Great for families with kids! Hotel is very dated but it appears they've started renovations.

Great place for families. Amenities like the pool and underground parking for winter were well used.

Only can score on thier Sunday Brunch....trays were sitting empty sometimes at 12.30...i waited over 5 minutes for beans,,radishes,,breads,,,room maybe 3/4 full...lady server was nice ,appoligetic..Hispanic family behind us were useing the F word loudly , , some guests moved away..no staff intervined.......price 25$..

Nice and close to the airport, room was large and clean. Good food in the hotel bar. Could hear planes once in a while but overall was a great stay.

Every Easter holiday we go to the mountains, but because of terrible road conditions we were forced to stop in Calgary. We decided to stay somewhere with a swimming pool for the boy to enjoy, and found a Best Western Plus by the airport. This hotel was perfect !! I did check in with a lady by the name of Angie she was one of the nicest people i've ever met in the hospitality business, There was a mistake in our room she found us another one upgraded no charge and explained all amenities in the hotel and even called after when we arrived in our room to make sure everything was great. Angie Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful we will defintely be back ! Shannon

Nice place to stay underground parking close to airport takes airlines in payment

Clean, well managed hotel. We did not find the pools cold (as many reviews have indicated). Tried both the breakfast buffet and dinner in the lounge - both were good and offered a nice selection of items.

Rooms are standard but are well kept and common areas are well designed and nicely decorated. All staff encountered were kind, helpful and courteous. Underground parking during our stay was excellent. Drainage is poor (in the parkade) so be prepared for puddles.

The Port O Call Inn is one of the best hotels I stay at. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, it has all the amenities a hotel should have, the rates are fair and they have underground parking.

Best place to take your kids if visiting the Calgary area hands down! Okay my family and I have been going here now for years now and the hotel has made some very good upgrades to fit and finish and the internet is one of the best I know of for a hotel and did I mention the awesome water park, great steam rooms, workout room, second pool down stairs, 3rd hottub down stairs, racketball courts and on and on all for a real decent price But the real story here is the staff! First of all thank you personally to Robin and Mo for alway treating us like we are rock stars or something my kids think you guys are great and that you have a magical hot chocolate machine behind the desk. To the rest of the staff you all have great professionalism and my respect. That is front end, the restaurant staff and house keeping. The staff in the restraunt even remember what I like on my sandwich 8 month later wow. All I can say is we keep coming back for one reason it's you guys .

I was impressed with the room, however there were no robes in the room to travel to and from the room to the pool. The pool was very cold and the pool room was very cold too :( Elevators were broken, being on the 6th floor with little kids was a bummer. Breakfast buffet was tasty but very expensive. I would never go on a weekend again as its extremely busy and the staff are over-worked - you will be waiting in a line up to check out, to ask questions, waiting for a cart, no elevator to bring your luggage down. Nice place, but I am disappointed, this is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we won't be going back.

Stayed for a night in the king jacuzzi room. First room we got, 4 lights didn t work, crown moulding on the one wall was falling off, dimmer lights for the jacuzzi didn t work as a dimmer, and to top that the jacuzzi didn t even work. We were then moved to a different room which seemed better, everything worked. BUT there was a large white stain on the couch, and when we were going to sleep, the door let in enough light to light up the whole room, aswell as the peephole cover on the door wouldn t close which beamed a light perfectly into the middle of the pillow on the bed. Will not be staying again and wouldn t recommend..

The facility was great and the pool has two great water slides. Every thing is salt water and heated so just amazing. Restaurant was reasonably price and good service. Highly recommended for anyone with a family and with out. The only side note is a little airplane noise at night but not bad.

Great hotel! Very courteous staff, especially the staff at the breakfast buffet. Nice sized rooms with all the amenities. Nice kids pool area as well as another pool and hot tub adjoining the health club. I really enjoyed my stay and would return any time.

Excellent room, nice pool area, kids area was great for little ones. Overall pool space could be larger but still lots of fun.

If your planning to spend a couple days in Calgary with kids under 10 then this is the hotel of choice. Pool, location, and rooms are perfect. Zoo tix are 13 bucks too! Ask the front desk for passes

Loved, loved this hotel!! The staff was great, hotel spotless and rooms really spacious. The waterpark was a hit with all the kids, the pool, hot tub and gym, were also great for all us. Will stay here again and again. By far the best hotel we stayed at.

Lunch here for company training for the week. Saturday is a breakfast. So breakfast type food. Sunday is a brunch. they were short staffed at the time so there was no one carving the roast beef unless requested which was annoying. Food is otherwise changed every day and its been pretty good.

Very good value for the money. Friendly staff. Clean quiet hotel. Good food. We will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. My wife especially enjoyed her experience at the nail bar spa. The spa's decoration was very eye catching, and the place was very clean and neat.The staff paid detailed attention to the hygiene and sterilising their equipment. We recommend this spa for any couple that are looking for a relaxing experience and a getaway weekend.

Clean rooms and amenities. Pool area was clean and well kept. Rooms could use an upgrade and furniture update but still clean as is. Great rate!

Nice hotel for family - good pool with water slides. It is close to the zoo, and very close to the airport but I could not hear them when in my room. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a great breakfast buffet with good price

Love the water park 2 slides lots of fun rooms were clean and breakfast was good however elevator was down and we had to wait or use the stairs most of the time but overall I recommend if you have kids

As someone who spends more time in various hotels than at home, I can confidently say that the Port is unrivaled in its customer service. I often go as far as to say that it feels like my second home. All staff are extremely courteous, flexible, and accommodating, and they consistently go beyond their roles and responsibilities just to bring a smile to guests' faces.

I would like to extend a special thank you to all the managers and reception staff for all that you do, each one of you make my stays so very enjoyable.

Be sure not to miss Jetz for an evening sports game coupled with a choice cold beverage, nor the amazing buffet breakfast.

Decent hotel if your staying by the airport. Not much around withing walking distance. Rooms that overlook the pool area are noisy.

Great services. Comfortable bed. Really enjoyed my stay here. A bar, restaurant and room service right on site and the pool looks pretty amazing for the little ones. Would be happy to stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The kids loved the water park. Liked that hot tub and fitness area were in another section so was very peaceful and relaxing.

My favorite hotel I've ever stayed in at this price point. The service is impeccable, the pool and slides provide hours of fun for kids and adults alike, and the steam room in the men's fitness centre will melt your face off like Nick Cage. Clean rooms, accommodating staff and central locale in the city. I'll be back!

VERY friendly staff right down to housekeeping , everybody was super friendly . Rooms were large and very clean , main pool was a bit crowded as events were happening but lower pool was empty and quiet. Very reasonable room at a very reasonable price

Nice hotel near the Calgary airport. They have shuttle operating every 30mins to airport and Westjet Campus. The breakfast was nice but I hope they do rotate their breakfast menu every other day as they are the same daily after staying there for a week. Opposite of it is a flight museum where u can visit for 2hrs or so.

Great stay over all. Pool was a little chilly. But the kids didn't mind.

Kiddie pool was so packed by older children that my 2yr old was being pushed around. The dinner buffet was not worth the 20 bucks per person.

The indoor water park is definitely a plus. Kids love it, no need to wait in line for water slide. The hotel facility is clean and staffs are friendly. Will book it again if needed in the future.

I stay in plenty of different brands of hotels, in many cities across North America. When I am in Calgary I prefer to stay at the BW Port O'Call, the staff is the primary reason for my choice. A hotel room is just a hotel room but how we are treated as we come and go from these location is important.

Great stay. My family and I were here from Monday to Friday and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, the waterslides were great and we even found a pool on the parkade level beside the fitness center that was much less busy. There was a fantastic sauna in the fitness center change rooms as well! Breakfast buffet was great and dinner at the Jets Lounge was wonderful. Our 10 year anniversary was on Thursday and the staff had champagne and dessert sent to our room! We loved it.

We always stay at this hotel. The only thing we don t like is that when you book online the price is more when you check out. Our last visit, Jan 3rd, I booked online to stay at this hotel for 1 night before our early morning flight the next day and was given a rate of $102 plus the extras but when we checked out the rate was $132 so wasn t impressed as they said it shouldn t have been that low. I even had the paper showing the price from their website (I printed the confirmation off) but they didn t care. We will still stay here as this was the first time this has happened but if it were to happen again, I will revise my review!

We loved staying here with our two young kids! We loved not having to drive far into the city and the pool was so much fun! Also the buffet was perfect when we needed food fast! The staff were friendly and helpful. We will for sure stay here again!!

The place is great for kids! They have a water park with two water slides and a kiddie pool. Also there are two hot tubs in the pool area. They have a great underground covered parking garage. Also they have a bar and lounge, a coffee bar, a hair salon and a restaurant. The location is very central in Calgary and very near the airport. The plane noise can wake light sleepers. The rooms are big and beds are comfy. Plus they have bath robes so it's a real luxury feeling hotel. The breakfast buffet in my opinion should be free as it is not really worth the price to eat there. Best thing in the buffet was the muffins. Try a Caeser in the lounge!

Every time that we stay in Calgary with the kids, we stay at the Best Western Plus Port O Call. The kids love the waterslides and the buffets. I love the gym, the comfort of the beds, and the great service that the staff provides us. I tell everybody about how much we love this hotel. We will keep on returning.

ANGELA at front text is an angel just as her name stipulates. She made sure we were super comfortable and well taken care of.

The guy(don't want to mention his name)that booked our room sent an email with a higher amount contrary to what we talked about. Robin the manager fixed that problem within seconds.

We were offered a complimentary crib for my daughter, complimentary breakfast for all 6 of just coz my key didn't work? Why won't I go back?
