I was impressed with the lodge and the service/staff. We went for snow tubing which was jolly good fun! There's a resort as well which looked impressive and included an outdoor (heated) pool. I'll be back to this place...
Bear Creek is a nice ski resort, been coming here for years. Even though it is a great ski resort, the prices are a little over priced. Especially for the season pass. The slopes are nothing special, the black diamonds aren't bad at all. Its just the only thing I have a problem with is staying on the ski lift more than actually skiing. I would not mind paying over $400 for a season pass if it was a bigger slope but like I said your on the lift more than you are skiing. I've been to Colorado and have been on 10x the size of these and they do not charge near as much. I understand you are not open no where near as long as them, but that doesn't mean you should also charge an arm and a leg to. Overall the resort is updated and clean. Nice place to take the family.
I like the mountain..im a "bluish-green" kinda gal so the runs are just fine by me till I get the hang and then I will want to be challenged...the place is very clean and manicured..the staff are friendly and the food is pretty good...and i LOVE its only a hr away from Philly...
I was there for a health expo. There was a breakfast buffet. The workers at Bear Creek Mountain were great. Very friendly and I observed that they were very busy accommodating guest there for the expo.
Although it is early in the season, the mountain already had 8 trails open and it wasn't too crowded. Staff was extremely friendly and service was speedy. Had a great time!
Normally I would rate Bear Creek a 4-5 star but after my last experience it is hard for me to give it 2 stars. I have stayed at this resort at least 6 times and even when we don't stay over night we still utilize the spa. Upon checking in this week we found a used condom in our bed (disgusting). When we brought the complaint the the front desk they informed us that they would discount the room and move us to another room. They did move us to an upgraded room (which we did not ask for) but did not take care of the cost of the room which would have been much more appropriate for the incident. I called 2 days later and spoke with the front desk manager who acted like she did us a major favor by upgrading our room. Ive never stayed anywhere that if there is something wrong to that extent would not take care of it. $280 on a room for a night plus a few hundred more on dining etc.. I will not be returning to bear creek based on this last experience.
Best, most cozy lodge. The lodge is clean, large and has multiple fireplaces. The food in the cafe is a little pricey but worth it. The pro-shop is great. If you are doing green runs avoid Broadway-lots of flat spots.
I come here often. Weekdays and weeknights are less crowded then the weekends. Great place for family. The have kid's service and everything else you would want for a ski resort.
Had my daughters wedding here. From start to finish everything was well organized. We chose the Lodge which was beautiful! Our coordinator Theresa was very good at her job and well organized and accommodating. Everything we dropped off the night before was set up to our exact specific instructions. Our captian for the event Jordan was amazing. It s like he read our minds. I never needed to ask for a thing. All night he made sure everything was smooth and amazing. If I had one sip left of my drink he was there with another! The food from appetizers to dinner was nothing short of delightful and delicious. At the end of the event everything was packed up for us and waiting for my daughter and her new husband upon check out. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Very spacious. The breakfast buffet the next morning was delicious! Only critique on that was the waffles already had a syrup on them which I have to watch the amount due to diabetes. Everyone who left was very impressed with the venue from the rooms, to the Lodge, to the food! All in all from our first visit to check out the next day far exceeded our expectations! Bravo Bear Creek!
Clean and new construction. Pools are big and clean. Not run-down in the slightest. This place is huge. Will definitely be coming back in the winter for snow tubing. 20 mins from dorney park.

Was there for my nephew's wedding. The room was great, food was great and the staff was very attentive to the guests. If I had to give a negative, it would be that the staff needs to smile more, but they were all very nice and professional.
Some good facilities and a great track for snow tubing! It was busy so it was hard getting multiple runs in but that wasn't the worst thing. We did have a 12:30pm start, they didn't start us until 12:40p and finished us up 10min early. I feel like we missed out on time with no compensation.
First time ever getting on a snowboard and members of the staff made it a fun experience. Pricey, but understandable because this is an event that people dont do every day
They have everything you need for a weekend getaway for neighboring areas. Staffs were very efficient in the lift and rental areas. The waitress was very accommodating, but not hostesses. It's why we gave them four stars, we had an reservations at the restaurant at 6:30. When we got there, they told us that we didn't have one. After back and forth, and showed them our reservations via the phone, they finally sat us. Overall we definitely go back, but very hesitantly books the restaurant.
The bar and restaurant (The Lodge) were both incredible. The servers were all so great and the food, especially the prime rib and wild mushroom bolognese, was amazing. Hotel rooms were very roomy and comfortable. The pool was open for night swimming and was a very warm temperature and the hot tub was open as well.
Great lodge, for relaxing and unwinding the maountain is half bad either, I mean it 's no Killington but it offers a nice variety, great for day trips.
We had some issues in the beginning with booking and a few inconsistencies with the responses we received, however the manager Sean responded to me and took care of everything more than I could have ever asked for. He took ownership of everything accepted responsibility for them and apologized. We finally were able to book our stay and had a wonderful time. Everyone was extremely friendly in person and were very accommodating. I will definitely be back and hope everyone stays safe!
Went for the spa and dinner after. Our experience was amazing at the spa with the massage, complimentary glass of wine and hot tub. After the spa, dinner didn't disappoint with perfectly cooked steaks. Recommend to anyone!
Absolutly fantastic. Had a great time. Good place for both beginners and for more advanced ed skiers and riders. Nicest lodge I've seen in pa yet. Can't wait to go back.
We love this place for a short get away but I m giving this 3 stars because people are smoking at the outside pool which is disgusting for the rest of us who don t smoke!
We took the family for snow tubing, kids had fun. Slow getting back to the top, most of the 2 hour session is standing in line. Staff working the snow tubing could use some customer service training.
Ski resort atmosphere, live Jazz music, outstanding food, a little too pricey - the round of beers after the meal cost almost as much as the meal itself. The filet mignon was adequately prepared but the meat wasn't grass fed. Service was outstanding.
Great overall snowboarding experience. The Adventure package is an excellent start for beginners to get used to Skiing/Snowboarding. Great overall staff, as well as guides to recommend which slopes to take depending on the person's skill level. Would recommend for any age.
For a small mountain they always make a Ton of snow. Friendly staff and good beer in the bars. Beautiful resort for weekend getaway and a short drive for a day of Riding.
