Staff very fast, helpful and poilite.
They are extremely busy check in.
Room was perfect and clean.
Everything working. Makes it nice to not have any issues.

Our stay as a couple was very outstanding. As a couple we were treated as royalty and when we asked for a hot tub in our King size room it was granted. I would definitely stay again and tell our friends about what a great experience it was .. It was my girl friend birthday we were celebrating.

Room was clean and pool was nice but probably only thing that was ok are 3 night stay didn't get coffee or anything first night than my kids found prescription drugs in the night stand manager didn't seem to care when we told him.
my kids are 3 and under they don't know not to take them would have thought they where candy wont be stay again very very disappointed

Perfect price with early morning shuttle service to airport. Quiet rooms friendly helpful staff. egistration and checkout seamless.

Pool/water park is not as big as it looked in pictures from ads.
Overall ok stay for a one night sleep.

This hotel is perfect for families! Our room was quite spacious and had modern fixtures. The water park was superb! The entire family enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Besides receiving dirty face cloths, and our jacuzzi wasnt cleaned... It was a beautiful stay (honeymoon suite, eee!). Buffet breakfast is $15 per head, or 2 adults & 2 kids is considered "family package" for food vouchers. The water park was fun too

The Port o call is a fantastic hotel to stay at. The service is outstanding and the breakfasts are amazing!

This is a fun hotel if your kids like to swim. We booked it for the water park, which we found to be a little underwhelming. It s not as huge as it appears from the website, it s basically two waterslides, two hot tubs and a toddler section. The kids had fun with it though. Be warned that it got VERY busy on the weekend, it sounds like they get a lot of sports teams.

Staff were all friendly and polite.

We liked the breakfast buffet. It s not complimentary, though you have to prepay at check-in, and it s $30 for a family of 4.

The room and hotel were very clean. The only thing we were unsatisfied with was the bedding. Scratchy sheets, terrible pillows, and the beds were rock hard.

Clean, comfortable rooms, restaurant and bar are good.

We hosted a group Christmas party for our staff and their families, it was an excellent venue and great service!!!! Thank you

Great value, and great family friendly hotel. Pool/waterpark made every night enjoyable with the kids. Hotel and room was also very clean, and well appointed. Staff was great. I was surprised at the quality of food for in room service. The overall experience exceeded my expectations for the price point. Very affordable. Wouldn t stay anywhere else if traveling with kids.

The staff here are incredible. Ive spent the past 3 weeks here and I think these people are some of the kindest and caring folks I have ever met. The restaurant and lounge staff were keen on making us feel welcome while away from home. The front desk and shuttle staff were so sweet and helpful. Thank you all so much. Love Jolene.

I liked the buffet breakfast, everything was very clean, and the waterslides are great for the kids. The hotel room is very cramped with a cot and the pool was very crowded.

Service needs improvement. Rooms were fine. Restaurants were slow. Overall our stay was comfortable. Given the pandemic of 2020 I am not expecting perfection. Best westerns hotels is our go to for place to stay

Stayed here overnight before flight on vacation. My daughter loved the waterpark. Didn't get a chance for any meals because odd an early flight but the room was great and shuttle service got us to the airport on time. Great staff and we will stay again.

Perhaps a good choice for parents with poorly behaved children. If you are looking to actually get some sleep, I highly recommend looking elsewhere

Stayed at this property during the Calgary Stampede. Great place to stay with young children. Pool/slides were lots of fun and busy. Staff was great and good dinner in the restaurant.

This is a favorite hotel for our family when we visit Calgary. It actually has made Calgary a more frequent destination for us, as it provides a perfect venue for visiting friends and family - even hosting them! With its amazing pools, waterslides, full restaurant, lounge, fitness, coffee bar, racquetball courts, salon, our stay is never boring and we often have others come visit US! The staff are really what makes this place. They truly care that you enjoy your stay. Oh, and they offer free airport shuttle service, so if you need to make Calgary a stopover during your travels, this is a perfect option.

For an older property this one has kept up with the times and is surprisingly comfortable, easily accessible and has a quick and friendly shuttle ride to the airport. Will certainly keep this property in mind for the next time.

Really well maintained hotel that has kept up with the times through renovations. Waterpark was a blast for our kids and the rooms were quite spacious.

We have stayed here before a few times and really enjoyed it. Hotel is clean. Beds comfortable. We stayed on the 6th floor this time and it took about 15 minutes to get hot water for the shower. Breakfast was not as good as usual. Front desk called our room at 730 saying that there was a complaint about my 1 year old crying. She was over tired and had a hard time falling asleep. She only cried for about 10 minutes while getting to bed. I didn't feel a call with a noise complaint at 730 PM was appropriate as it was not during quiet time and was only for a short time.

Fantastic stay at the Port O Call. The king suite was exactly what we needed for al larger family. The hospitality of the personnel was great. Truly made us feel like the y cared about our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to others especially if you have children.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to the airport and a little ways from main roads. Proximity to the airport means there is a bit if extra noise, but the staff and hotel cleanliness and amenities make up for that.

The hotel was great. I was only there visiting some family and didn't stay the night, but the room was very clean and spacious. And the water park was great for kids. There's a pool for younger children as well that my 3 year old niece absolutely loved.

The room was very spacious . The beds were so comfy and had extra pillows. The restaurant staff were very friendly as well as the front desk staff. The pool was amazing the kids played for hours . We will return for sure

We stayed for a family wedding and found the hotel and staff very friendly and accommodating. The pool and slides were enjoyed by many. The wedding was fantastic. So much fun. Rooms are very nice.

I have never been dissatisfied staying here. Friendly, very helpful, and professional staff. Only downside is that they did not have a smaller room than the 2 queen bed room available. My wonderful experiences at this Best Western is why I always look for one to stay at wherever I travel to.

This hotel was lovely, the Waterpark looked like a blast! No breakfast included though which was disappointing. Also the cleaning staff should not push their huge carts in to the elevator full of guests...

Endued a long icy trip but walked into a winter wonderland! The smiles beamed like lights on the tree. The room had all that one could desire. Clean and very comfortable beds. Lets not talk about he meal.. once again my hubby ordered the JET burger it is his favorite. Done right to perfection again- he looked like a chipmunk eating it. My soup a bit spicy but great. I did not do the buffet but hubby did and said " wow real food" not card board eggs. He was quite impressed. Ahhh so nice heated parking.! Staff were so kind, caring and helpful. Don'[t think I once did not see a smile! BEST PLACE TO STAY AT EVER!

I was just here for a seminar. It seems to have nice facilities, indoor pool with waterside, fitness room etc... They provided a pretty good lunch of salads and sandwiches. Our conference rooms were in the basement. It would have been nicer to have windows to the outside.

Service was friendly, gym equipment was stellar and the pools were awesome

Affordable, clean, most courteous staff, and kids love the Water Park. Lastnight there was such a beautiful view from the hotel balcony of city and the brighest moon it was quite spectacular !

This is a great hotel I have been staying for over 20 years and all the members of their team really do go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect. Close to the airport, close to shopping malls, perfect location.

This is the best Best Western hotel I have ever stay!! Good location, neat and clean, the staff were very friendly , the breakfast buffet, are the best, it will have some charge compare to most of the Best Western's breakfast included, but very reasonable. the buffet have a good selection, the best part are the freshly made waffles and eggs, pastries and coffee are good too! What a nice stay! although pets are not allowed, but it's really good for the whole family cause I heard they have a water park.

We are having a good time here. The pool is great, kids had a lot of fun. The reason for 3 stars is this: we booked the hotel for 3 nights and by the 2nd night the room is very stuffy. A window cannot be opened. Also, in comparison with other 3 star hotels we ve stayed at there is no complimentary snacks in the lobby.

I think we will try another hotel next year.

Great atmosphere has most of what you need under one roof so you don t have to travel far to get what you need in most cases. Very very family friendly.
The water park is very fun and relaxing.
A must stay for family traveling. I will definitely be back as soon as possible. Entertainment is just a short drive away (ie.calgary zoo, Telus spark, calaway park, Etc)

The staff at the Port O Call are always fantastic to work with. We hist multiple conferences a year at their hotel and they go above and beyond to make sure things are just right. Excellent food. Friendly, capable staff. Good rooms. Overall a top notch hotel to host events at.

Please check the ph level of your pool. We were not without one child being burned or having a rash due to the chlorine content.

Went to Skyharbor Restaurant at the Best Western Hotel for Sunday Brunch. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful without smothering us. The food was good but nothing special. Otherwise had a pleasant time

As always the BW Port of Call was there for us. Price was great, better than last time.

Swimming pool kids had a blast. Restaurant had a buffet. Just wishedhad s bit more choices. Rooms clean

Stayed here with my 9 year old daughter and 3 of her best friends to celebrate her birthday. Best sleepover pool party ever! We stayed in one of the poolside cabana rooms and the extra (gated) patio space was perfect. The girls had a blast in the water park and thoroughly enjoyed the waterslides and pools. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and the hotel looks great after the recent renovations. Great staycation!

Clean rooms, great staff, awesome indoor water park and great restaurant and lounge. This place has it all.

Stay here a fair bit however not overly thrilled about our last stay. Internet was shotty, room towels are rough as sand paper, in room water pressure and temperature fluctuates, pool area not monitored and main pool freezing cold, airport shuttle and pickup a joke (shuttle stays parked outside hotel and runs ONLY once an hour), restaurant food was okay (one dish came out COLD). Overall a poor stay

This is probably one of the nicer hotels close to YYC. Staff has always been super helpful and very kind. Rooms are very clean, and well furnished. A bit on the pricey side, but nicer than the usual airport hotels.

Great spot for a get away, close to several amenities such as the airport and sunridge mall. Very friendly and professional front desk staff. Excellent lounge with great atmosphere and the pool is a great place to relax and to let the kids play.
