I have skiied here for many revolutions of the planet around our star and it continues to be one of the province's better resorts. Good variety of terrain from beginner to expert. Great place to shoot the chutes in that sweet Okanagan pow pow.

I'm a beginner and I enjoyed all the green runs here. My bf is more advanced and liked to ski between the skinny trees. It seemed they had lots of ski lessons and group touring for all levels. Really reassuring to see the ski patrol at slow zones on the green runs. If you're sick of skiing, it looked like they had ice climbing, a tube park, and skating as alternative activities, but I didn't partake. Day lockers in the lodge were in the basement and the fastest way to get down is to amble down precariously in ski boots, which is inconvenient.

Great mountain: fun runs with plenty of rollers and side hits that offer something for all ability levels. Not a crazy steep mountian by Canadian standards but trees are nicely spaced and there are many chutes and cliffs to keep the experts challenged. Add to all of that a great lift infrastructure and a ton of on mountian accommodation and you have one of my favourite places to ride. This would be five stars if it wasn't so crowded on the weekends; a victim of its own success.

Had Great time Falling 15 times while learning to ski for the first time, if I'd give advice it would be: be generous with your shoe size. I had a ski boot pair 1 size too small and it left me in agony for 2 days. They also sell ski lift passes (GET THEM) that help a lot, nobody wants to walk up a mountain. They have onsite lessons with the jolliest Australians with the option of a warm meal near the parking lot.

It's a great resort with restaurants and pubs all over. Ski in and ski out hotels and chaletts for you to stay.
Great snow base with the best spring skiing begging around march. Fluffy snow and worm weather making it possible to sky in a hoodie or just a t-shirt around that time of the season.

This is a great place to spend a couple of days playing in the snow. We went snowshoeing and it's so peaceful and quiet. The village is a nice place to walk around and grab a drink and a bite, and there are lots of family friendly activities!

I have always felt welcome at Big White. Have never had one issue in the 5 years I have been coming. World-class. It can be foggy sometimes but it will toughen you up and sharpen your senses. Perfect boarding mountain in my opinion.

Great place to ski, many amenities, great snow. Village stores are a bit pricey (to be expected) and if a lift goes down, as it did when we were there, you can get stranded waiting for a shuttle to take you back to civilization (aka the less remote lifts). Will go back again but will stay more centralized because we lost over an hour ski time.

Great family resort.

Great family resort.
While some may call it an intermediate mountain, it may be one of the toughest intermediates out there.
It's beautiful. The village is mostly ski-in/ski-out. However, gets foggy often, which limits the visibility significantly.

The snow at Big White is spectacular and the Hill has enough runs to spread out people.
Some lifts can be congested at peak times (Boxing Day, New Year s Day). The village is small, but has lots of accommodations and a decent amount of restaurants and amenities.

We went on a hiking scavenger hunt during the summer of 2017. It's quite nice with expensive views of the lake and gorgeous mountain and alpine scenery. The downhill biking trails were just put in so we will try that next year.

So much fun! They have so many different activities here. My family comes here to skii all the time.

We came skating the other day for the first time & it was great. It s free if you have your own skates, but they also offer skate & helmet rentals. The ice is good & they have fire pits so you can warm up. It s a cheap option if you want to come up to Big White & be in the sun. You can play hockey or just skate around & do your own thing.. & even on the weekend it wasn t too busy.
It was a blast & we will definitely be back.

This place is amazing in the summer and it is virtually empty. I don't think people around here realize that there is more to this place than just skiing. Take the family as there are good deals to be had.

We loved our 10 day visit to Big White. While the visibility wasn't the best, it snowed consistently every day which provided great skiing conditions. We stayed on the mountain - it was easy to get to around the village and there were plenty of stores to visit and quality places to eat out. I'll be back!

We visited for Spring break, and our whole family enjoyed it. Wide and varied terrain for all levels. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would also like to give a shout out to our mountain host that took us out on a tour of the mountain showing us a number of runs as we were new to the mountain. There were also a lot of fun things to do with the family in the evenings after skiing. Particularly at the Happy Valley Lodge, where you could play trivia night, bingo and name that tune.
