Was happy with the room, food in the restaurant and service from staff. Our waitress in the restaurant, Rosie (7764), provided exceptional service.

Nice, newer hotel right across the street from Watterson towers. The hotel is clean and newer looking. The indoor pool is somewhat small. Overall a good experience. Only disappointing aspect of our stay was the view from our window was of the rooftop air conditioner. Couldn't see beyond that unfortunately.

Quality inns give you free wifi....idk why Marriott can't.

Everyone working there was very attentive. Only weird thing was no bartender or barista working...

The front desk was helpful at our midnight check- in. Our room was nice, but a smidge unkempt in the restroom. We literally had no bar soap.

Job well doneIt was the best experience i have had. The amtrax accommodations was superb. Thank you Marriott for such a beautiful room it was so wonderful and the people are just great. Thank you again everyone.

We had an excellent time staying here. The staff was friendly and helpful, the price was right, the location was very handy, and it is beautiful inside. We will be staying here the next time we are in Bloomington!

Checkin line was 15-20 min long from 5pm to 9pm. And again the AM, 5 min wait. Marriott must be slipping.

Super clean and well mannered staff and facilities. The rooms were larger than most and extremely comfortable.

Wasn't impressed with the bar needing $50 on my card just to run a tab for drinks.

Didn't stay overnight at this amazing place but enjoyed the hospitality and cleanliness of the place. While their bar could improve their craft beer selection I was still able to find a decent ipa.

Great conference rooms. Was here for two weddings and both were decorated nicely and the hotel staff was courteous.

Great place to host a business event but the catering wasn't all that great the sliders were very dried out.

Great hotel with lounge. Only thing that was weird was the parking garage connected via a walkway.

Flight crew asked them to place ice packs in the freezer. They left them setting on top of the coffee maker all night. And they store flight crew ice packs in the same ice chest they use to sever ice to guest. The rooms are nice and staff is pleasant. But 1 major issue using the ice chest you sever ice to the public as a cooler for flight crew freezer packs is unsanitary.

Very nice convenient location with a Starbucks and Jimmy johns not even a block away. The employees here are very nice and do everything they can to make you feel welcomed. The only complaint I had was when I was away from my room for 5 hours they didn't clean it but once I came back they got to it. Other than that very nice hotel

Went there for a conference. Nice conference rooms and food was good

No working fan in bathroom and dirty tub. Very disappointed - Update 08/27/18, I did reply to the response, spoke with Jen who was very nice and I shared with her my concerns. Will still stay here in the future, Jen and the rest of the staff are great people. Look forward to the improved housekeeping.

Attended for conference. Very clean lobby and convention area, very friendly staff and quality food for provided lunch and dinner.

Very comfortable rooms. Beds were just the right combination of firm/soft. Great location for exploring "uptown" Normal businesses (restaurants, bars, coffee shops, wine bar, theater, etc...). Parking is a breeze.

Attended professional event in the conference rooms. Very nice hotel and event center. Large rooms, sound system, projectors, stage, bars, and coat room. Perfect for our professional event.

Went in for drinks. Had to search for a server and once I found them they told me to just go wait on them, they had to finish their conversation. Waited a fair while then drinks were poorly made. I actually ended up pooring my drink out.

Poor experience with customer service would not recommend

An OK hotel that is conviently located near Illinois State University. Not all that impressive for the price of rooms, food, etc. Typical Marriott though.

Facility and building is impressive, but the guest rooms are nothing special.

Can I just say, Eryn Sullivan is easily the best bartender I have ever had. She knew how to perfectly make every drink I had asked for and made great suggestions.

I didn't stay in the hotel, but was here for a conference. The space is very nice. They provided us free parking throughout the entire conference which was very nice because they could have used that as an opportunity to capitalize.

Staff was amazing. We were in town for a wedding and hotel shuttle was nice enough to come pick 10 of us up for a fee. Will stay here again if in town.

The conference room was elegant and well-appointed. The staff was attentive and efficient. The food was quite good. There was a bit of sound bleed over from the events going on in the adjoining rooms.

Way overpriced for the area. Room is clean and large but SO HOT! Running the air conditioning on high at 60 degrees. Thermostat says it is 63 in our room, but it is closer to 80. Room will not cool down and it is Winter. Wifi is horrible. You can even use it. The mini fridge is super loud. The bathtub plug isn't properly installed, or possibly broken. It is sitting on the side of the tub instead of being properly hooked up.Will not be back for the price. But, on the plus side, late night staff was very friendly and helpful. Quick edit: Maid just tried walking in our room at 9:40am when we are still in bed even though I had the do not disturb sign hung on the door. Knocked once and then immediately tried to enter our room! Wow. For the price of this hotel, these problems are ridiculous.

THE CONCIERGE ROOM IS CLOSED. I come to this hotel only for the concierge room and it's been closed since COVID. I get it, but they are doing nothing for those that want to use their status benefits. I went down to get coffee at 6:45 AM and the front desk told me to use my machine in my room. So, I did, but the creamer was curdled. I called the front desk again and they told me to come down and get it because apparently she is the only staff member that can. With a loyal customer that has over 1000 nights this is disappointing.

Amazing accommodations for my new bride and I. We booked a block of rooms for our wedding and everyone immensely enjoyed the amenities the hotel had to offer. Rooms were great, breakfast was very good and the hotel staff were very nice. The location in uptown Normal was perfect for us. It allowed us to walk from the reception at Medici to our room, which took about 30 seconds. Overall just an awesome experience at this hotel. Fantastic!

Great location in downtown Normal, clean rooms, nice staff. Only issue was loud neighbors that were allowed to be very rowdy throughout the night until 3 am.

I live near a lot of hotels in downtown Chicago, and this is at a similar level. The lobby is great because there are lots of places to sit and relax or do work. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, safe, and coffee maker, which are helpful for traveling. Staff are professional and the place is generally clean. I went to a conference and there were no issues with WiFi or food. As with most hotels I've visited, the fitness room is an afterthought. I don't know why it's common in the industry to not maintain that room as others.

Neat and clean in my room. Housekeeping did a great job in upkeep. Scott the maintenance guy was PROMPT and COURTEOUS when repairing the TV both times. There was "weather" in the area a couple of times in the 4days I spent there, causing some TV disruptions. He tended to them right away. Thanks Marriott!

The waitress at the coffee shop made my hot chocolate terribly, and it took awhile for her to come over to serve me.

My room was very dirty, not dusted and no free WiFi

The Jessie s Grill is wonderful for breakfast and dinner just as you walk into the lobby. It is walking distance from the Braden center

Nice rooms. Great service. Had a problem with the TV. They fixed it quickly.

Above average accommodations, extremely friendly and helpful staff in a busy, loud part of town. Very close to ISU campus!

Have stayed on multiple occasions and we have always been very pleased with the cleanliness and customer service. This is the best you can find in central Illinois
