Desserts really yummy. Bit expensive and extremely noisy. Music way too loud

This place is terrible, bad service and horrible desserts and over priced. Deserts are oversized and just not good at all. They need to hire proper waitstaff and not children!!

The restaurant close at 13:00
I gave order downstairs as there was nobody at top to take order and no sign on counter informing the top floor is closed for order and service.
I have order a desert down and mention our group of 13 is seated upstairs. The person who took order had no issue.
However the lady who bought our order upstairs was upset and mention we don't serve upstairs as we stop taking order. This was a pathetic behaviour.
You could have got 5star. Lost one because of poor hospitality.

It's all about the size, not the quality. Rocky Mountain desert, basically 3 types of Ice creams, cream, chocolate sauce etc mixed together in a gigantic bowl. Caramel cheesecake of your typical commerical baking.

Such a decadent delicious dessert place! Any place with fishbowl sized serving dishes is a place you want to bring your friends. You'll need to save up though as it is definitely priced as a treat joint. You need to order at the counter which is a little annoying, but if you sit upstairs the line is shorter. A word of warning though, a friend of mine tested the water bottles for alkalinity and it came up pretty acidic, so don't buy the bottled water there. Other than that, if you want to spoil someone or enjoy a bucket of ice cream with friends come here.

Every visit varies but i will stick to the 5 star.

Pancake are still good but not as good as they use to be.

Ive been here many times in the last few months with my partner since we drive past it so often. This is definitely one of the most satisfying and filling dessert places i've visited. I came here pretty often during the peak covid times so most of my orders were takeaway.

The presentation of the place is pretty, and has plenty of seats for dine-ins. Wait staff are usually nice but they look stressed a lot of time tbh, and the counter staff are always spot on too, never had a problem. Peak times are always at night and on fridays through sunday, which get ridiculously busy and littered with P platers. Definitely better off popping in on a weekday afternoon or night

We always get the chocbery crepe and strawbana waffles whenever we go there now, since it appeals to us the most. The prices they charge may seem pricey at the time but it is definitely worth, since portions are so large that you'd definitely come out of this full and satisfied af. The strawbana waffles are always on point, and looks just as good as it tastes. I've probably had the waffles for the past 3 times ive visited here, and the quality has always been consistent. They are always baked well and blends perfectly with the fruits, and the sauce of your choice, which is milk chocolate in my case. The strawberries and bananas are never in shortage, and given in plentiful amounts. You cannot never go wrong with this one.

I've also tried the Inca Gold before, which was priced a little bit more than the waffles. It was definitely not as satisfying as the waffles however, since the portions had looked smaller and the majority of it was ice cream. Nonetheless, theres nothing wrong with trying new things and it was pretty tasty.

Definitely one of my goto spots for dessert in the whole of sydney, since the many others ive been to does not even compare to what this place offers.

Rude customer service by Manager. Stood at the doors no greeting ,turned off me and my family.
Waited 45 mins for crepes and received cold.
Never returning again would not recommend .
Dessertz in the corner is a must to try in Brighton Le Sands . Such a shame Bayvista

Havent been to this place for years and the price got me shocked a little bit .. always packed in the weekends afternoon till late.

High quality chocolate bar. The staff just need to be more friendly!

Why am i only finding out about this place just now after 4 years in Sydney......this place is amazing.

Used to be one of the best cafe in Sydney, was known for its famous desserts and very late night trading as a cafe. However, these days the place is just way too below average place! The place seems to hire bad staff, bad management, may be the owners don t pay enough for good staff to hang around here long enough, whatever the problems are, this place needs to lift their game up big time to keep up with other places in the area and the rest of Sydney in this industry!!

Bay Vista is predominantly a dessert cafe; and a very busy one at that. It s a great place to meet up with friends for a hot or cold beverage and some yummy desserts; there s lots to choose from, including ice cream, pancakes and waffles. The giant chocolate fountain behind the bar is definitely an eye catcher.

Great venue for desserts of all kinds and servings are very generous. Definitely something for most people but unfortunately not the best place for anyone with allergies of any kind including coeliacs like me. Would be great to see some gluten free options included on the menu in the near future.

Awesome food great night. Stay away from the ice mocha the glass is like 60 - 70% filled with cream.

This is one of the best dessert places in Sydney! It is great with a group of friends or for something sweet to eat on a date. It is very busy and sometimes quite difficult to park on weekends so make sure you get in early. If you sit upstairs you have to go down to order but other than that the layout and atmosphere is quite good

A nice place with plenty of great tasting desserts! A little bit on the expensive side, but it will surely satisfy any sugar craving you have. The service is pretty standard, you pay for what you want at the counter and have them bring it to you, so don't expect it to blow you away. They have so many choices it's unbelievable! The menus feel more like novels and you'll be spending ages deciding on what you want to get!

I've been heaps, and will continue to go. The deserts are awesome and the drinks good too. But they keep jacking the price up, it's now $50 for two deserts. Two.

We ordered the Ice Cream Fondue for 2 & some Ice tea! Overall the food was great! Really good if you have a sweet tooth! Service was quick and easy.

However. The music was way too loud. I was a little concerned about the lack of social distancing being maintained. Overall a great place for a dessert night !

Desserts are a bit too sweet for my taste but the presentation and taste was flawless.

Very nice ice creams, waffles, chocolates and milkshakes. Its a bit pricey but the portions are large. Staff are kind and helpful, and there is always plenty of room to relax even in busy days.

Although a bit pricey, the place serves some really nice desserts. When I was there for their anniversary, they had a dj jamming the store and free pancakes. The pancakes were good and so were the various drinks on offer.

I tried to order an iced coffee- just coffee, ice, and milk- not the whole ice- cream and whipped cream shebang. Still got charged $9.50. Most expensive ice ever.

This is a great place! Perfect for an afternoon coffee and a book, and just as perfect for a big family get together! The dishes are huuuugeee, so even though it's not cheap it's definitely worth it for the quantity! Grab a sundae to share and soak in the Brighton-le-sands vibes!

The food was great, the staff was absolutely disgusting, attitude from one waitress to another. Eat here for the food but not for the service.

Dessert was nice. Alil pricey but servings are big. Disappointed that you have to order & pay first especially because you pay a far bit I expected to get table service..also alil annoyed cause there were so many waiters walking around checking up on you every 2 minutes. It would have been nice to enjoy our food without being interrupted every few minutes.

A great place for a cappuccino and a sweet treat after dinner. So many desserts, so little time. You are spoiled for choice here if you have a sweet tooth. The fondue for two is insane, it's just so delicious. They sell savory food as well, so here is something for most tastes. Well worth a looksee.

Good food, but inefficient wait-staff system. Two servers asked me if they could remove my number from my table. I refused because I was still waiting for the rest of my order.

The desserts are beautiful, delicious and exceptional. The only downfall to this dessert bar is how expensive the desserts are but I can see why considering the great value of these desserts.

Paid $20 for a waffle that had a big chunk of overpowered peanut butter on top. I should have had peanut butter from the tub INSTEAD LOL

If you have a sweet tooth it is perfect, but the music is too loud... it would be ok at night but the music was way too loud for 11 in the morning, it was really annoying.

Nice ambience however everytime we visit staff are extremely rude! I ordered a frappe and I received a coffee scented water which was dripping all over the table and floor. While we were sitting there the waiter kept on walking around and looking at us like we have done something wrong to him, I don't understand why the owner doesn't stress this more to the staff considering the other comments on the awful customer service.

Really wanna like this place as it looked cute from the outside but as soon as we walked in to this place, instantly realised we are not gonna get any service here whatsoever! It took more than 5 minutes for a staff to say hello, they all just were running around like headless chickens! Barista seemed too cool to say hi, my partner looked at the menu while we were still waiting to be greeted, she nodded and mentioned overpriced menu not even worth trying if they can t even give us simple greetings! We walked across further up the street and had an amazing service instead! We wouldn t recommend to waste your money here!

This place has some amazing desserts and coffee but do not misunderstand it to be like any other cafe. It has some real exotic varieties of desserts and sandwiches. The price of most things is reasonable compared to the portions and quality. The ambience is really warm and welcoming. Located just opposite Brighton-Le-Sands beach its the perfect place has a warm hot chocolate in the winter. I loved all their food, beverages and desserts. I would strongly recommend to visit this place.

Three stars generous. No where near as good as it used to be. Warm ice coffee..? Warm water...chilled $2. The ice cream was good..i suppose you cant get that wrong. Service...there was none.
