Great rooms and service but the head board fell down at one point during the night...other then that it was a great experience and I will likely go back but check the headboard before going to sleep
I was there for the pool. It was a pretty cool pool.
The rooms are very clean and tidy, my kids love the pool, we did the breakfast buffet and the selection was huge! Had the supper buffet(pizza and pasta) and it was horrible very little to choice from and very expensive! (Lesson learned) we would definitely say here again when we are in the area
Nice hotel with good dining options in house and a great waterpark.
This is a full service 5-star hotel. We're been staying here for 10 years and they continue to improve all the time. Recently tried their AM buffet as a Gluten free eater and was pleasantly surprised with all the items I was able to have. The server brought me toast, pancakes and a muffin plus all the other items in main buffet. VERY IMPRESSED plus it only cost $30 for our family of 4 plus we left our server a tip.
The beds are very comfortable. I always tip housekeeping because I know how hard it is to clean after my family and appreciate them. Front desk very helpful and of course the pools are a great big hit with the kids. Thanks BW we'll be back.
My sister rented a room for her sons bday, for two nights. The staff were quite attentive and the room was clean. We had guests over for a meal and to swim with us so we missed the turn down service and the cleaning staff was nice enough to remove all of the towels and provide us with extra amenities.
Hotel had very friendly staff, and room was nice and clean. The waterpark was lots of fun, but got very busy by 4:00pm. Pleasant stay overall, would recommend to families with children.
Just got home from a stay here. The hotel was clean and pool was great for our kiddos. But mostly the staff was so wonderful! We surprised my mother in law for her birthday & the staff was beyond accommodating and helpful. Kavish even delivered a cake to the room for the celebrations on the hotel! We were so impressed by the friendliness of the staff!
They were excellent at accommodating a large group.
Went for dinner with my parents who were staying in the hotel. It was great food slow service though. The hotel is really clean and fairly quiet though it was very nice.

Bring wheeled luggage because they are short on luggage carts. This hotel was extremely busy when we stayed so it wasn't the best experience. It's clean and the pools are nice but I wouldn't stay here again.

Great place to lay my head on a buisiness trip. Little tiny fridge made a heck of a racket had to unplug it to sleep. It was clean. Employees were all friendly and more than approachable. Can't forget to mention my excellent top notch B-52.
Wonderful service and staff! Room was emaculately clean. Waterpark was a huge hit with the kids. And the breakfast buffet was great. I truly would recommend this hotel and go back to again.
always enjoy staying at the Best Western Plus Port 0'Call Hotel in Calgary. For the price the value is excellent, they offer many on site amenities that make my stay more enjoyable. As well the underground parking is excellent. A big thank you to the team in Calgary!

We had a great stay this weekend to celebrate my son's birthday. Rooms were clean and spacious, pool was loved by all the kids, and breakfast was hot and delicious! Would definitely return.
A stay here during family week has been a family tradition for about 10 years. Not sure if we'll come back in the future. The waterslide/pool area got crazy busy on Friday night (to be expected) but there is nothing to dampen the noise and it was overwhelming.
On the positive, the staff helping with towels and keeping it clean were very friendly.
I always stay at Best Western hotels and for New Year's we always stay at this one it's close to the location that we party at and everything at the hotel is great
Everything was excellent, no complaints. Staff was professional and courteous, my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with no odours. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with plenty of options for all diets. Highly recommend

Stayed here as part of a family reunion. They were very accommodating and helpful. The kids had a blast playing on the waterslides and in the pool. The place looks to have been recently renovated and is nice and modern. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant has a good variety of options but is not free (though itwas included in our group pricing package). We really had a good experience here.

Great hotel at an excellent price. The waterpark is an absolute draw for this hotel. I was surprised being so close to the airport that the rooms were quiet. Will stay again.
Great family location. Kids enjoyed waterside. Rooms are smallish but updated. Beds are good as well. I would not recommend for work travel, as families seem to stay here.

Lovely pool and water park. Great for kiddos. The rooms were well appointed, however the hallways were in need of repair. Our room was missing essentials such as shampoo, and while staff was helpful upon request, were not very friendly or free with information, despite knowing this to be our first visit. We were also not offered the best rate upon checking, so shop wisely before your visit.

I was sent by Best Western to three different locations that were supposed to be pet friendly and at each one I was turned away. At the third I was told to go to the Holliday Inn.
Manager of hotel is wonderful! Shuttled us personally when the other shuttle was too full. Handled all my concerns with excellent customer service. The front desk staff were excellent also!

Hotel is very clean and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The children's pool area is huge and a ton of fun. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. Check in was super fast and I loved the express check out option. Excellent hotel!!
I had an appointment at the spa in this hotel. Nail Bar and Hair Extensions! It was a beautiful hotel spa that had excellent customer service. Everything was so glamorous, shiny and clean, they definitely pampered me! My nails came out beautiful and clean will definitely be attending this spa and hotel again. Plus the restaurant food was great!
I'm Diamond Select with Best Western and don't recommend this location. Sure, they have a five star breakfast but I end up just going to Tim Hortons. I find this hotel is crowded, outdated and not well insulated for noise. The Best Western a few blocks north on Freeport Blvd is significantly better but that's reflected in their price. Port O'Call is decent when compared to other Best Westerns in Calgary but it's far from being on the 'nice list' when you compare all Best Westerns in the province; and sadly, yes I've been to them all. Check out the BW Premiere on Freeport Blvd or The brand new Hampton Inn north of the airport parking lot before making a reservation here.
Rooms and pool were great. Room service messed up our order. Kids made a mistake ordering ppv and desk couldn't do anything about it, said it was handled through a third party.
I spent 2 days at this hotel with my family first thing i woke up i found all our baby food was frozen in the fridge , so it was basically ruined the pillows were so worn out and uncomfortable. In the morning the second day we went out at 10 am after we came back there was no room service our beds were not even made. Dont recommend this hotel at all.
We were there with a work Christmas party. We enjoyed the buffet brunch. Great variety of food.
It has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and a water slide area. I was only there to join a friend for a swim. Overall it was OK the pool was a bit small and it didn't seem like people checked on it often as there were used towels everywhere.

Staff was nice, breakfast was on point.. Pool was nice tho mostly for kids, gym was alright. Hotel is close to a museum- (5min walk) and has a pub right underneath.

The food is great and there is ample parking. Located next to sport fields and close to a golf course.
Fantastic brunch, with many choices to pick from, breakfast and lunch dishes as well as fruit and desert selection, reasonably priced, definitely worth the drive to the north end of town
Clean, smart room with extras you'd expect e.g coffee machine, fridge and hair dryer. Swimming pool for adults as well as very cool slides and pool for kids. Breakfast wasn't included but reasonable price and quality and range of items available in the buffet was commendable. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Excellent. Stayed in a king room on 4th level. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Partner didn't like the pillows but I thought they were great. Pool and water park were fun, rooms had everything we needed. Airport is nearby, could hear take-off and landings, but quite quiet and actually was pretty neat to watch. Breakfast buffet was super in quality and variety, well priced. Will stay again!
