We love big kahunas and are season pass holders but half the park was closed. Not just half the park but the best slides. We drive 3 hours one way for the "coast largest water park" for disappointment

Pretty fun place for the entire family. $5 parking. Prices on food and day passes are kinda high so dig and find the season passes.. You CANNOT bring food in the park.. but you are allowed to get a hand stamp to go to you car and renter the park..so bring a cooler to snack on items from home. The season passes are Totally worth it and are about the equivalent of a day pass price wise. They have lockers for your stuff.. Small $11 up to $15 for large which is great for like two large bags ..example.. I had a backpack with a family of 4 clothes shoes n such plus a cousins large tote with stuff for 6 people. Dont forget to wear sunscreen!!

Nice place to spent the day with the family. Get the season pass and if you go twice you are already ahead price wise. Get there early , bring water shoes there isn't a lot of shade areas and the concrete gets hot. Also food is pricey and parking lot fills up fast. So my advise bring some food keep it in on a cooler in your car and grab it when hungry. The have lockers for rent to keep your valuable the cost is about $11 per day. Also getting tubes to go on the lazy river slides are really hard to get .

This is the worst money I've spent in Florida! Half of the attractions were closed, concessions were expensive and lines were long. I can't express enough how horrible our experience was I will never throw money away on this dump again. Stay away!

Season passes for the whole family?! Why not! Besides the beach, this is our go-to place to entertain the kids all summer. They never seem to tire from it and always have a great time! I can never get enough of the beautiful rock waterfall landscape, and can't believe the season passes are about the same price as a summer membership to the local pool!

Worst water park ever. Don't let the 44 attractions fool you. It's really 5 slides. (1 which was closed) and a lazy river. Not to mention it was 80 dollars for just two people. A small locker was 11 dollars. The drinks were flat. The food was overpriced. It was truly a regret and waste of money.

Super over priced, I really can't believe they actually charged full price for only being at the park for 45 minutes. We were unaware they closed at 6PM, the lady working the front gate taking the payments didnt even let us know they were closing that soon. $107 for 2 people for a whole 45 minutes. I know where I won't be going again! It would had been nice to have them at least cut the price in half!

The staff is terrible! They do not enforce any height restrictions for inner tube rides, and have no concern for your safety. I was going down one of the bigger raft rides when a little girl, a stranger to me, was screaming and bawling as she started to slip through the tube. She was terrified. Her father had accidentally floated ahead, and the staff did nothing to help. I ended up helping her out of the ride, and the staff member refused to let me stay with her. I had a hard enough time convincing him to let her off the ride in the first place. I left the park immediately after. It left such an impression on me that I'm never going back.

To boot, the prices are ridiculous and the rides are very lackluster. The parking lot is sandy, which would be fine were it not covered in thorns and weeds.

I normally go to Big Kahunas every summer, but today's visit was horrible! After spending about $80 in admission, $5 for parking, and $12 on a locker rental, we were expecting a fun afternoon. My husband and I were shocked to find out that most of the slides/attractions were closed! This place isn't all that big to begin with, so when you pay such a hefty admission, one would expect to take full advantage of the parks attractions. Either open the water park fully or don't open it at all. If people are worried about social distancing from the pandemic, then don't go to a water park! Admission should be half priced if half the rides are closed, and parking should be free!
A lot of things need a good cleaning/upgrade as well. Most of the tubes were too flat to use, and alot of their handles were broken off. The lockers look like they've never been cleaned. The curtains in the changing stalls were too short, so you are exposed. There were hangers, fire ants, stickers, and trash littering the bathrooms and changing areas as well. The floors in the lazy rivers and wave pools are extremely rough and chipped up. The little brown stone building where the " Hammerhead" slides are smells like sewage and had garbage all over the place. Again, with such high admission, cleanliness where people are swimming should be a given! Also, the concrete and steps get SUPER HOT. There really should be sprinkler systems or workers spraying the walking paths/stairs every so often so people don't burn their feet waiting/walking. Big Kahuna's used to be nice little park, and now it's just a falling apart rip-off.

Some decent slides. More like two small water parks separated by large hill and many stairs. Worst layout I have ever seen. If any mobility limits, stay away. Snack bar was badly understaffed with only two windows open. Prices was too high for what you get in return and then have to pay $10 to get out of parking lot.

Pros- had a blast and got a good workout in!
Cons-Staff is not happy to be there. They would not me bring my own water bottle in. Don't buy food, bring a cooler and go in and out to eat and drink.

I thought they would have more slides, but they didn t. My friends and I pretty much just stayed in the lazy river. The food was awful and overpriced. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, which was cold and the breading was coming off the chicken so it tasted like mush. Probably won t be back.

Expensive trip but fun for the kids if they've never been. Can cover the whole park in 4 hours and then you may start to get bored. No outside food or drinks allowed. Must buy their overpriced food and drinks inside. Have to rent a locker to store your belongings. Lifeguards dont speak English. Tourist trap really.

Upon entering the facility, we approached the stand where you pay for parking. We tried making conversation with the guy in the stand and he seemed like he really didn t want to be there. We made our way to the stand to purchase tickets and were greeted with a girl that appeared to be upset with everyone that she talked to, very rude. Once inside, we noticed there were a couple of rides closed which were the funnest ones. Beer was very expensive $6.25 each, but the girl behind the bar was super nice. She told us it was her last day, I m guessing that s why she was a lot more friendly than everyone else. Most of the rides hurt your back if you lay down due to each section of the slides. The entire facility was very dull looking and could definitely use a paint job. They shut it down and made everyone get out of the lazy river at 4:30 even though they don t close until 5:00. First and last time coming here and did not have a very fun experience especially after paying $50.00 per person.

I'd give another star, maybe two but key items must be addressed first:

1) SPEED UP the membership process!

2) either raise the QUALITY of the food or REDUCE your prices

3) REGULARLY CLEAN your restrooms!! Seriously, people are barefoot in there. Disgusting.

Get on the water slid that is the fastest you can move. End up splashing cars along the roadway that Are driving by. One guy had his window rolled down as I approached the end of the slide, water from my splash landing went into his vehicle. What a blast, great, place to look off.

Terrible customer service and rude. My mother in law fell bad due to slippery floors and they acted like she should have just sucked it up and were annoyed to file a accident report. Their prices are extremely over priced. Their rules change daily. Their entire kids section was closed so my kids were extremely limited. Just a waste. Should have not bought the year pass.

Worst waterpark I have ever been to by far! We spent way to much money to get here and be so very disappointed! Half of the rides/slides aren't open because they are so understaffed. One booth open for the whole park to get food and drinks, took 45 minutes to get a drink and fries. We purchased a locker and when we went back to get our belongings it would not work! The worker told me I had entered the wrong number and then checked it only to realize it was correct it just wasnt opening! I stood there for 45 minutes waiting for them to open it!!! Not worth the over priced tickets what so ever!!

Call before you go.....I googled the park, it clearly said "open" in green font, plus the schedule said open M-Sunday but "labor day hours may be different" so I spent an hour and fifteen mins driving my family there......only to find out it was closed. When I called the office and they didn't seem to even be concerned, nor bother to even offer any kind of discount for future visits.

Was very disappointed when I went on 7/14/18. Me and my son went for the first time and it was impossible to even get a tube. We were there for 3 hours trying to get a tube but everyone was hoarding them. There were so many tubes being guarded in cabanas and at their chairs that weren t even being used and so many people looking to try to get one. When asking a lifeguard where we could get a tube I was told to go fish one out of the lazy river. I asked several time and was told the same thing each time. We did not even get to enjoy half the park because we couldn t find a tube. With the amount of money you pay to just get in the park you would think you could enjoy the WHOLE thing. Also we burned our feet because every surface we walked on was scolding hot and there was little to no shade. There were no maps to show us where we were or where we were going so we were like rats walking around a maze trying to find entrances to the slides. I didn t even know where to go when we first walked in and was trying to figure out where the lockers were to put our stuff because there were no maps and no signs. Also we had to fight to find a parking space. VERY unorganized and very confusing. We left and went to the beach. I will not waste my money there again.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a water park in my life. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Spent nearly 100 dollars for two tickets just to enter the park and that price was only for two people. Did not get what we paid for whatsoever. Half the slides were closed and had to wait for a drink at concession stand for 45 minutes. I would recommend just going to the beach with your family and save yourselves the money and aggravation.

Half the park was closed. The rides that were open they were only half open. They claimed its staffing issues. They took off 7$ for admission when we had a $4 coupon already. Not worth the money but the kids had fun.

A lot of people may believe you get what you pay for.......this is not the case when it comes to Big Kahuna's water park. An expensive entry fee fetches you a very lacking and understaffed water park with a 45 minute wait just to purchase a simple drink. At least half of the slides were closed which left not much to do. You're better off taking the family to the beach or the arcade nearby.

We had an awesome time at this water park!! It s not the best if you need to take a stroller because there are a lot of stairs and not ramp access to all areas. But overall very fun for the family!!

Super thankful for the help from Mary and Josh in the Finance department. I mistakenly bought some season passes for Florida but I live in Hawaii so I sent Mary an email and she immediately put me in contact with Josh so I could get the refund. They both were super nice and professional. All the best to them. Companies need employees like them! Aloha!

Half the slides were closed none of the workers cared I was called names by kids and none of the lifeguards cared the wave pool shut off and no one told us if I can give this 0 stars I would AND THE PRICES are outrageous compared to the quality of the inside worst money spend of our life

I was very disappointed when I went. This is supposed to be a family water park, yet there are very few accommodations for those that have strollers. To get to one of the children's areas, I had to literally carry my stroller down too many stairs to count, and of course back up. It should be stated on their website that if families bring children two and under, strollers are not recommended, and seeing as how children two and under often need supplies, i.e. diaper bags, etc., this would allow potential visitors to prepare in a different way, if they choose to visit. Needless to say, it is not accommodating for those that need wheelchair access either!

My family and I went here to play mini golf and the place looked a bit rundown. The course was reasonable , there was concrete for a couple of of the holes. The reason I gave this attraction two stars was because of the music selection... I
I came here with my parents and all of us agreed that we where unsatisfied with the music . There was cursing right and left and it was all rap music. If we came here with friends , we would be embarrassed of the music selection.

This water park is average at best. There is nothing unique or different about this water park that you can t find in any other state. Plus, it s WAY over priced. It cost $150 for a family of 4 to just enter the park. It cost another $150 for a private cabana... which wasn t private, wasn t a cabana and didn t offer anything special that you couldn t just have by sitting in a public area. Most other water parks also offer 4 meals that is included with the $150 price for the cabana... but not this place. We spent an additional $80 for 4 burgers with fries and a drink. We had to ask for our waiter to wait on us and the only time we saw him was when he delivered our food. On top of all of this... there are 8 slides that are currently closed due to COVID-19... but we purchased our tickets in advance and didn t know this until we showed up to the park. The icing on the cake was when they had some poor teenager standing at the exit... trying to collect $5 from every car for the pleasure of being able to park in their dirt parking lot. For the record, I didn t stop or roll down my window... I just kept driving out. After a nearly $400 afternoon... there was no way in hell I was going to give them an extra $5 bucks for parking.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS WATER PARK!

Slides are great, food is terrible AND over priced. It was better then non stop ocean water but wouldnt pay to go back
... $310 for family of 6 AND Haon food not worth but maybe $4 bucks per meal not $10 or 11 what we paid. Wish we would of waited to eat.. burgers not cooked all the way AMD fries were barely not frozen. Lessen learned ! Bit slides were really fun!
