I attended a weekend conference here. The room was clean and a good temperature. The food provided was nice and the technology worked well. There is also great restaurants close by.

Great place to stay, especially if you have kids. The pool was fantastic, and the rooms were comfortable. Had a wonderful stay!

I used to plan to stay here but not sure we will next time. The TV was not working in the room and couldn't watch and we weren't told of any of this during booking or checking in. The pool area was so busy it might become a hazard with so many children. I am not sure they are monitoring the quantity. The breakfast used to be good but food was cold and not as good as it used to be. One elevator was not working so it would take forever to go to different floors. My kids used to look forward to staying here and said they don't need to come here anymore.

Great place for kids! There was a smaller shallow warm pool with a slide for our little girls. The waterslides were amazing. Underground parking was a bonus. Only downside was 1 slide was broken for a day and room service was pricey.

Breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable. Price was decent.

All the amenities, waterpark was fun (even adults should go), such comfy beds! However, i found the level of security overbearing. You need your room.key in the elevator to access your floor, same for taking the stairs. I supoose this keeps yahoos and hockey teams from annoying other guests but it was awkward in the elevator thatbyiu can't do the polite thing to puah the button for someone. Jetz bar was good for late night snacks and friends said the breakfast buffet was good (though not free and I so enjoy that kind of stay). Did I mention the beds are REALLY comfy

Best Sunday brunch in Calgary and only about $24 pp. Great wait staff too.

Great hotel overall. We had an odd problem with water pressure and waiting for hot water. I'm guessing it's temporary but just something to watch out for.

This was Our first time in Calgary we got lost in the city driving around for 2 hrs trying to find a place to stay. We google mapped The Best Western Port O Call and when we arrived the front desk was very inviting and sympathetic. After driving for 14 hrs they made us feel like we were home. Great food and rooms, the pool is awesome! If you re going to the Zoo I recommend this place because it is only a 10 minute drive. Also you can get your Zoo passes at the front desk. Your close to other immenities as well. Sun Ridge mall is only 8 minutes away. A great location if you re unfamiliar with the Calgary area. (Like we were.) easy to get in and out of. ie: going to Drumheller. Great place bring your Swim suit. Water slides are a blast!

Absolute amazing experience at this hotel. The staff was Amazing our rooms were great and the pool and the pool staff were just lovely. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for the great memories

Great place if you have Kids. The pool is awesome. With two hot tubes and two water slides you can settle in for a great relaxing time in the hot tube while the kiddos go nuts on the slides. Also the rooms are nice.

The check in staff was some of the best I have come across while travelling. The hotel was clean and in good order. The restaurant was amazing!!!! The food was excellent and they provided a good selection . The only problem was the water park no one enforces the rules and we had people fully dressed jumping in and swimming Unattended children climbing all over the structure.

We were there for a birthday party in the swimming pool area and party room. Kids had a lot fun. The staff were friendly.

I was here for a meeting. The hotel was great and the banquet services were excellent as well.

Always an enjoyable experience. The manager Mo and staff are always professional, pleasant and accommodating.

Staff over all are great, however some staff keep bothring customers.
I have stayed many times here, but last time it was the worse experiance, by keep getting calls and knocking on the door, because i am late for check in, Although I have extended my reservation.
But they still kept bothring us.

This would be higher except for the pillows. Staff was great, water park was awesome and room was as advertised. No option other than very soft feather pillow though so if you're used to a firm pillow good luck.

Clean rooms and awesome pool. Or should I say pools as there is 3 pools and 2 hot tubs.

Great place grandkids had a blast in the water park. Convenient location to visit sites in Calgary. Good food great staff.

The room was itself was nice, the shower had mold on the ceiling, water damage in the bathroom, room was not cleaned, as we found a hair clip and change on the floor. There was a giant hand print on the mirror around the jet tub.Called front desk 3 times before they answered for an extra cup and shampoo, 20 minutes later the cleaning lady arrived with one cup and no shampoo. I told the cleaning lady and she said she would be right back, another 20 mins later, she came back with no face mask on, and was talking on her cell.The vending machine ate my money, advised front desk staff. They advised me that the vending machines had nothing to do with the hotel, so I was out the money.

Extremely friendly staff, lovely,clean, large room and I felt very welcomed especially with breakfast. I would recommend staying.

Customer service was excellent. They were so accommodating for our large group, providing a spot for us to all gather for a meal and allowing late checkout for all its us. We'll be back.

Totally awesome hotel, and may be one of the coolest Best Westerns I've ever stayed in. It has a restaurant, a sports bar and a really cool indoor pool complete with water slides. My room was clean an comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but I did grab a bite in the sports bar, and the food was great. Overall a great place, and I look forward to my next visit!

Angela at front desk was very helpful to check in and brought new towels for us when we asked them. Thank you!!! My kids loved the pool and it was very nice!!! I want more choices for breakfast we had same meal everyday. We'd like to go back to port o'call when we go back to Calgary for sure:)

Review keeps getting deleted. Wife had a large amount of money stolen from her room while they were at the pool. Someone used force to gain entry to the room. Good thing her and the kids were t in the room at the time. When booking staff told her they had security cameras. Turns out the cameras are only in the lobby and other common areas. While police were going through the room the staff kept trying to come in and clean, even when asked not to. Y police. We ll defiantly be staying elsewhere from now on.

Clean, price was reasonable and the water park was amazing for my kids!

Large hotel near Calgary airport, with tons of amenities. Pool is more like a small waterpark, with two big slides and one kiddie slide area. Bar and lounge are quite large too, good place to catch a game,.get snacks and a beer. Many covid restrictions in place, bar cannot seat all video poker games at once, until plastic screens installed. Pool had some restrictions too but enforcement was a bit slack. Only 15 rooms can book a time per hour, we picked a time and got our wrist bands to go in, but many many families just went in without booking a time, no apparent wrist bands! Pool was jammed with 65+ people making wife and myself very uneasy about covid issues. We thought 15 people max would make more sense. Other hotels were more strict with pool times and groups. Hotel was clean, with excellent rooms, comfy beds and lots of cleaning staff constantly cleaning touch points. Would have felt better if pool times/groups were managed better.

Great place to stay with the kids but the attached restaurant with the "All You Can Eat Pasta and Pizza" left something to be desired. No Continental Breakfast." Should be with the price of the room. Simple solution was the Tim Horton's Kiddie Corner to the hotel or the McDonalds 3 blocks to the West. One particular Lady at the Check In whose been there for over 3 years now, can always put a smile on your face. Very pleasant and uplifting.

It has a good location, the rooms are nice and clean, with good friendly service. WiFi was not great in our room. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was really good. The waterpark was tons of fun. We would return in the future.

Had a kids Christmas party there. Staff was pleasant and prompt. Waterslides are fun.

We had a great time! Pool-side room is the way to go!

Love it for the pools! Rooms are fine staff are nice. The food is okay. I would go again for the pool.

Clean, spacious rooms. Restaurant dinner buffet was ok, could use a few more choices but food was good. Underground parking was great especially in winter.

Booked for one night, with a week parking included. Good value.
Arrived with a terrible cold. Staff during check in were very kind, offering tea etc.

The water park looked like lots of fun!
Early morning 3:00am. Driver didn't show, but problem was resolved quickly with cabs provided. Return shuttle was prompt.

Amazing guest services and front desk staff! The pools are great too - waterslides for the kids, two hot tubs on that level, and one much quieter pool on a lower floor with ANOTHER "Serenity focused" hot tub, what a wonderful experience!

As a frequent guest I did not get a floral arrangement in my room but did get a bottle of Italian white wine

Great buffet breakfast with lots of choices from French toast and waffles to fresh fruit and parfaits with a great selection of juices. A wonderful family friendly pool with fun exciting slides. Definitely something there for the whole family

I stayed at the Port O Call for the first time in a number of years. I had spend a lot of nights there over the years but not recently. I was quite impressed with the new look of the hotel. Obviously the rearranging of the road access to the YYC terminal has had an affect, but all things considered, a slightly longer shuttle bus trip is more than made up in the price range and access to other businesses compared to staying at the terminal or immediate area. New decor in rooms but still an iconic airport hotel with the Jetz Bar and lounge and with a increased size to the restaurant

This hotel is the best we have stayed in for so long. Extremely clean and high quality services and peaceful. We had Room service and it was awesome the same service of a 5 star. The deserts we incredible and homemade by a Chef. The Horizon's Bistro was 5 Star all the during, our dinner meal. The wait staff had perfect service, and so polite. The Lamb Chops, was so delightful and tender. Unending water being refilled.
We can't wait for Sunday Buffet in the morning. My wife and look forward to our next visit. Oh by the pool is so relaxing and clean. Great stay unwinds its Guests in 5 star way.

Great hotel near the airport great for a family stay with a water park. But quite and lots amenities for adults. Hair salon and a good restaurant. Rates are good and super clean why stay with anyone else

We loved our stay at the hotel. Friendly staff. Our room was clean spacious . The pool is incredible . Way better than any other hotel pool we've ever stayed at . The kids non stop talk about the pool. Nice that there is a small kids area and a big kids area .

Conveniently close to the airport with a shuttle service. The room was comfy and clean with a nice small balcony. The agents at the desk were great; one even called me by name and this was my first stay. The restaurant was cozy with great staff and the breakfast buffet was awesome. I'd stay here again for sure.

Clean and helpful staff. Tones of ammonites (pool, squash courts, a coffee bar, resteraunt', etc) however; Navigation can be confusing. Elevators finicky. Absolutely impossible to visit friends/ family on different floors, as the keys only have access to the floor your room is on. Nice swimming pool #lilcold
