A Fort Lauderdale staple! Great for a late night boating stop. Amazing oysters from all over the country. They only serve beer and wine. Love Raw Bar. If you like sea food and haven't been there. I highly recommend it.
Favourite hole in the wall to share a pitcher of beer over steam clams or BBQ oysters with just about anybody. Consistent over the last 12 years I've been going. A fort Lauderdale must see.
The Mahi mahi tacos were good. I had them blackened
Excellent fresh seafood. Oysters, shrimps, clams.. amazing! Love that they're open late. I don't care about service AT ALL. I'm all about food quality. This place has the best
Enjoyed lunch on the deck. Service was efficient and the food wad good.
A bit off the beaten path, so it is a low key gem for locals. The deck on the water is sunny and relaxing. The service was very friendly and attentive despite a full house. The prices are a good value. Fresh seafood options are abundant.
Our favorite seafood restaurant for casual dining. Repeat visit. Love the outdoor deck facing the canal. Bought tshirts. Best to avoid prime dining hours. They get busy!
Awful service. Some of the patrons are so drunk and won't leave their tables. Hence having us wait for a table of 6 for 45 minutes. Never again!!!
Been going there for over 30 years, always great!!!!
Best Raw oysters ever. They even serve the cocktail sauce with an extra side of horseradish! Exactly the way it should be. Mussels are great too...they serve you a whole bowl in either red wine or white or both. Servers are down to earth. I fly to fort lauderdale and eat there every chance I get.
My sister and I sat at the bar and we had Tally, was the BEST experience. Such great hospitality, food came quick, and drinks were cold. Definitely will be coming back and asking for her, 10 out of 10 experience!!
First time in, late night on a Wednesday. Low key local joint, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Great spot to grab a lite beer and some conch fritters (which we did order) and not have to pay like a tourist.
Family loves it but we had to wait over an hour for our food. Food was good, nothing special. Nice location
FRESHEST FISH IN SOUTH FLORIDA!!!! BUT PARKING REALLY SUCKS !!! :(
Great Seafood Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale area...with great prices!
Then peel and eat shrimp and that blackened mahi get me Everytime, and it's been a year now they got their liqour license.this place is always packed cause you know it's good, have a great meal with an intercoastal view.support your locals
My favorite spot in all of south FL. The grilled oysters are 10/10
Don't have to sacrifice quality for price. Amazing crab legs in a low key chill environment
Paul is the best bartender. Super nice attentive you can't ask for anything more.
Went here because it was close to the airport. The reviews said it was good but our experience was pretty bad. Terrible service and dirty. Tables was sticky and the musty smell inside. Didn t even get our water. Had to ask for it after we went through half of our meal. The oysters that I got was subpar and drenched with salt. Meh..the only thing good was the view..if you get a seat outside that is.
Glad we found this place. Shrimp an oysters were real nice conch salad was good too. Saw a manatee while there went back third day in town.
Great locals place been going there for over 20 years! I always recommend to my out of town clients to be sure to stop in!
The food was nothing fancy but decent. I thought the breaded seafood was fine though a bit similar to what you can get in the frozen section at the grocery store. The atmosphere was unique and eclectic, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
A big cockroach under the table ..terrible . Bad experience.
Excellent raw oysters! Grilled ones are good too. Fish and chips are quite tasty and if you sit out back you're on the intercoastal canals. It's a dive on purpose...don't let that fool you
Great waiter real friendly atmosphere the best grilled oysters.
One of my favorite little hideouts to go to great food nice view good people always have a good time
This is a good hole in the wall. Fast service and good food...reasonable prices too.
Really nice seafood selection and a fun atmosphere.
The sub-par service needs to catch up to the great food!
Freshest oysters in town. Awesome views. Staff could be friendlier and more helpful and it's beer and wine only
Such a typical Florida seafood and raw bar with a great vibe. I had a grouper sandwich and a few beers. It was as expected, great. You cannot beat the location, atmosphere and food from an original local seafood restaurant and bar. Sit near the back for water views.
This restaurant has also been here from the 70s Always get the Steamers & Clam Chowder old school google earth historic land mark kickback dining.
Great spot for oysters. Back hostess was a bit rude but the food is good!
Great dive bar. Good hang out in the middle of a stupid expensive area. Cheap beer, awesome oysters, great atmosphere!
The best shellfish, Local fish and Great Bugres and Brew in ForLiquorDale!!!
This place is great. Food was very good as was our service.
Food was average. Service was not good. Too many smokers. Avoid if you have respiratory issues.
Locals love this place. Now that I'm local, I love it too. The only place I go for my oyster fix. Get an outdoor table on the canal!
Food is so good. Everything we have eaten we have loved!!!
Fast service, delicious food, friendly staff. Win, win, win!
I only gave 2 stars because everyone was very friendly. However the food had no seasoning. I had the Fried cob sandwich and the batter was plain. My father had the fish and chips and batter was plain no flavor. My stepmother had the baked oysters from the Gulf and they were to salty.
May I suggest adding seasoning to the batter for fried foods. Also the choice of sides aren't so great.
Nothing super special about anything we ordered. C food maybe C minus. Conch fritters good, but they need a better dipping sauce, grilled oysters ok but not awesome. Asked the waitress about the soup of the day and she said "we're out, so it's not like it matters." When asked what clams are steamed in, she says "water." Can I get some butter, garlic, wine... geez any flavor? Yes... but it adds a dollar to the bill. No vegetarian options for burgers or sandwiches. Small salad only veggie thing on the menu. Conch chowder tomato base and super spicy. Fried catfish very thin with tons of breading. Lackadaisical waitress never asked about more drinks and refilled water only after several requests. Maybe a bad day, maybe not worth the hype.
Really nice outdoor patio with great menu. Super chill locals place highly recommended.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, great staff. I will definitely visit every time I'm in the area
Excellent local bar and restaurant. Great, fresh seafood and friendly staff make it a worthwhile visit.
I mainly go for takeout. Haven't dined in. So far, it is good and consistent comfort food. The chargrilled oysters and Old Bay shrimp are my favorites!! Will dine again.
If you like the local dive place then this may be what you are looking for. I think they need to update their bar menu. Not everyone likes coronas and merlots. Also, the oyster shuck station needs to be updated and maintained properly.
Awesome place. Laid back. Go relaxed and ready to eat. Family friendly. Sunday s are packed. Their oysters are great and Bay shrimps delicious. Have been going with family for over 20 years.
Great atmosphere & awesome seafood..love tgat "Chowda"
An old standby but nothing to shout about. Small, noisy, typical greasy spoon. Mostly fish entrees and small bites. Bar. Dockside seating generally smells like diesel when boats are arriving or leaving.
I really like this place. I love sitting on the water to eat. The food is unpretentious real food: fish and chips, burgers, wings, and of course raw and steamed seafood. The oysters are always fresh and are a good price. The servers here are efficient and friendly.
Love the fresh seafood, and the great vibe, low key spot to get away and have great food. Price are reasonable
Booyah! Our pirate water tour guide suggested this place. Couldn't of been happier with the atmosphere and food!
Kind of a dump and loud. But was popular... Surprisingly expensive
One of my favorite spots. Food is delish, music is good, people are awesome, views are beautiful!
Food is consistant. Doing the social thing. Good place to check out.
I love this place but the food needs a slap in the face. You have 5 or 6 ppl cooking the food every night. Update the menu with a few items that are current.
Have been enjoying the outside dining for 35 years!
Local dive bar/restaurant...ate at the bar can not say I felt welcome by gruff bar tender, food ok. Would only go back w/a group & we ate outside. Inside dirty, old, unattractive 2me
Love the Old Bay Shrimp, always a spot I need to check out when in town
Very good oyster, burgers on the grill, soups and more
Good services and atmosphere
