankly, a typical response that I would expect, given the situation... but what transpired next made a world of difference to me and is a prime example of why I continue to be a loyal BMW London customer.

Essentially we now had an issue in that my vehicle remained in London while I was back in Toronto. As a solution, BMW London offered to send one of their staff with my car to Toronto to deliver it and pick theirs up but, because it just happened to work out, schedule wise, I suggested my daughter (who lives in London and just happened to be coming to Toronto for the weekend) bring my car back and when she returned from the weekend, deliver BMW London's loaner. Even though this would mean I had the loaner a couple of days longer, BMW London agreed. And while I understand this likely saved the dealership a few bucks in not having to send one of their staff to Toronto and back, it was also a great convenience for my daughter and I. It showed great flexibility in resolving and bi-party inconvenience/issue and trust in working with each other to a mutually beneficial outcome.

We have owned our BMW X1 since 07/22/2016, over two years, and have had to bring in the vehicle in a total of 7 times outside of the general maintenance schedule for various issues such as loose caliper pins, gear selector fault, traction control warning, manufacturer recalls, battery issues, and noise emanating from a loose door handle. In addition, our BMW remote app map function has stopped working since April 2018 and only recently has BMW Connected Drive customer team contacted me to advise that the app is now working again. I'm still unable to login.
In July 2018, the car required major repairs for a gear selector lever. This repair was extensive and included the removal of the heatshields, linkage from the transmission, new exhaust clamp and more. After the repair, the car has developed a persistent rattle that is loud and difficult to ignore. We had found two screws left in the cup holders and suspect the rattle is coming from an improperly secured part. We had brought the vehicle back for the rattle and was told the front control arm was the cause and needed replacing. After this service, the rattle has persisted. Whether or not the missing screws are the cause of the rattle, we do not know. We do know that the rattle developed after the July 2018 repair. Feeling rather frustrated and based on the recommendation of Dave Brown, business development coordinator-BMW London, I contacted BMW customer service on 09/25/2018. Finally we received a call on 10/12/2018 from Megan, service coordinator-BMW London to book a service appointment. While I appreciate BMW Customer Service reaching out to BMW London, this is an unsatisfactory response considering that it took almost two weeks for this outcome since my original email. At the very least, we would have expected the service manager to call us. Not caring enough to have Management contact us speaks volumes about their level of commitment to customer service. We will not be recommending a BMW or this branch to any of our friends and family.

I am in the car industry, and was looking to buy an M3. I contacted several dealerships and finally got to London Bmw, form beginning to end what a pleasure to deal with. Bernie Wong was great went above and beyond what would have been expected even delivered he car to me and I live and hour away, if anyone needs a BMW please get it from London its worth the drive or the call, Again Thank you Bernie.
