The best seafood in the world. Whenever I am in the area I have to stop in for food. Even if I am in a rush, a couple dozen oysters hits the spot. If I have more time, the full seafood menu is so fresh and delicious it is a great experience every time.

Lisa was our Waitress she was very friendly and our food was delicious has a beautiful view. We had the mahi mahi and a cheeseburger. You have to order fries separate which we forgot to do but as soon as we mentioned them a hot delicious plate of them arrived at our table within 10 minutes

I ordered steamers. They were so over cooked that my teeth hurt for days! The clam chowder was decent. Also it took forever to get anything and it wasn't busy. The place is so old, dirty and tired. My shoes were literally sticking to the floor as I walked yuk. I know it's been there forever but I was very disappointed

What can I say? Locals favorite? Best Ruben ever? Best place to park your boat for lunch? Or all of the above

Food was alright service was also alright. Nothing super outstanding other than the some rare menu items like oysters. I had fish tacos and mozzarella sticks. Fish tacos were dry but tasty and the mozzarella sticks tasted like they were made yesterday and reheated.

Stopped in for a 'Damn Good Burger' and it was! Perfectly cooked. Fries were hot and tasty as well. Waited at the bar for our table and enjoyed a pinot grigio, the bartenders were awesome!! Musician on the patio was great! Played a great mix! Will be back!

Love this place.. seafood, seafood and more seafood but they have a killer burger as well. We usually go by boat but can drive up as well. Staff, management and service are clutch. When we visit Southport we are showing 12 to 20 people deep. We make reservations and our table is always ready. Place looks run down, or charming if you prefer. But the food is always fresh, consistent and delicious. There bimini bread and the blackened mahi is the shiiiit.
I Highly recommend... one of my favorite spots hands down.

Great place to hang out with family and friends. Nice outside patio seating area with mistifiers to keep you cool on hot days. Inside looks like a typical bar.
Southport Raw Bar is kids friendly, they'll enjoy looking at the boats docked outside. Parking in front is limited but you can park in the back, actually side parking lot.
Osters are great. It was my first time eating osters and I enjoyed it.
There's live music (on Sundays at least, not sure about the other days). For easy relaxing and inexpensive dining, this is a great place to visit. Very unpretentious but kind of yachtie

An old, dingy, dive bar with great food! The fishdip is amazeballs, the seafood is fresh and the beer is ice cold. Awesome spot to chill!

Grilled oysters are the rage! Food is good. Live Music wasnt great and was super loud. Wish they had more than just beer and wine.

The Bimini bread is an absolute must! The raw oysters and peel to eat shrimp are ideal choices especially as Happy Hour specials. The service is quick and pleasant and the view is quite serene.

My favorite restaurant in Florida. A great local place. Everything on the menu is good, especially seafood and items off the grill. I went to Fort Lauderdale for 4 days and I ate here 4 times.

We had a great time, and the food was delicious. We sat outside and ordered steamed clams, oysters which were so good, mussels, and the conch fritters. I'm very picky with conch fritters, but these were good. We also ordered the mahi tacos blackened which were tasty - next time I'll order the sauce on the side. Good, but just a taste for me is perfect (personal preference). Place was very busy, but our waitress was nice and attentive.

Love the place and it has many warm memories I will never forget, although the dishes arent very big they are very good, and the raw oysters are quite the delicacy (although an adquired taste)

At the waterfront seafood restaurant which also offers other food. You can sit outside and enjoy the food. The food is not bad, just cooked a little too fat, but tasty. Was looking for a place close to FLL airport to kill some time before our post cruise flight home. This was a short (10 minute) Uber ride away. When we pulled in the parking lot I was a little skeptical but once we walked in it smelled delicious and was PACKED which is always a good sign. I can say with complete honesty that the peel and eat shrimp changed my life. Literally the best I've ever had because the sauce was just so good. We also ordered fried scallops and cracked conch which were good as well but when I come back (this is going to be my new go to place every time Im in Fort Lauderdale) im just ordering a bunch of shrimp. Definitely recommend.

The food was very flavorful. The oysters were steamed just right. Nice, fun down-home atmosphere. YOU CAN SIT INSIDE OR OUTSIDE.

Love the food here! We were a party of 7, so we had a bit of a wait. Our mistake for trying to get seated while they were busy!! There is outside seating that is great in the evening and Dec thru March.

In town from Nashville and our Uber driving told us about this place on the way to dinner at another restaurant. We decided to try it the next night and loved it! We ate outside on the patio by the water during happy hour. We loved it so much we came back the next night also. Very causal, beach feel, and great food.

Bartender was great soup the best chowder it is just a local joint that we return to on every visit to ft.lauderdale

Bring your boat or drive in to this seafood restaurant specializing in raw seafood like clams & oysters. Also know for its clam chowder they have been in business for 50 years. They also cater to other tastes with items like chicken or plant based proteins (beyond burger). It has a warm older friendly vibe. My meatless burger was quite plain but tasted fine. Nothing like how the picture in the menu looked. That was almost a misrepresentation. My friends very much enjoyed their selections. The clam chowder & fish tacos got special praise for being delicious.

Great food. Service was perfect. Oysters were very good. There is additional parking on the south side as I found out after waiting for a spot in front of the restaurant. You can park on the north side too when the office building is closed.

Soup and Salad! The best conch chowder the best mahi mahi Caesar salad the best key lime pie. If you're a local you know this!

The half and half soup was delicious. I also had the baked clams as an appetizer. Laid back atmosphere and great food. Great customer service. Highly recommend. Not far from the airport.

Every time we are in Fort Lauderdale, One of our stops is here to have some conchfritters and baked clams. They are the best.

This restaurant has great ratings on yelp so we decided to come and try it. We walked in and were instructed to seat ourselves. Our waitress was waiting on 8 tables, it took her a while to bring just about anything. I ordered a dozen oysters, the oyster shucker who brought out my order was sweating profusely from his forehead, his sweat was dripping onto my order. Everything but 2 items on the menu was fried. I ordered the mahi mahi, nothing special about it. I would not come back here.
