The factory tour is an enjoyable experience, but be ready to stand in line and wait a long time on weekends.
what can you say.... This is where it all began. The our is a walk down memory lane but not required.
Lounging on the grounds and eat ice cream; it doesn't get any better.
Simply worth seeing. Although the production is more a show and not a real factory hall, everything is clearly and well explained. I would definitely recommend it. But come in time. It is extremely crowded shortly after opening and if you are unlucky you will be sent away
If you live ice cream you have to come and visit. If you have a good size group or can eat a lot of ice cream, order the vermonster! If you have time, take their tour and learn more on how they make their addicting flavors. We had a great time.
Always a fun treat! I love the view of the mountains from here too!
Totally worth going to. The tour is enjoyable and our guide had a great sense of humor with a dry delivery (which I like). It reminded me a little of the Willy Wonka movie in a good way. It's a wonderful company, go see them.
Ice cream Mecca! Do the tour, eat ice cream and be happy :D
Awesome place!! Great to learn the history of Ben and Jerry's
Very good social distancing rules. People were super nice. Love all the different flavors!
The factory tour only cost $4 a person and was interesting to see how the company has grown over the decades. The staff was super friendly and as always the ice cream is the best.
One more off the bucket list. Ice cream lovers heaven on earth.
It's Ben & Jerry's....do I need to say anything more than that? I scream, you scream..we all scream for icecream!!!
Okay experience. Kids liked it but nothing very fancy. Free ice cream after the factory tour was a nice touch.
Very crowded place. Arrive early or make a reservation if you want to tour the factory.
The shop is cute and the ice cream is excellent.
However the jewel of the tour os the ice cream graveyard. All of the retores ice cream flavors have headstones with a quirky description.
The tour was very interesting and the ice cream was great!
I would not go on the tour again. We went on a Sunday and no ice cream was being made so we watched videos and looked at a room of equipment. Then they gave us a small sample at the end. The tour guide could barely muster up much enthusiasm. If you are in the area and feel the need to go, skip the tour, buy some ice cream and sit at the playground and go through the graveyard of dead flavours. There is also a nice display of ice cream scoopers.
Just have one word for this place, - charlie and The chocolate factory
Great place! Very short tour only $4 but it's not a complicated process. Delicious ice cream and pretty cool shop. Apparently the actual Ben and Jerry occasionally show up and host the tour!
The tour was a lot of fun and I loved how many flavors they had available at the bar. The flavor graveyard was a lot of fun as well, don't miss that. Fun place overall, would be great for a family or anybody really!
Always a fun place to stop into. Go on the tour.
Only negative part is its always packed
What a fun time! It was so great to see how they do things, to learn about the history of the company and to taste the ice cream! I highly recommend visiting the flavor graveyard! Also, this place is electric car friendly!
great place for the kids, don't buy the ice cream at the plant, it is the most expensive B&J you will find
Such a fun experience. Loved our tour guide and the free sample at the end!
As a former employee thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Busy, but well done by the tour team.
Was fun, tasty and.......well, a picture is worth a thousand words
Fun, exciting and informative. I did the VIP tour (making my own ice cream). That is well worth the $ and I can't wait to return in the summer! !!
The new cereal ice cream was really good. Always a fun stop. We didn't have time for the tour this time unfortunately.
Loved taking the tour of the facility. It was interesting to see the small size considering the number of flavors offered. I want to return during warmer weather to see the flavor graveyard.
This place is hilarious. I was so overwhelmed by all the flavors they had. I loved it.
Fun, fast tour that ends with a free sample of ice cream. What more could you want?
The tour is short but has great content. Visitors should also make sure to check out the flavor graveyard outside.
Cool place. Pretty much the same as one of their scoop shops plus swag store and the factory tour. Factory tour a bit underwhelming - doesn't really show you how they make ice cream. Good place to make a quick stop if you are driving through VT - wouldn't recommend it as a destination. I'd give it 4 Stars if the tour was free or they gave you a coupon for ice cream cone
Don't take the tour. Very simple and quick. Too political from the tour guides.
A wonderful experience for a very low price. Walk through the factory and see production in action. Then, enjoy a "special" scoop at the end of the tour. My favourite thing about this location is that they serve every flavour produced in the U.S.. The new maple walnut is to die for!!! There are also cute goodies in the gift shop for the fam. Worth the stop, 100%.
Fun! Short tour, make sure you come early... We went on a Wednesday afternoon and had to wait 1.5 hours for our turn
Delicious ice cream. Nice quick tour. The visit was enjoyable even in the rain.
waste of time and money. Super crowded all for nothing.
You can't go wrong with Ben and Jerry's ice cream. They even have dart free options. They also do a great job sanitizing in-between people
Great stop off on our road trip! Only $2 for the tour, which was well worth it. Play area for children and so many flavours to choose from!
Fun time. The tour was interesting and was updated since our previous visit. The gift shop had something for everyone. If you play your cards right, the line for ice cream. Nice play space for the kids and shady places to sit. The graveyard for retired flavors was a hoot.
I really enjoyed this place. Ice cream tasting in a cool location. Recommend a visit :)
Great ice cream and gift shop. Pouring down rain when we stopped and it was mobbed. Loved the gift shop and the ice cream
Awesome! So glad we made the trip. So many flavors!
Neat tour to do if in your in Vt. The tour shows you the history of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and actually shows you the factory floor. It's not long to do but interesting nonetheless. You also get a free sample ice cream and can order as much as you want at the onsite ice cream store.
Nice tour of ice cream manufacturing plant. If you plan to see the action of ice cream making, plan to visit the place during weekdays, as they do not make ice cream on weekends and holidays.
Don't come here on a holiday weekend. Crazy lines. Total buzz kill. The graveyard is neat though.
I'm a huge ice cream lover, so this was PERFECT. There's something for everyone here! If you're in the area, do it! :)
The "ice cream factory" of Ben & Jerry can be visited for the price of 4 $ and through a guided tour to see how the well-known brand was born and what are the processes of production and creation of tastes. Finally, to complete the tour, there is a taste of the ice cream of the day. The stop was pleasant although not particularly interesting given the brevity of the ride. But the price is definitely cheap and the structure allows then to spend some time buying and tasting other ice cream.
Tour guides are excellent, exclusive ice cream flavours too.
This is a great stop when you are passing through. I was surprised that the tour was so inexpensive. Make sure you grab some ice cream while you wait because you can take it with you on the tour. Probably gets pretty crowded during the peak. Don't forget to walk up behind the factory to visit the flavor graveyard.
If you are passing by Ben & Jerry s you should definitely stop by. Friendly staff. They provide little tour that doesn t cost much money & you get to try ice cream of the day :) Also they have cute gift store.
You get a little history of how ben and jerrys came about and how their amazing ice creams are made! Best of all the sample, or should I say samples. Place is amazing!
Truck Driver's..In and out within the hour unloading or loading..not much room to get turned around or back in but not a problem if you wait your turn or have any common sense.
Great spot. Even in winter. So many ice cream choices. Fun little tour too!
Took the (20 whole minutes) tour, which was a short video, then standing in a glass room overlooking the production floor while a bored employee droned through the pitch. Luckily, it is very inexpensive.
Way too crowded, tour is ok. Couldn't even get ice cream, the line was 30 minutes or more. Save the trip and buy some pints anywhere.
Omg make sure you find time to stop here if you love ice cream! You cant tour sadly but it's still worth it!
Cheap, informative, and ends with ice cream! It was a nice stop on our road trip!
