Baywatch Resort Gao Reviews

Stayed for three days in this resort. Rooms are spacious. Best part is it's vicinity to a beautiful beach which presents a wonderful site in morning and sunset view in the evening. Food is ok. Service is a bit delayed but it is understandable because of rooms located at distance. Overall good for the budget.

It's good but... The swimming timings should be extended by little.

Average hotel. The hotel was having smelly rooms. Rooms were not at all spacious. Food quality and taste was average. Hotel is near to beach.

Very unprofessional behavior. Had to me multiple request for small stuff like menu etc. Highly disappointed.

Awesome place to enjoy the serenity and ethnicity of goa. Built very close to the sernabatim beach in a perfect old school goan locality the house and their architecture around is mesmerising. It's a perfect place for couples to cherish their love. The crowd is adequate. The staff and managers take care of all your needs. You have activity managers to arrange various events on request. All along with the facilities and luxuries such as live grill, sauna room, pool side assistance, pool accessories provided.

Dark and dusky .Poor reception .They don't pick up phone.

This resort is a good place for a family or Corporate outings. It offers a touch of calmness and peace as it is a bit distant from main city and very near to a wonderful less crowded Beach. Breakfast buffet is good. Only sad part is that they offer only 1 litre complimentary water per room. Regular filtered water is not available, guests have to purchase any extra drinking water.

Nice enough, caters mostly for Indian conference parties and groups. They try but I would struggle to recommend for tourists.

Hotel now geared up for corporate functions and weddings. Felt overcrowded at times.

Hygiene is a big issue in this so called Resort. Ants not only in the room but also in the Mini Fridge. Not recommended for families. Avoid booking this resort. My kid took a Cadbury chocolate from the mini fridge which had ants all over it.

The staff is another level of non hospitality the staff at the reception needs to take course in soft skills and how to speak to guest. The resort is always looking for ways to earn money. They don t even allow dominos to enter the premises so that guest can feel another level of discomfort and force them to buy food from inside on top of that Restaurant table are not cleaned mess all over.

Very worst for check in as this is my second time experience with this hotel

Pathetic.. think twice before booking... Worst room service... They charged for ice and toothpaste.. towels were stinking.... Too small gallery.. don't expect good food... Dinner not up to the standard of four star hotel... Overall doesn't look like four star hotel...

Good resort with reasonable rooms.
1. Palms resturant is good. Food is tasty. You have options for both la carte as well as buffet. La carte will be expensive. Buffet charges for dinner is Rs600 plus taxes and lunch Rs500 plus taxes. Child below 4 years is free in buffet. They have a bar as well.
2. Swimming pool is clear with max depth of 4 feet with attached children pool. They are strict in temrs of swimwear and you need to buy their swimwear if you do not have nylon ones. For ladies swimear they will charge Rs550 for the swimwear which i thought was extremely high. But then u can take the cloth.
3. Nice garden area with rooms spread across.
4. Beach is 300 meters away and there is actually no good view of sea from room. But Sernabatin beach is extremely nice and clean. There is virtually no crowd.
5. Good resturants around the hotel are there which gives you more options apart from hotel resturant.
6. Travel desk can support on taxi bookings. Rates Rs2200 for first 80 km . then Rs 16 for every km. After 6 night charges of Rs 100 applicable per hour. After 9 pm night charges per hour of Rs 300 applicable.
7. Hotel provides pickup and drop facility if u stay for 3 or more nights.
8. There is no ATM or medical shops nearby.
9. All the rooms have balcony.

Overall hotel is good. Staff is friendly. Can improve further on cleanliness.

Nearby Beach is the major attraction.

I will definately stay here again.

This 4 star Property (resort) named 'Baywatch Beach Resort' located in South Goa is simply commendable when it comes to high quality rooms, top notch quality food and 5 star service.
The place itself is very clean ,located in a beautiful place and has a clean pool.
You can't get these much benefits at such a fair price.
All in all , a very highly recommended place.

1. Delay in providing room.
2. No staff to accompany till the room.
3. Access card key not working to open the door.
4. No bottled water kept in room.
5. Reception staff are not knowledgeable enough to understand the query.
6. Sudden change in venue for breakfast without any notice.
7. Need to improve on food too.

Great stay at bay watch resort,I have been there with my family with my 2 year old son,we enjoyed a lot, great facilities, neat and clean rooms,good house keeping service,helpful staffs,all modern amenities available at one place,beach at walking distance, awesome food, delicious morning breakfast,neat and clean swimming pool,taxi available just from hotel for too and fro.......nice wheathe ,we truely enjoyed stay at this hotel ,I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I want to visit it again

I would not recommend this resort to my worst enemy!!
I found this resort to be dirty, the staff members unwelcoming and quite rude.
The bar staff repeatedly messed up my order to the point where I was convinced it was deliberate.
On one occasion I witnessed a girl of around 15 - 16 yrs old, being man handled from the premises by resort staff. When I enquired as to why she was being removed I was told that she belonged to a lower class, minority and such people should not be entitled to use this resort. I found this to be disgusting and checked out on this day.

Pathetic service. Lot of lag in room service Food has no taste at all. No toothbrush no toothpaste made available. It's a namesake 4 star hotel. AC doesn't work. Hospitality is zerograde. Called up room service at around 8 pm fr ice and glasses.. reply was it's chargeable. I was very much surprised to hear that ice is chargeable in a 4 star hotel and to astonish me there are no towels and glasses either to drink water. Alot of North Indians run around wearing banyan's and inner garments including lungis in restaurant and pool.. downgrading the stars. Over all no coordination among staff. I would rate it hardly one star. Owner need to keep an eye on management and coordination

Our family grp of 14 people recently stay at the resort during 7th Aug to 11 aug
Same days thier is one of the india company s sale meeting and resort dose not have separate facilities for them and all the guest are not up to the mark for 3star resort and ladies and children are not feel safe during the stay
So our grp and others family guest already spoiled their vacation.
Local menagment are poor and they dont took any action on it and almost 30 to 40 guests are not happy with that

So please inquire to the resort before book

Very good according to service and staff is also polite. Hotel is also clean and facilities are also good

.The stay is worth it the dinner buffet is small.nothing to do..no entertainment no kids activities just rest.

The rooms are really nice and clean.. I had come with group.. I would definitely like to come with my family.. The room charges are very reasonable .. The front office department is really nice and helpful... Nice place to visit

This booking I did through GoIbibo. Go ibibo staff is least supportive. Please do niether take service of Bay watch nor Go Ibibo.
1. Resort is good but rooms are not. Very small and interior not good.
2. They join two single beds to make it double bed.
3. Its not peacefull. Very crowdy. Some times you need to wait for your turn in cafeteria.
4. Housekeeping is not on time.
5. Issue of cable connections, tv remote, AC remote.
6. Stay at baywatch is like a nirmal bus stand type hotel for that you pay 5000 + Rs per night.
7. Late night party for private groups make night very noisy.
8. Baywatch provide transport for pick n drop to airport to those Guest who stay there for 3 nights but its Shuttle, mini bus in which AC dont work.
Dont make anu assumption that they will provide you any hetchback or sefan type cab.

Have stayed here once before, wonderful resort and location in South Goa. Many options in the vicinity of the resort for a family or friends outing

Suite rooms are very good and specious. People working in the resort are very nice and humble.while check in you will be getting a nice complementary drink by the time you will be doing document work.Staff members will help you out with your luggages.

What a lovely place to visit, considerably the best choice i felt after staying here for 2 days with my family. Everything was upto the mark, the pool, food, staff friendliness and their approach was really good. Thank you for everything.

Terrible service, food is average. The hotel is cute and very green and is a 100m walk away from Sernabatim beach.

Okay type place, room is comfortable. We were on MAP (plan) which included breakfast and another meal. We went to the restaurant for dinner but were totally disappointed to see only Gujarati food. There was nothing else to choose from. Very basic food for the kind of tariff they charge. Also the bathroom was smelly throughout.

We went for a family get together 16 at Baywatch resort. We with my family,we enjoyed a lot. The food was excellent and rooms are good and tidy. From room balcony has a great view of swimming pool and sernabatim beach.

Excellent welcome service to start. Baywatch is a great manager and he breathes Four Seasons.

Absolutely beautiful resort with a wide variety of things to do, from restaurants to excursions. Great location - all main attractions close by. But don t really need to leave the resort as it serves most purposes.

Room are very clean and decent. The pool is fun. Food is very nice and is reasonably priced. Beach is walking distance from the hotel. The property is kids, couple and family friendly.

Just checked in and had the worst experience ever in the hotel. Had to compulsorily pay 10k for the new year celebration party which does not even include drinks. I was not even asked before either by Goibibo (worst experience with Goibibo as well) or hotel to pay this extra compulsory amount when I booked the hotel just for stay. I had to pay 10k before check-in though I told them that I am here for a different plan and don't want to attend their party. Staff is not at all co-operative for anything and were not able to understand anything and simply wants to get money for the party and extra for the drinks. Hoping to write a more detailed experience which I will definitely share post my 2 days stay here (as I have already paid almost 23k now).

Good location, good infrastructure, but bad staff and bad food.
