Clean (VERY IMPORTANT) not noisy, great shopping and dining options. Tight on the parking and limited on the amenities available(no pool) I was also missing a refrigerator. Other than that great hotel.

We a always enjoy staying at the Westfield Best Western. We are from town and and our Physicians are all reasonably local. Many important long time good friends are also local as well as Family. We had always had an positive experience with all staff. The updates are progressing well. The new showers are beautiful. The breakfast room is nicely appointed as well. We have always found the housekeeping staff to go above And beyond any issues that may have required attention, and never with any attitude, they are a pleasure to see and exchange brief words with. The front desk staff with whom we are familiar always are cordial and helpful with some specific issues that we have.I write this on behalf of my roommate Deborah Davidson and myself. Our last stay was July15-19,then up to New Providence July 20-24.

Nice clean rooms with a small kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Continental breakfast was more robust than expected and offered a good selection of meal options. The staff was attentive and informative.

Room was nice and spacious. Bed was comfy. Had what I needed. The room walls/floors seemed not sound proofed enough(Heavy walking was heard from above, as if you would hear in an older house).Breakfast was plentiful when I was able to be present. The second night I had to leave very early in the morning, so I asked for the "breakfast go bag", which was offered to me. The breakfast "GO bag" idea was a good one, but maybe they could have put a bit more in there(there was just a bottle of water and a small three count breakfast biscuit cookies).

This was the most expensive Motel with the least amount of amenities that I have ever stayed in. The hotel was built in the 70s and feels like it comes from the 70s. Their free breakfast is the worst that I have ever experienced. Nothing seemed fresh. The bananas were black, the bagels and pastries were hard and dry, and the second day they were out of breakfast potatoes because, they simply ran out! Although, there were very few people having breakfast!

As a first-time guest at this location I was very impressed. Excellent front desk service the associate Miss Amanda Purvis is by far the most professional associate that Best Western Hotels could ever have.

I must commend Best Western for improving the interior and the decor of their properties our room was spectacular. Excellent decor well-appointed everything immaculate free Wi-Fi free early morning breakfast at a great price I highly recommend and if I'm in town again definitely I will stay at this property.

BW - Westfield was great! Very friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms. The building is a little older, but added to the charm of the Westfield Village. Free breakfast quality was also surprisingly good. Steps from many great shops & restaurants.

We stayed for one night as we were in town for a funeral. Upon arrival while driving into the property, we noticed a large amount of debris left outside in the parking lot, blocking parking spots. This debris was due to ongoing renovations. The room we were assigned was one of the renovated rooms. The room was in fair condition, with new flooring and the bathroom was okay. The new wallpaper in the bathroom was covering some large imperfect indentations/damage and was poorly done. The ceiling in the bathroom was stained and peeling. I was very disappointed that our TV did not work. It turned on but you could not change the channel. We called the front desk and they tried troubleshooting by disconnecting the cable box for 30 seconds. That didn t work. So, we paid over $150 for the room and had no tv.
I will say there was a young lady who initially checked us in. She was pleasant and very nice to deal with. had it not been for her, our rating would have been even lower.

The location of the hotel is great - near shops, restaurants and the train to NYC. The rooms are on the small side and beds too hard. The staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

We liked our stay at this hotel. The location is great with many restaurants and stores within walking distance. It's also close to the train station. The room is spacious, and the bed super comfortable. The staff is welcoming at the front desk. The bathroom decor has been updated and is attractive. We were very pleased with our stay here, and look forward to staying here again.

I stayed at the Westfield Inn while interviewing for a job nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The cookies at the front desk were a nice touch and a welcome snack after a long day. The room itself was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. I was not familiar with the area and the front desk staff was more than happy to provide suggestions for local spots to eat dinner that were close enough to walk to. I would definitely recommend the Westfield Inn to anyone visiting the area.

Fresh cookies in the lobby on check in. Eggs, bacon and toast in the morning. Clean sheets and shower in between. The circumstances under which I was required to spend a night at this location may have been stressful and moral destroying, but the experience under Best Western' roof were a pleasant respite.

We were not told that the hotel was going through renovation and therefore when we arrived we saw that the floors were dirty, so the elevator and the concierge. When we arrived there was no one at the reception to greet us, in fact there was no reception at all. At first I thought we got the wrong door. It didn't look like a hotel at all (picture attached). After making a bit of loud calls, a very nice lady showed up half asleep. She politely gave us the key for our room. The key was not programmed properly so I had to do couple trips to "reception" to fix it. It supposed to be a three star hotel, however the rooms were small, the bathroom sink didn't work. The hallway was noisy and loud. The kids had difficult time to fall asleep. The price for the room was higher because it included breakfast. However when I request about the breakfast the lady told us due to covid they have cancelled the breakfast.

Great location however can hear the trains, which didn't bother me. Everything was in walking distance, loved the whole area. Plus I had a room with a fridge and stove helped since I was there a week.

Nice small hotel convenient to charming town of Westfield, NJ, within walking distance to a Lord & Taylor, many restaurants, nice smaller stores, an all-purpose pharmacy/gift shop, Trader Joe's and train service to NYC. Presently being renovated. Paper plates and cups in breakfast room unsatisfactory and makes one think of a fast-food outlet. Very helpful desk staff who printed directions for me to go to other places in the area.

The most outdated hotel I have stayed in in years.. The bathroom is from the 1950's.. If you are at all handicapped and need a grab bar -- forget about it, they put it on the outside of the shower... The shower has no power and it is a nightmare to wash your hair. Go to a hotel that has arrived into the 21st century... This sure isn't it..............

The best hotel in the county.

I have stayed many times over the years. You have made a couple of changes that will prevent me from returning. The first the minimum air conditioning setting was changed to 70 degrees. It's too hot! Your previous minimum was 62 degrees. 70 degrees makes us uncomfortable and affected our sleep. The second is that you are now understaffed. Three you are skimping on breakfast.

The hotel was a little hard to find as sign on front is small. The location to restaurants and shops was great!!!! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was at a premium which was a drawback. Would stay there again.

Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in the door the front desk associate George was so friendly! The room had more than we could ask for with a kitchen and robes in the closet. Breakfast was amazing as Lorraine was extremely accommodating with GLUTEN and DAIRY FREE items! Offering to make me gluten free pancakes and waffles! Talk about over the top! They even offer passes to the local YMC. This place is perfectly located in downtown Westfield. So It's a 2 second walk to great restaurants and shopping. I can't wait to come back here!

Poor excuse for a hotel. The town is beautiful but this hotel is a disgusting eye soar on that community. We stayed at the hotel for three days and for three days we had no hot water. Mind you we filled the hotel for a family event. Our room also was next to a room they were doing construction on. We heard constant knocking, banning, screwing, drilling etc. Between the hours of 6a-12p and than again from 5p-9p. When we brought up this up to management we were met with excuses and no resolution. We finally got to leave this morning from this hell hole. The only decent part was the continental breakfast. If you're willing to spend over $500 for no hot water and construction, by all means check this place out.

Myself and Husband stayed here the weekend of June 18-21 at this Beautiful Establishment for our 34th Wedding Anniversary. It was exactly what we needed. Surrounded by Beauty, Peace and Tranquility, we expressed our reason for being there and we got the VIP Treatment, thanks to the staff at the front desk for being so kind and Professional. We really had a Blast!

First and foremost, get black out curtains. The room we were given faces a very nearby building that had lights on in rooms facing ours until late at night. Sheer curtains let in all light. The decorative curtains do not close to block out light. This is a huge oversight to guest comfort and would not be that expensive to correct with new curtains or, pull down shades installed.
Decor is out dated including the front desk area. Carpet in room appeared in good condition but had a "sticky" feel to it in bare feet.
The price for the room was quite high for the quality unfortunately we had no choice as we live nearby and our a/c broke that day and the Best Western in Westfield was the only hotel nearby with a room available. I would not purposely book this hotel otherwise, nor would I recommend based on the price vs the quality of accommodations.
Having said that, the bed was fairly comfortable and pillows were adequately supportive. Room was very clean also and considering how close to the railroad tracks this room was, extremely quiet at night. Personnel were professional and pleasant.

Decent but no where comparable to other Best Western I stayed. I think the location of this hotel makes it a choice but it took lot of time to reach here. I had to opt for this as other Best Westerns were all booked...so I understand this is the least choice of many and I was able to book this in the last minute. Parking is available is only good thing

Small but more than adequate hotel in adorable town. Great central location, many resto choices within walking distance. No gym but guests can work out at nearby YMCA. Friendly and very helpful front desk staff.
