Great staff and good embience for business and hanging out!

Had a late flight and checked in after 9 pm,didn't go to the room right away as I had a dinner with friends,so when I got back my room was not clean I had dirty towels all over the washroom and the bedding was all over the room,I don't think the manager did enough to keep me as a client,I won't be going back

Room was very dated, air con made a lot of noise but beds (which is most important) were good. We had chosen this hotel close to the airport so as not to have to drive too long after a long flight and the fact that they had a nice pool. The children enjoyed themselves and swam the jet lag away. The breakfast was super good, extensive and delicious! Hotel is definitely recommended for families with children!

The hotel was clean and staggering were very helpful and friendly. The cot we ordered for an extra bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable. The tourism fees attached to every little thing in the hotel were high and made everything a lot more expensive.

The children were very happy about the pool after the Canada tour. The staff is friendly and courteous.

For the kids the room with direct pool access was a highlight. But if you are sensitive to noise, you have to note that you hear the bathing guests from 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock in the evening and then the water overflow from the pool.

I therefore recommend noise sensitive people a room facing away from the pool :-)

My kids would always request Port O'Call as they love the water park here. Friendly staff as well!

Business sees me in Calgary almost weekly. I am a fan of the Port O Call. The night shift Manager, Mo is a star and always ensures I am looked after.
The rooms are great, the staff are fantastic, the Pub is well run, the Restaraunt staff and leadership
have gone over and above to accommodate my needs, tight schedule.
You won t find better, and if there is an issue it will be addressed promptly Ins courteously.

Fantastic hotel. We had an awesome adjoining room with my mother. And it was really well set up. Kids loved the waterslides!

Location was perfect, the kids enjoyed the water park. Rooms were clean. Pool side rooms were a bit dated.

We would (and will) gladly stay there again when our family comes back to town. They even provided us with a crib for our 2 year old free of charge!

The restaurant is good. They do a lunch buffet that is very good. It is around $25 a person which is not cheap but it is very good.

Great stay! The water park was very enjoyable. However, the AC in the room didn't work very well..

This hidden gem is amazing. We got moved from the Sheraton cavalier as their watermark was suddenly down (main reason we planned to stay there), so we found this place. The waterslides, pools, hot tubs are very modern and enjoyable. Price is amazing , with a prepaid family breakfast buffet ($30) & heated underground parking for no charge. Last thing that really made our stay great, the service is unbelievable. Lots of follow up calls, kids are allowed in the lounge... too much to go on and on about, just try them out!!

Really liked this place. Great room with comfortable bed, friendly welcoming staff, and food and prices in restaurant we're both wonderful. Look forward to going back

Kids loved the water park! Good was good. Hotel was nice and clean.

I arrived late for my meeting but thanks to wonderful staff especially Angela that acted fast to send me the shuttle and then in order to save me time took me directly to my room and accompanied me back to the meeting room. Great job and pleasant stay!

But due to low occupancy apparently it takes 10-15 minutes for the water to warm up, which is unfortunate because I tried to run a bath in the jacuzzi at 10pm and it wouldn t work so I just cut my loss and went to bed. In the morning still nothing, same with the steam shower, not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to been informed at check in. This review was basically just to make sure future travellers know in advance. I ve been a hotel receptionist so I understand things can get missed. It was a nice stay.

The best western port o call in is are favorite place to stay every time we come to calgary. They are always friendly, and eager to help. The buffet breakfast is always good with great service. The kids love the pool. We always have a great time. Thanks bw

Mo and his team provide top notch customer service.
They handled our multiple booking with ease and made sure we had a special stay.
There is a reason that this is our first choice for our family Christmas!

We always stay here when we fly out of Calgary. The rooms are great. Being able to park underground especially in winter and being able to leave your car while you travel is great.

Had a short stay at the Port-O-Call Best Western in Calgary. Must say that I am always impressed with the staff at all locations that I visit in Alberta. On this visit Ashley was very personable, pleasant and professional. They always make me feel that my business is appreciated. Never stay at any other hotel unless they are not available.

The Best Western Port O'Callbis a good family hotel. We had fun using the water slide facilities, though the weekend we stayed at the hotel was extremely busy. The pool was so full that every direction you turned you'd get bumped by a kid. The pool was so full that the water turned murky, and remained that way even when we returned to the pool the next morning when there were less people..so there may have been something wrong with the filtration system. This made the water park seem very dirty and less end our enjoyment of the pool.
The rooms were clean, although they are in need of an upgrade, as the decor is not modern and the tiled floors were cracked and unappealing. I think the only time we'd come back is if it was a non weekend, so that we could enjoy the facilities more.

Clean rooms, close, convenient location to the airport. Very friendly staff that will go out of their way to resolve any issues you may run across.

Verry nice place , underground parking available , room was nice and had a nice view . Rooms were quiet and bed was comfortable and had an amazing bathtub !!!!!!!!!!

We had our bowling banquet held there last night, staff very friendly & the food was amazing, can't wait to do it again next year

This is a beautiful hotel located just off McKnight. It has multiple restaurants, coffee bar , and snack machines throughout. The staff is top notch. The best part about this hotel is their water park. The water park features two slides two hot tubs and a kids area. Best hotel for kids , we loved it and have been back to this hotel multiple times. Great work .

This place was amazing! Very nice! Underground parking, very secure, nice pool, friendly staff, rooms were clean. I am very impressed with this hotel and the friendliness of everyone who works here. My and my boyfriend will definately be back

Staff is always so welcoming and ensure your needs are met being away form home. Food at the pub is very tasty and staff are nice. Only downfall is the gym is lacking in equipment but the space is large enough to add more machines/weights.

Family wedding at this hotel. We arrived from Poland, Sask and BC. The nuptials were to take place outside. The weather looked questionable. It was later that we noticed the hotel had taken it upon themselves and also set up inside in case we had to come indoors. The wedding meal was truly a tasty feast. The hotel staff were prepared for our large group in every aspect. Staff were genuinely friendly and professional in the same breath. We were well taken of.

Quite a hotel! Extremely friendly reception upon arrival, easy check-in, and the rooms were clean and ready once we were upstairs.

The waterpark is easily the biggest attraction of the property, with two huge waterslides, two jacuzzis, and a very nice kiddie pool area with a waterslide of its own. Our stay was only overnight for an AM flight out of the airport, and the pool is where we spent the entire time there until it closed at 10.

It's a bit of an odd duck arrangement in the lobby with a couple of small businesses right there in the same space. Gives it a sort of mini-mall feel. There is an underground parking garage, but with a very low clearance. The door to the garage was broken on the morning of our departure, and I had to get the front desk attendant to have someone open it manually in order to escape and make our flight. A small thing, but unexpected still.

A bit further from the airport than led to believe as well, but still within 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Not perfect, but the waterpark goes a long way towards making it a great family hotel for a night in Calgary.

Check in was good. Room was renovated. Shower barely had any hot water. TV cable reception wasn't working at all. Pool was nice for the kids but cold.

Incredible service! Polite staff from the moment you enter! All amenities you desire! The room was spacious and spotless! Brought meals in using room service- very quick service! The burger ordered from Jets not a fake patty but best burger around- all the fresh toppings accented this large burger!accompanie with fries-sauce and pickles! Deep fried dilll pickles to die for and great value for the $! Very quiet place and relaxing! Give this place and staff a 10+. Awesome place!

Waterpark was awesome. My children are enjoying it tremendously! Room service has been delicious and fast. Room is super clean, spacious and the king size bed hopefully will enjoy some great snuggles. So far my stay has been great and the staff is super friendly and accommodating..

We had a large (very very large! 40+ people large) Family reunion and the fantastic staff here accommodated us with everything. The care taken to make sure our family was comfortable and happy was tremendous. Never at any time did we feel like a burden or an inconvenience (though knowing me and my family we most certainly we're both of these) all the staff were smiling and more than helpful, any time we had a problem or needed assistance they were kind and quick in finding a solution and lending a helpful hand. I can't sing their praises enough! Thank you thank you thank you!

While not the newest or shiniest hotel around the staff and variety of services and amenities will ensure you have a relaxing and pleasant stay. The staff is always ready to help out and always friendly!

If you are flying this is definitely the best option for stay in Calgary.. especially with kids or small groups.

This was a great place all around for our group of lacrosse girls. The rooms where clean the staff was more then helpful to us all as a group. Food was good and the pool was a NICE TREAT.

We had one of the pool side rooms and our kids loved it. Being able to go back and forth to the waterslides made for an excellent experience. I will definitely come back in the future.

It's an old place but managed well. Big indoor pool with water slides. Great for small kids.
