First time stopping at the plant after many visits to Vermont. Good tour that was informative and quick. Kinda bummed that there isn't any actual production on the weekends, but we got to see a lot of people cleaning the production facility as well as an ice cream sample. It was great to have cone and check out the tombstones of the "retired" flavors.

Tour is quick but informative, learned things I had not known prior to the tour and helped me gain more respect for the company and what it stands for.

Plus, it's ice cream for goodness sake. How bad could it really be?

My friends and I headed to the Ben & Jerry's factory tour after a nearby hike. It was neat to see the factory process. We also enjoyed seeing what happens when the machinery is not working quite as planned. I'm not sure if any of us heard anything that the tour guide said as we watched the action on the factory floor. The tour was definitely worth the time, cost, and amazing ice cream sample at the end.

Ben and Jerry's factory visit is a fun visit in vermont. They have a factory tour where they first show you a short video about their history and then they show you their production line and in the end they have free icecream samples. It was fun to learn about their brand and how they grew. And also they have a icecrema shop outside where they have most of their flavors. We had brownie sundae and it was yum!

We went back after some 18 years ....visited from California. The visitors center got a bit of a makeover but the Vermont charm was unchanged. The kids liked the little movie, the factory tour as well as the delicious use cream. Their sense of humor remained unchanged!!!!!!!

Great family trip. The tour is cheap and educational. It lasts about 30 min. The ice cream was worth the trip. There are 5 of is so we each got a different flavor to try. There are flavors they don't sell in the store there. Definitely worth the money.

Simon was our tour guide, and what a wonderful job he did! Friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, he did a great job answering her questions and telling us about Ben and Jerry's history and their mission.

Underwhelming. For one of the most successful businesses in the world, very poor facilities. The tour was a let down. Very short and crowded. Too pay for the experience was a rip off. Gift shop was very small. Not worth the time invested. Should have visited other venues in the area instead that we're free. Do not recommend.

Ice cream was good... tour was bad. 1st a hippy brain washing video then a view of the floor n loud so you can't hear the tour guide. Guide had some corny jokes which was funny but don't wait for the tour not worth the time. The BlueBell tour in Texas was much better.

This place is freaking awesome. We were very surprised how affordable the tour was. ($4 for adults $3 for children) The first part of the tour is an informational video about the story of Ben and Jerry's. Next was a muezzin where the production of their ice cream was talked about. The last part of the tour was a taste test, where they let us sample ice cream, and it was fantastic. Don't forget the free high fives! Our tour guides name was Will and he was fantastic. We can't emphasize how nice and knowledgeable Will was. The tour itself is pretty short which is good and then afterwards you can get something from the gift shop. If you really want to get the best experience, stop at the ice cream stand near the entrance for some fantastic ice cream. Could not recommend this more!

What I don't like is being indoctrinated by a business started by a couple of hippies, on civil rights and the saint hood of Martin Luther king Jr. Come on...I came to see an ice cream factory not to be preached to about liberal issues! The ice cream was really good, however I won't purchase again, after that stunt. Try keeping your politics to yourself folks!

Tour was 4 bucks per adult kids were free...they show a video and then bring you into a room overlooking the factory. They play another video explaining the process and the stations are numbered on the factory floor so its easy to see where everything they are talking about actually is. Then you get a free sample. Kids had fun...adults had fun. You can buy ice cream on site...but it's pricey. There is a pretty awesome playground on the property and a nice tent near that if you wanted to do a picnic lunch.

Chip Happens is probably the greatest ice cream ever made. I can never find it in stock in Boston area stores anymore. Thank god they still make it and have it here. It is so perfectly sweet and salty and all blends together so well.

There's really not much to see here. The tour is pretty funny. A short left wing propaganda film, an overview of the production area, (which, unless you are a chemical engineer, isn't terribly interesting) and some ice cream at the end. You're better off just spending the 4 dollars on a pint of ice cream, which is top notch.

What a fun way to spend the afternoon! It was pouring rain during our visit so we couldn't really enjoy the outdoor activities however had plenty of fun inside. The 30 minute tour was very informative and even held our 4yr old's attention. There is a short film at the beginning, an observation deck and then down to the tasting room. Afterwards you can visit the gift shop as well as get your own treat from the stand. It was quite a bit of fun and well worth the few dollars for our family to get in. 4 and under are free, adults are $4 each and seniors are $3.

The gift shop is adorable and pretty great, and the tour was quirky and cute! Nice to see a company so open about its practices.
