This is the Home Office for WINNERS HomeSense and Marshalls. It's a great place to work. The work life balance is very good . The building and the amenities themselves are nothing short of amazing.
Went to a homesense last week found the exact table I was looking for and went to get on the weekend it was out of stock. I have a photo of the tag & the table. I phoned around to different locations in my area they couldn't find anything at their locations, and pretty much all locations where extremely helpful. One in Oakville suggested I call their head office because he has heard they have helped a customer find what they where looking for. So after calling 8 different locations, I tried calling head office and left a message with them. I just received a voicemail back from them. They can't help me out because they don't have a digital system to find products they sell. So that was a bust, totally upset that I won't get my PERFECT table/stools. And sorry to you homesense that will now lose a $350 sale to another online store.
I had the worst and final shopping experience last night at the Winners location in Okotoks .
I'm usually not one to write a bad review but the staff and manager at this location are the worst.
I went in to return a shirt that I had bought a couple weeks ago. I had miss placed my receipt and knew it would just be placed on a gift card , I was okay with that.
I went up to the till and explained to the young man that I had no receipt, he asked to see my driver's license, I showed him my license, he then went to record my license number in the computer. I proceeded to stop him and told him it was illegal to do that.
He was extremely rude and told me he could what he wanted. And if he couldn't record my number I couldn't return my item.
I became extremely frustrated and told him I can return my item.
He called a manager and when she came up it got even worse.
She told me I knew nothing and was wrong , we had a discussion and eventually returned the item and put it on a gift card. BUT NOT BEFORE SHE TREATED ME LIKE A THEIF IN FRONT OF EVERYONE STANDING THERE !!!!! She then told me to hang onto my receipts then this wouldn't happen.
I have a couple questions for you at head office
With all identity fraud why would you even think that you can record someone's personal information!!!!
And if didnt need my drivers license to buy the shirt why oh why would I need my license to return it !!!!
Its disgusting how you think you can treat people like I was treated, and after this I'll be taking my buisness else where. Also I'll be letting all my family and friends know exactly what happened so they wont shop there anymore either !!!!
REALLY WINNER'S THIS IS THE LAST STRAW !!!
I am in great shock to be treated the way I was treated today at your winners store in the st-Dorothy Laval I was told by a cashier that she was not obliged to speak to me in English and that she refused to speak to me if I would continue speaking to her in English I demanded managers and got two other French-speaking until they realized that I was getting insulted and bothered as a customer not being spoke to the language of my liking then they decided to get a bilingual manager therefore I told them that us customers make the stores work
Not impressed with Homesense. I was looking for an item that I recently purchased, I was placed on gold passed on to another employee who was very rude and was told that they would not check to see if item was in store as its against company policy. I spoke with Devon at head quarters and was told it is not company policy, yet if management wants to install this policy thats fine. As a customer I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the company and that they didn't have the extra minute. It's a two hour drive for me to physically check if an item is in store. Thanks I will be giving all of my future business to Wayfair.ca who delivers straight to my door and most importantly has exceptional customer service. If homesense didn't have paying customers you wouldn't have jobs. Poor customer service and people skills, just looks bad when your representing a company.
