Nice place to go but there is a long wait if you go there while it's a sunny Sunday afternoon !
Nice place to go but there is a long wait if you go there while it's a sunny Sunday afternoon !
What can I say everyone needs to do this pilgrimage
The tour was fun and informative, the puns were over the top but that's Ben and Jerry's for you. It's $4 per person which was surprisingly cheap. Whether that's worth it for you will depend on your interest in the history of the company and how the ice cream is made. They do give a sizable sample at the end of the tour. It is only one flavor however, so you don't get to choose what you get. I would definitely hit up the ice cream shop though and test some of the exclusive flavors they offer. Some were pretty delicious!
Highly recommend you stop by. A visit to B&J is simply a requirement you won't regret.
Awesome place for kids and adults to spend a few hours and get to know how icecream is made
Enjoyed tour & Triple Carmel Chunk at tasting at end.
What a great experience. Tour was short but the tour guide was quirky and funny and made it enjoyable. Learned a lot about the company and had some great ice cream.
Factory tour was hohum. Place was so commercialized, not fun at all. Oh wait, they're just pushing ice cream! Cabot creamery is a much more pleasant and educational experience, even the kids liked it more than bjs
Very busy yet we moved through the line at a ateady pace. I'm a bit surprised that they charge for the tour.
Nice stop along the way to Stowe! Tour was sweet and sample was awesome!!
Tour guide was funny and great with the kids. We were able to see the production line, which unfortunately was not running at the time, but a good experience. Also concluded with a sample of a new flavor.
Interesting but shorter tour than I expected. Not much special about it honestly but kids will love it.
It was ok up until the political message of the movie!!
We stopped by earlier in the week for a late afternoon ice cream treat and play time for our son. There's a playground behind and up the hill for kids to relax or burn off some energy. The ice cream is always delicious. My son loved playing on the playground and insisted we come back to play some more. So we went back today around lunch time to visit the playground and explore the Flavor Graveyard. There's a gazebo near the Flavor Graveyard and if you down the hill from there, you'll see a couple of cows chilling out on the grass.
I had wanted to do the factory tour but it was very busy and had a long line. So I went to checkout the gift shop and found some great souvenirs. My son loved the little stuffed toy cow I found for him. I will definitely come back again and try the factory tour.
Nice place best ice cream around vt. Tour kinda is week not to exciting
Good time. Very crowded but worth the short wait for the tour.
Been there many years ago... Enjoyed this visit as well
Had a nice tour and sample. Also witness QC issue and great to see firsthand how reactive they are to performing a good job and adressing the issue without even acknowledging the people above. I'm in quality so I was very impressed.
Interesting guided tour Too many ice cream choices oh my god
This place is always mobbed. Even off season or in the pouring rain.
Excellent tour with free ice cream sample afterward
Great ice cream, but nothing actually special that you can't get at the store. The tour seemed neat, but there were really large crowds.
Lots of fun. Ice cream delicious! My favorite chocolate therapy! Worth the trip!
Fun for kids... not much to do in the area though tbh. Not worth the drive to just visit this place without other things to do along the way.
This is a great place to visit. I recommend this place to everyone.
It was a good experience. You also get to enjoy ice cream afterwards.
Great place. Went on the tour and at the end you get a generous sample of a flavor just for the tour groups. No pictures of the production for but everything else is okay. The tour is kind of short it's not a big factory but there's also an outdoor area to enjoy..small playground area and a 'grave' site of all the old discontinued flavors
Our visit was fun, our guide was a
guy with beard, been there for 8 years ( sorry I don't remember your name) quite entertaining, really knew his facts. He is real good at his job. Ice cream was pretty awesome also!
The tour was worth the price simply for the free samples but it was entertaining, as well! If you're in the area, it's definitely worth the drive.
Fun for the kiddies and I enjoyed the ice cream after!
I think this the thing to do when you're in Vermont but it was VERY overrated. Tour was $4 and you couldn't take pictures. Not much of a tour.
Parked, walked the "campus", and like a kid disappointed, left as lines for tour and ice cream were each 80 people deep. Will plan ahead when lines are shorter, like during a freak hurricane.
Tour gives the high level information and see the actual stations where ice cream was made, but didn't quite actually see the making of the ice cream. Get an ice cream sample at the end. Go early, it gets busy. No pictures inside the tour.
The vanilla milkshake was malt and it was to die for
What's not to like? An inexpensive tour with ice cream!
Nice little guide, but also to significantly increase the one here a hype made it. You can do that, but do not miss it if you drive past it
Was working a client there nice people thats works there
It's the original and the ice cream definitely tastes different (better). Despite a wicked long line it moves very quickly.
Tasty, and pleasant smelling. Try to go on a weekday when they are actually producing ice cream.
Love this ice cream! The factory store is nice, well sanitized and they also have a lot of flavors to try. The tours are closed because of covid. Don't miss the flavor graveyard, it is a fun place to take pictures
As good as ever. The Ben & Jerry's tour is short and sweet (pun intended). The grounds are great for kids and the ice cream is, well, Ben & Jerry's. They need to do something about the coffee to earn the fifth star.
Excellent place, gives how Ben & Jerry started small and became big name in ice cream industry. Friendly staff
Excellent ... worth the tour (with sample) ... $ 4 ... has souvenir shop ... but parking could be better (but it's free)
I thought the tour would be more in depth than a micro brewery tour, but it is not. And there are no exclusive ice creams for the factory. Most everything learned can be googled
Wow! You have to wait an hour for a tour and almost as long to buy ice cream - on a Saturday in July anyway.
A commercialized zoo. This is not a small business. Tour buses stacked up, crowds. Find a local ice cream shop near you and eat something that didn't ride 2,000 miles in a truck.
Great place to wait in line for 30 minutes and have the company force their absurd political beliefs on you all over their walls, while patiently waiting six feet apart.
Delicious ice cream, and fun things for the whole family to see. There's educational displays for parents, and a playground for children. There's a lot of seating. The flavor graveyard is a must see. The only reason I'm rating them as a four is because their AC was out over July 4th weekend, otherwise, worth the visit.
Neat place! Awesome ice cream and info about Ben & Jerry's!
Great experience for Ben & Jerry's ice cream lovers
Love to visit here. A favorite for our family. The graveyard with retired ice cream flavors is cool. Of course, the best ice cream ever!
We were on a tight timeline, so we didn't wait to take the tour. There were 9 of us, so it was economical to get the "Vermonster" - 21 scoops of ice cream + lots of toppings in a huge bucket. Awesome!
Just ok. Long lines. Can get same Ice Cream much cheaper in stores
Didn't have time for a tour, but everyone was nice, and the ice cream was obviously delicious. Cool to see where it all came from
When I arrived at 10AM the first thing I did after buying my tickets for the tour was by ice cream. This place is an ice cream lover s dream. Plus you can see the cows outside basking the sun and taking in the green pasture. Buy your tickets early as it is a popular place. Plenty of parking so don t worry about that. Hope this helps!
They are doing a great job keeping everyone safe and socially distant. There are no tours of the factory but you can still get ice cream. There is a small souvenir stand outside. The 7 layer bar ice cream is delicious. I love coconut and there is plenty of that. Enjoy?
The factory was nice but they also have really good ice cream. Thanks Ben & Jerry
This was a fun tour and I liked how you got to see the manufacturing process of the ice cream.
Fun to visit these places where it all started. Things have sure changed over ther years, but it was fun to visit again.
A great place to take the kids or friends from out of town. The ice cream is as good as it gets. Lots of things to do around the property besides the tour, including a play ground, ice cream flavor graveyard, a few photo op areas, and a gift shop. A good stop in for tourists and locals alike.
Great ice cream and informative tour that lasts about 15mi ns. Kids over 12 pay $4 and you get a very small CUP of the flavor of the day.
Disappointed that there was only 1 flavor ice cream to sample at the end of the tour
Went during construction. Was a diy tour, took the excitement out of it doing it yourself. But it's great ice cream
