The pool is awesome for the family. Very close to Canadian North terminals for flying away to work.

Nice hotel, waterpark is a big draw. Our kids loved it. There is a smaller pool for little kids, a larger pool for bigger kids with two waterslides and two hot tubs. Near to airport if you need it. Overall a nice experience.

Gorgeous location, super nice and accomodating staff

Great for families. Have been several times. Great waterslide with a couple rooms opening directly to the pool of you desire though I always stay on the second floor. Good breakfast buffet as well for a reasonable price. Bar available. Under ground parking available.

Very happy with our stay. Kids have said this is an "epic pool and watersides!". We'll be back.

Room was nice, the restaurant had a good selection for brunch and lunch. Pool and hot tub were nice.

The hotel has 2 waterslides and 2 pools and hot tubs, it is great for large family gatherings, with young children

Room was plain, beds were quite uncomfortable, noise from passing aircraft was somewhat annoying

The rooms are clean and you're within spitting distance if the airport. The reataurant is fairely bland though.

Really nice hotel with very helpful staff! The restaraunt was delicious. My only complaint was the heat in the Strathmore room downstairs, which was QUITE warm.

Location was not that bad. Room was a little old but clean. The tub was huge which was enjoyed by my kids. Staff were very friendly!

Enjoyed the pool! Kids loved the slides! Fantastic for our 5 & 4 year olds. Room was comfortable and staff were great. Everything was very clean. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Nice selection. We'll definitely stay again.

The Port O' Call is a great hotel near the Calgary airport. If I fly in or out of Calgary, I don't even think about staying anywhere but the Port O' Call. They are simply the best!

Great place to stay. Fairly good value. Great restaurant. Great pool and fun with the kids. Good location as it's fairly close to everything. Wifi is slow in the nights. Lots of noise for about 5 minutes when the pool closes at 10 and kids are going to their rooms.
Breakfast is great with something for everyone. Lots of parking even for large vehicles which is not too common.
Very large comfortable rooms with microwave, fridge, coffee maker. No in room safe but there is a lockbox at the front desk if you are ok with that.

We will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel is amazing, staff is great. Went with coworkers for a workshop, they were pleased with the hotel and rooms. Highly recommend families to book with them as the pool is awesome

It was clean and convenient to the airport. The only thing is that there is not much parking around the hotel for the overnight guests. They offer parking for people flying from the airport, so that limits the space for people who do not use that service they provide. This is the only problem we seen and experienced on your last stay at this hotel. I think we got the last free parking space. They do offer underground parking for a fee but we choose not to use it. $12/night

Overall a very nice venue for events. Could use better signage to find specific events.

Staff was friendly and accomdating. Room was clean and tidy. Their breakfast buffet was one of the best ones I have been to.

We stayed here one snowy night - they have underground parking so it was great (beware clearance height if you have a taller vehicle you won't be able to park there). There's no free breakfast unlike other Best Western hotels we've stayed at. They have a small pool, with a slide. The kids like it but it does get very crowded. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are a decent size. Our room was clean. They have old style rooms though - meaning, not a lot of sockets to plug your phone/charger in close to the bed. The newer Best Westerns have extra plugs in the lamps. We stay at Best Westerns a lot so I notice those things. All in all, a decent hotel. Close to the airport but you won't be kept awake by planes leaving or arriving. Close to Barlow also where there are lots of restaurants. You do need a car to get around.

Room was really modern and clean. The waterpark was really fun and enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and attentive and were able to help out when we needed disposable plates for take-out that we brought it. They have discounted Telus Spark tickets for adults which was nice. Only downside was the beds were too soft for our liking which was half a star off, so 4.5 stars overall.

Great place to stay with kids. Pool area is great for younger kids with a toddler pool area with slide and older kids with a good size pool and 2 big water slides.

Not clean, old facilities , no any COVID explanation about pool when check in. Not recommend.

Great place if you have kids. You can see the waterslide from the hot tub, so just watch the kids do laps while you relax!

Decent hotel. Bit far out for tourists maybe but good if you want to be close to airport

It was for a kids birthday party. The pool for the kids was good, however the food severed was mediocre and came at different times. Some kids where waiting to long while others were done. The party size was less then 20 so the food services should have been able to handle it.

Very nice place to stay. Especially with the water slides and pool for the kids. Parts of the hotel are in renovations right now but still very clean.

Best western port o call in Calgary, is perfect for family stay.. the waterpark in hotel is excellent to spend quality time for the whole family... also the Restaurant is really good ... a very friendly & professional staff..at first we booked there by accident, we loved it there, It became our choice for family stays in Calgary ..Keep up the good work

Stayed for 3 nights with my family. Had a very comfortable stay. The Hotel is very family friendly. Their indoor waterpark was an instant hit with my toddler. The staff is very friendly, polite and accommodating. The duty manager, Robin, was very helpful and offered very practical recommendations during our stay. Will definitely go back upon next trip.

An easy 4-Star experience. I would had given the 5th star, but I did have a problem on checking out, which was resolved later that night. This is all that prevented me from giving 5 stars!

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, decent pools, the restaurant and drinks were alright. The price and deposit were fair. The mini fridge didn't work very well though and the cable channels cut out and would not work occasionally. Also you must be okay with planes landing and taking off nearby.

After having our flight cancelled and being stranded at the airport with 22 teenagers the staff at Best Western came to our rescue! The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. I can't say enough good things about the hotel's cleanliness and the waterpark is fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! I was only at the hotel in Calgary for a professional interview. It was easy to find with good parking. The hotel was well maintained and staff were courteous and helpful.

A nice water park with 2 waterslides, a splash pool, and 2 hot tubs. Definitely a great place to stay with kids!

We had a issue with the A/C in our room and once we notified the front desk, they moved us to a similar room and made the first night complimentary. The front desk staff were very friendly to us and our kids, and even gave the kids treat bags! Would defiantly come here again!

A really good hotel choice. Friendly staff, clean hotel, and good eating facilities. The pool is set up really well for kids of all ages. We'll be staying there again.

Location, Quality, Amenities & Price
Another positive 4 night stay. I use most services & all are 100%. Starting with the shuttle from the airport. Always on time. The breakfast is very complete (hot/cold) & a great starter. The room is clean & i especially like the ability to open the window. Try the new Fitness room too. Highly recommended hotel property for business travel.

We take the family to the Waves Water Park for birthdays. It's a blast!

We took our two grandkids for an overnight stay with the water slides and this was our third time doing so. "Nuff said.

Fun for the kids. I brought my three girls specifically because of the water park and they weren't disappointed. Only downfall was that their other pool(by the fitness center) was under renovation and I wasn't aware of this prior to our stay.

Turn up the heat in the pool, and they wouldnt have to heat the room to 75 degrees ... breakfast was great but should be included with the room at that price.

Great hotel .. a tad pricey compared to other best western options in Yyc .. staff is great .. after traveling all day with major delays staff helped out finding us some food delivery as it was late and the restaurant and lounge were closed ,, only one issue .. no coffee in lobby . However the sweet lady in the restaurant went out of her way to get us a couple of to-go cups at no charge .. thanks darlin

Best Western Plus Port O'Call Hotel in Calgary continues to impress me. As a business traveler I appreciate their outstanding hospitality and hotel facility and amenities. Super helpful and warm staff make me feel at home every time. I will book this particular hotel whenever I can!

Great staff, nice rooms, cool looking water park (although we didn't try it). Building is starting to show its age, notably the exterior and elevators. But a great place none-the-less. Very clean, and cant ask much more than what they offer.

This was a great hotel. For the price we paid, it was an amazing hotel. The pool and waterpark was a huge hit with the kids. The customer service was phenomenal - everyone was so polite and helpful. Restaurants were just ok. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nice, big rooms with comfortable beds. Foid in restaurants are great and they have an hourly airport shuttle.
The downside of this hotel- The cleaners dont care about the "do not disturb" signs. We were a crew of three that travelled from east to west and was in much need of rest. We all hanged the do not disturb sign on our doors. At one room the cleaners just knocked and entered without waiting for an answer while guest is relaxing in underwear on his bed. The other room which also had a do not disturb sign the cleaning team kept on knocking until the door was opened. At my room they did the same, kept on knocking until I opened. I told them I am restimg and to please leave me alone upon which they went down to reception which called me and asked when am I checking out.... I had the room booked for three days and this question was asked on my first day there. The cleaners were super annoying. The second annoying thing is children running and screaming and yelling up and down the corridors. Third annoying thing is wet people in the lifts, water dripping from them, men with exposed bellies and woman in swimwear. The hotel should make a rule that people get dressed and undressed at the pool.
The internet in this hotel is the worst I ever experienced. Its constantly disconnected, slow and generally not working properly

Very helpful and courteous staff. Checkin and check out was quick even though the hotel was busy. The breakfast is the best in Calgary and the service excellent. Well worth the visit.
