I wasn't able to go through the tour with my family because we had out dog with us. Totally understand why, being a food manufacturing plant. Still lots to enjoy outside and the rest of the family had a lot of fun.

Took a quick tour and enjoyed some delicious ice cream. Played at the playground and visited the flavor graveyard. Sue did a great job with our tour. Thanks for tons of fun for our entire family in one location!
First time to Ben and Jerrys. Was my older son's 13th birthday, so I let him order whatever he wanted and he chose a hot fudge Sunday. He almost cried when he saw how small it was. Very sad to witness his disappointment. Younger son got a cone and was happy. Yummy ice cream, so 3 stars.
Cool connection to Vermont grass roots, fun for kids, but getting a bit too commercialized imho
It was great! They do tours and they have a great play area for kids and places to take pictures! Ample parking. You can tie dye your own shirt! We got the Vermonster!
Took a tour! I was really excited just to see where the best ice cream gets made! The tasting at the end was cool. I also got more ice cream at the shop.
The idea location for dates/fun and any other general activity. They have a store, tours, samples of not yet released products and a ice cream shoppe. The store had such a wide array of fun items and the ice cream shoppe had unique creations including the Vermonster which is huge and a pretty good price!
Pretty small place, good for a brief visit if you happen to be in the area. Not worth the trip just for it.

I don't think that Ben and Jerry's needs to be explained, but you can't really go through Vermont without stopping at the factory. The tour was a little dull, I'm sure that they have a video of it online but if you made the trip you might as well do it.
The portion sizes are huge when you buy them and everyone working there is rather nice.

Paid for the tour but definitely did not enjoy it except for the last bit which was a tiny cup of free ice cream.
Advise you to skip the tour and just enjoy the ice cream and walk around the gift shop area.
Was expecting much more from the tour but it was very limited in terms of what you can see, and the style of the tour was very theatrical which wasn't to my liking.

you can't beat this ice-cream! Its so good! The environment is neat too. The only dowfall is the price. When you eat Ben & Jerry's icecream, expect to pay a hefty price for a really quality taste.

Tour was nice. No ice cream in production the few separate times I have taken tour. In factory tours I would rank a 1 star. Overall I would give it 4 because it is not horrible and does support local people with jobs

Short tour with a video and a sample. Pretty darn busy on a Tuesday in the afternoon during the school year. Playground out back near the flavor graveyard. Tour felt rushed and I don't know if it was worth the price. Maybe just a bit too touristy for us.
Tour is educational and fun. The flavor graveyard where dead flavors are buried is a must see!

If you are in the area worth the ride. It has playground for children. Burlington is very close. Between Burlington and Montpelier prefer to stay in Burlington.
The place is beautiful and the visit to the Ben & Jerry factory is fun, it lasts about an hour if you stop by the stop is fun.
Save yourself. The tour shows you a video, some stainless steel pipes, and then you get a half scoop of ice cream. They also have the nerve to charge money for this which is also strange considering the founders' outspoken political views. Isn't capitalism wonderful Ben and Jerry?
Awesome place to bring the family on a day trip out to Waterbury-Stowe. The gift shop is pricey.
Interesting tour at a roadside attraction. Very clean facilities. I rated the 4 due to the $4 tour fee. In my opinion there should be no charge. It's B&J's opportunity to sell is more ie cream
I suppose this is great if you're a true fan. It's also probably better in the warmer weather, or with small kids. Tour was ok, but nothing special.
I really expected more out of this factory tour. Yes I know most people go for the small sample in the end, but I want to know about the process of making ice cream and not just watch grainy video clips and people walking around from atop an observation deck. Plus, the tour guide pushes you along so quickly that you have no time to take in what you're seeing.
The rest of the facility is nice, but the tour was lacking.

Try the Maple Walnut ice cream, not available in stores! Totally worth the trip alone. Wander around to see the flavor graveyard and learn about the history of B&J's. Didn't get a chance to do the tour, but now I have a reason to visit again.
Tour of factory took 5 minutes and then bought a scoop of over priced ice cream after waiting in long line.
the line for ice cream is something out of a horror movie, it wraps around for miles. my suggestion is unless you want to wait an hour for a scoop of ice cream visit the gas station down the road.
I love ben & jerry's and the only thing that makes it better are the employees.
Had my proposal here at the tour, staff was extremely accommodating and enthusiastic to be apart of it! The tour itself is entertaining, informative, and comes complete with ice cream taste test, sometimes with one of a kind flavors not available anywhere else.
5/5 highly recommended for the Ben and Jerry's lovers.
A fun place to stop and see how Ben and Jerry's is made. You also learn the history of the company. Of course you get some ice cream on the tour, but their scoop shop is there if you want more. Depending on when you go, you may find a wait for the tours. If there is, just get your tickets and then go to the flavor graveyard, playground, or look around the store.
Took the tour and had sample cookies and cream ice cream. We also had lg dish or a sundae but that was a bit pricey. Tour $4 then the treat $5. Yummy.

The tour was alright. Pretty short and not much to see, but they give you ice cream at the end so I guess it's worth 4 bucks. Definitely do not wait for the tour if there's a line. Just buy ice cream.

Tours were booked straight for 3 hours before we arrived. Everything extremely overpriced. Very expensive.
It's a fun place to stop on the way to somewhere else. A half hour factory tour. You can get ice cream and make tie dye shirts.
We had a great time here. The tour was inexpensive and worth the wait. We just go out ice cream first! Make sure you take a walk to the flavor grave yard!

I had PB double chocolate in the plain waffle.
I liked because it is a kind of chewy and good sweet. Waffles tasted crispy and freshy.
I didn't take its tour but it is worth to visit and have a scoop of icecream because of its taste and wide open nature view. I had a great time.
