Very friendly, pleasant salesman not pushy at all, would purchase from them again

If you are looking for exceptional customer service, please ask for Butch Griffin. He made my first car buying experience an excellent one! As a millennial looking to buy a car, Butch defiantly understands how much affordability matters. He worked diligently to make sure my car was nice and affordable.

Why isn t 0 stars an option? If I could give zero stars I would because the service department is an absolutele joke. And for reference, I dealt with Steve Spencer and a guy named Tony or Tommy. Steve was nice. The other guy was a complete disaster and kind of worthless (tho he says he s worked there for 20+ years)
Imaging taking your vehicle in for a repair (due to an accident that s another driver s fault) to fix a shaking rear end. Benson fixed it but the shakiness came back very soon, and worse. Wouldn t you assume they either diagnosed the problem wrong or fixed the problem incorrectly?
This is what happened to me. When I brought my vehicle back they actually charged me $121 just to look at it. I ve never had worse support in my life that I can think of, more specifically from Tony/Tommy.
Do yourself a favor and find another place to do business with. Please. You ll thank me later.

Dealership had a variety of selection. Very good prices. Gerry was our salesman and did a wonderful job. Had quite a few hiccups along the way but everyone from the salesman to the finance manager to the used car manger and general manager got involved to help me get the car I wanted. My husband was purchasing a brand new truck today. The dealership and my husband agreed on price and extra s, it was a done deal. My husband went to get truck and then all of a sudden the general manager decides he can not do the deal .. never again will we deal with them again . We already had our financing and everything then the general manager said no. That was wrong in a huge kind of way. Horrible dealership, never take there word for anything. Buy somewhere else where people honor there promises and keep there word

After 2 weeks dealing with TWO different dealerships and not getting anywhere with either, from being told I won t be able to afford much to being ripped off from the other, my dad referred myself to Butch here at Benson. Butch was an absoulte dream to work with. I didn t realize how easy buying a car could be due to the horrible expirence I ve had at two other dealerships. All I can say is I'm impressed! Butch Griffin was my salesman. Butch wasn't very pushy at all and worked with me and my schedule to make this deal happen. I have never bought a vehicle the same day cause I'm not the person to make a decision without researching things and thinking it over. I even told Butch this and he was like we going to change that today. I told him I want the best OTD price right off the get go cause I had already spoke with several dealers and have seen their price and I didn't feel it was a good deal. As always my thinking is yeah right they always say that then come back with high numbers and the negotiations start and we go back and forth or I say thank you and walk out. When Butch came back with the numbers I was totally in shock and actually had to sit there a minute and look it over thinking how could this be! I was thinking to myself this is better than expected way better. I think I even looked at Butch and said "Wow and this is all fees,taxes and all nothing else coming at me later." Nope that was OTD. I felt the price was very fair even to the point where I couldn't even see a point in trying to even negotiate. Well you guessed it, I did something I have never did before and bought a car/truck the first day! I don't regret the purchase one bit and very happy how things went overall! Only thing I say that could have been better was the signing papers took a little longer than I preferred only because they had sold several cars and I just had to get in line in my order! I'm a strong believer in you do me right and you will get repeat business from me and I will give you very good word to mouth advertising. Thank you Butch and Benson CDJ for my new truck!!!

Approximately 6 weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 from the Used Benson Dealership and I am happy with the purchase but the customer service is / was horrible. Before I went to test drive the vehicle, I called 6+ hours ahead of time and verified that the truck would be ready for purchase as that was my intentions for driving over an hour after work to do. Once I got there Steve Vanorstrand couldn't even find the truck and when he did it had not been detailed. The truck was dirty from the inside - out. I proceed to purchase the vehicle and was told it would be delivered to my house since it wasn't ready on Monday at 5pm. As I'm getting off work at 4:30pm, I called to verify that it was still being delivered and Steve basically admitted that he forgot to relate the information to the other associates. It was finally delivered the following day with a rushed half wash / clean detailed job. I call back to see why there where carpet mats when we agreed on the rubber kind. Steve then came up with a back order story and said the mats should be delivered on 9/6 - 9/7. I have called back several times, left voicemails, etc. with no response or follow-up and I have still not received my mats. The 30 day temporary tag I was issued is also overdue, I'm pretty sure they dropped the ball again sending my paperwork and information off to the DMV.

Sold us a brand new car that would stop going 45-50 miles and hour and could not restart. Would do nothing with the lemon and told us to keep driving it! Never go to them again! Beware! Car recalled on two different issues.

They have the best group of people!!! I bought a truck from them a week ago and it hadn't even been looked at yet so they had a few minor things to fix and they really worked with me to get my truck back to me as soon as possible and they did everything I wanted done, it looks amazing!!! They also helped me with a rental so that I wasn't stranded without a ride. Mike Mcgregor is an amazing sales man and really took care of me and my family!!! I strongly recommend going here for your next purchase!!

A year to the day from buying my last Renegade from RJ and I am here again to brag on him again. I was needing to purchase another vehicle but had somewhat of a complicated and fluctuating timeline. This man is THE person you want to purchase your next vehicle from. He listened to my mother's requirements, detailed available options, and although she has age and hearing problems, he treated her like she was a spry 'twenty- something'. Once the decision was made and prior to departing in her new vehicle, Randall graciously scheduled an appointment with my mother for the following week to review all programs / operations she was unfamiliar with. Sales is great here. They take the time needed to make sure you are comfortable with and understand your new vehicle before you leave. Chris Collins helped me while I was all the way in Atlanta to nail down a vehicle and the deal details. Dell Burns had me all set up and ready to go into Finance within 15 minutes of taking a quick test drive. Cannot recommend enough! Mrs Hayes in finance is very friendly and not pushy at all with aftermarket like most dealers I have worked with before.

While I had an amazing experience when purchasing my Jeep from this dealership, the service department is extremely lacking. I took my Jeep for its first oil change and inquired about any recalls or software updates that various individuals had told me in regards to my Renegade. I was told that there weren't any active recalls, nor where their any software updates. A week later, I got a flat tire in Beaufort, SC and visited their local Jeep dealership, only for them to tell me that I had 2 recalls and 5 software updates that were going to take at least 2 hours to complete, all of which could have been done at my initial oil change.

My husband also took his Jeep for servicing here. Not once did they fill up any of the fluids they claimed they had- upon checking the engine after his last service, they never bothered to screw the cap to the oil compartment back on, the brake fluid was almost empty, and the windshield wiper fluid reservoir was completely empty. They also forgot to put back on the caps to the air gauges on his tires, which he didn't realize until he got home.

I understand that mistakes happen and things get overlooked, but this shouldn't occur at every single service appointment with two different vehicles. Do yourself a favor and schedule your services at Big O Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Greenville.

I was quoted over a hr in labor. To remove a broken bolt in my antenna!!! Took the body shop Six mins to remove it no cost to me!!! This dealership run Highway robbery Service department!!!

HUGE shout out to Chris Collins for making my life easier. He handled the purchase of my car at a VERY fair price over the course of less than 24 hours. I don't think any other place would've offered me what he did and made things so seamless for me. Roy at the dealership even gave me a ride back to my house after the sale - fun to chat with and a safe driver on a rainy day. Everyone at the dealership I encountered was super friendly and polite. I don't even think I had to open a door for myself. It's very clean inside and they have lots of things in the waiting area to keep customers comfortable. I recommend this place for both selling and buying cars. If you're trying to sell - ask for Chris! I sat beside/met Mr. Benson last year at the funeral of a mutual friend and I now see that the culture of professionalism is consistent and flows all the way from the top.
