We love this hotel. Great price for a clean, comfy room with free breakfast and the pool/ hot tub are amazing!! Many places near by to walk for food or drinks. Close to highway to get to the mountains or downtown, yet still quiet and tucked away from street noise.

We visited during family vacation in Colorado and very much enjoyed our stay. For our son, it was a surprise and his eyes grew big when he saw all the dinosaur fossils in the lobby. We had a relaxing afternoon at the pool followed by a casual dinner. The food options are basic but well prepared and tasty. Breakfast offers wide variety of hot and cold options from cereal to yogurt to fruit as well as eggs, waffles, pastries, etc. Volunteer staff presented some more fossils and great explanations. If you or your kids are at least somewhat interested in dinosaurs, this is a must stay - at least once!
Great little place, great pool: year round outdoor, and reflects the shape of prehistoric oceans that were there once, and great for you get kids due to the shallowness. Love the dinosaur theme.
Nice property and large! Staff is generally okay. Rooms are decent. Nice outdoor pool area and convenient to the highway. However, a bit disappointing to find that as a status member you get situated over the power units of the hotel.
Very clean hotel, great staff, cozy rooms and very fun and quirky little place. We enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was great, pool is nice. Loved the theme!!
This place is an oasis in the midst of a crazy busy world! It's neat, clean, friendly and welcoming atmosphere make it especially appealing. From the comfortable and cozy bed and room to the amazingly lovely heated outdoor pool and hot tub to the delightful continental breakfast - this hotel has all the right things to make your stay truly spectacular!! We highly recommend this accommodation!! Thank you so much and we most definitely will be back!
Mattresses were worn out. Get next to edge of bed you would roll off. Smallest bathroom I have ever seen at a hotel. Asked for handicap room did not get one. Breakfast room was disorganized spread out across room. If I could attach pics I would. Out dated property.
Loved the dinosaur theme, especially for our dino-centric granddaughter. (Even a dino expert on site in the a.m. for information.) The room was well-kept and quiet, very clean. Excellent breakfast with a very good attendant staff. Several interesting restaurants nearby. Pub type restaurant with bartender and modest menu (food was good). Nice heated pool and hot tub. Recommend.
The staff is very rude and argumentative. I have my statement from my bank showing the deposit amount and she continued to argue, I don't know what's that came from but I only show.. on my end and proceeded to state this approximately 4-5 times, without even asking to see my statement or documents. I read the reviews prior to my stay thinking that people just have a difference in attitudes however, THEY ARE STATING FACTS. I will never advise anyone I know to stay at this hotel.
Cute little hotel near the freeway but there are meth heads that we noticed that stay in the hotel as well as a team of them that live in their cars towards the back of the hotel. Lovely.
When the front desk clerk raises his voice at me and I easily quadruple his monthly income. What kind of people at a business conduct themselves in such a no professional Manor??? Look no further! This best Western was nice & clean, the employees are not either, I suggest the Marriott, far better service.
We arrived at 3:20 to check in and our room wasn't ready! Waited another 20 mins still not ready...it's been a long day driving, it's hot and I'm tired. Driving for 3 days from Oregon, not the welcome I was expecting!
I found this hotel to be very clean. However, the front desk staff that I had to deal with every time I needed to left things to be desired. First, I went to get drinks late Monday night and she wouldn't bring my change to the far end of the counter. She set it close to her and forced me to walk around the counter to her. Then when I was going to check out, I had to ask for a receipt twice. Her facial expressions always told that she considered my requests beneath her. She was the same way with other members of my party. I have the same experience with front desk staff now at two different Best Westerns. We will be staying elsewhere when we travel again.
Our stay at the Best Western was great and loved the dinosaur decor!!! Everyone we encountered were very friendly and cordial. Paul the bartender at the restaurant was very conversational and friendly during our late dinner at 9:30 pm. We enjoyed our stay and everything was clean and comfortable!! Higly recommend this hotel for the price and convenience.
The hotel was in the middle of repairs so there was a little inconvenience but other than that the rooms were kept extremely well and local area was nice
We really enjoyed our stay! The room was comfy, clean, and quiet. The pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center were well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. It says continental, but it's actually a hot breakfast. A cook actually makes the scrambled eggs, not the formed, pre-shaped egg patties you find at some places. Lots of food choices for breakfast and well replenished. Breakfast area is clean. Easy access to highway and walking distance to lots of restaurants too. Great hotel!
This place has been nicely updated from the inside out. I've been here several times and have seen the transformation first hand. You can tell that the management has not spared much expense as everything from the rooms to the roof, and the lobby to the landscaping has been redone.
We came from Phoenix and had a few problems on the way so we didn t arrive until almost 3am of course we were very tired so at 7am we asked for a late check out after paying $145 for a night they denied us what a way to show customer service I don t recommend this place to anyone the lady we spoke to at the front desk who denied us was very rude Although the young lady who checked us in was very nice so thank you Alex for doing a great job.., but she s the only good thing about this place.
Great place to stay near Denver! The staff are by far the highlight of this establishment--they were warm and friendly across the board! The woman at the front desk gave us an awesome hiking recommendation; housekeeping took extra time to make our room feel welcoming. Not to mention, the dinosaur murals were SO COOL. The linens had gone a bit scratchy, and the bathroom was fairly small, but these were minor inconveniences at best. A great place to stay, overall--would definitely recommend!
The hotel was under renovation, so the best days for this place are yet to come. As for now, though, it was only "good" at best.
First of all, the location of this hotel is where the gangs like to hang out. My wife and I, unbeknownst to us, when walking around one late afternoon and found gang graffiti everywhere. So, be careful.
The hotel room was small and bed was definitely used. The cabinet housing the television also served as the furniture to hang up clothes, meaning that it was quite small as well. The refrigerator was tucked away into a nook and was hardly accessible. Needless to say, there were a few sleepless nights, but it was cozy.
The bathroom was wheelchair accessible, without any appreciable counter space to put toiletries. Also, there was no outside sink area adjacent to the bathroom, like in some hotels/motels. At least it did not take long for hot water to flow from the shower.
The complimentary breakfast began at 6:30 a.m. and was typical with the exceptions that the serving room was extremely small and the woman hired to set up everything every morning was rude and unsociable. This was the worst part of staying at this location.
The washer and dryer room was small and warm (temperature-wise). One-dollar to wash clothes; 75 cents to dry. A good bargain.
The front desk help was very friendly from the start. They did their best to compensate for the awkwardness of renovation.
All-in-all I would grade this Best Western a C-. Again, in the coming months or years it may make it above average, but for now, it's not quite there yet. Several of the personnel were very good, but at least one needs to find herself an occupation that better suits her personality.
This place is beautiful, clean and budget friendly. Close shopping, easy access to interstate. The maintenance man Paul is very friendly and helpful. Desk folks are amazing as well.
This is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed at. There are fossils, murals and dinosaur bones along with plaques talking about the various types of dinosaurs and fossils. They had an onsight raptor show with live birds. There was a paleontologist one morning answering questions. The breakfast is hot and tasty. Lots to enjoy just slightly off the path. Well worth the effort to get to.
It was very nice , the breakfast was amazing.I just kinda wish they had an elevator to put our luggage on. And the snacks were pricey in the snack area
This hotel has been recently remodeled, and they have done a tremendous job of it. It is very clean! It has a pleasant smell and atmosphere! ALL of the staff were VERY friendly. We were greeted by every staff member with a verbal greeting and a smile. This is a place that we plan on staying often and highly recomend that you do also! Well done!
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Hotel is off the main road so there is no traffic noise which is a plus. Full breakfast is available with a nice selection. Breakfast seating is limited so plan accordingly if the hotel is full. We preferred our own pillows. Walls are a little thin so you can hear your "neighbors" so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
This is a nice place to stay. The pool is nice and the beds are comfy. It's conveniently located to the freeway and lots of restaurant and shopping options.
Pretty disappointed to have made a reservation the day prior to arrival only to find out that the power has been off at this hotel for 2 days. I was told I can keep my reservation but will be in a room with no electricity! Seriously? I get it, a storm knocked the power out and it's not in your control. Maybe contact guests with reservations so they don't drive 600 miles to find out you are without power.
Hotel located ideally in Lakewood, Co. Was able to conduct business efficiently and avoid major traffic situations. Hotel provided very reasonable rates with multi day pricing. Very pleased with this location. Staff very friendly & efficient.
Best western is a great place to stay very clean. People at the front desk were very nice and friendly, explained everything perfect. I will stay there again and again.
My favorite hotel in Denver!! Spotless, extra clean rooms and pool! Breakfast is great and they have a nice variety ... We stayed here 8 nights! We will be back!!
Room was clean, a little small for two queen beds. Pool being cleaned during open hours. Nice location as it's close to a main Street but just off of it to not be to busy. Shops and food around
Very nice and clean hotel. Staff I very nice and knowledgeable. Room are very clean and maintained well. Restaurant in the hotel is good. Great drink specials. There is no elevator though but staff is very considerate and willing to move people who need to be on the first floor.
