Way too overrated. Horrible customer service, staff don t believe in smiling, maybe they don t get treated right and they re miserable.
If you are in a group of 6, you get crammed upstairs like sheep, you can hardly walk from lack fo space, it s super hot we were going to suffocate and the noise is next level bad. I don t understand why it s popular. You re paying premium prices for below average products and a poor service.

Unique family friendly place to service all your sweet cravings. Massive restaurant and massive menu with desserts only! Had the famous ice cream bowl. Pretty epic, definitely to be shared between 2 or 3 or 4 or more.

Nice desserts ! Too much to chose from really.. the pancakes were alittle on the dry flakey side . The choc mousse is divine ! And so is the pavlova! It is very loud and busy here but has a nice summer vibe . Will be back to try other desserts for sure .

Awesome spot for late night hangout. Bought the ice cream bowl and cheesecake. Ice cream bowl looks great and the quantity is huge, but basic ice cream. The NY cheesecake is brilliant - yummy!

No words to describe other than unbelievably delicious desserts. Tried the "Triple choc mud cake" with the chocolate fondu and was blown away and off into another world. I'll in no doubt be coming back soon. However the front man of the bar could've been nicer as he didn't make a great first impression.

3 stars for a good atmosphere, but honestly, you can buy better desserts from Adli. Crepes are good though. Apple crumble is terrible. Been here a handful of times with my girlfriend, and each time one of us ends up not eating their dessert. 50/50 chance of choosing something enjoyable.

The deserts are alright. The prices are a bit high. The service is fine, nothing great. The seating is very cramped and tiny. Not much room on the tables. Chairs aren't too comfortable. The ice creams taste pretty great and are great quality.

Came by for an after dinner dessert feast with family and friends. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the popularity with customers yet we were quickly seated as the staff were well organised in ensuring customers were looked after We were seated on the second level and enjoyed a very comfortable vibe while dining. This place is surely a dessert and chocolate lovers diners delight.

Besides this place being super busy like every single night and having such a difficult time finding parking, the best desserts I ve had and the only dessert place I ll ever go to and recommend to others.

Edit: After coming here a few times and experiencing the poor service, definitely not coming back anymore. The desserts made it okay for a while but that's that. Our order was given to a table who didn't even order the item, they didn't even realise their mistake when the customer looked surprised - I could see this the whole time - we waited for ages waiting for them to realise - no one did - I then had to approach one of the teen staff members lazing around chatting to another staff member on a busy Sunday afternoon - she went "OOoooOh", as the tube light finally turned on regarding their mistake. Absolutely no apologies or anything was given after waiting for so long. All not-so-bright teens I'm afraid. On top of that the dessert made me feel sick. You've lost a few customers that's for sure.

Staff were friendly, desserts were nice and presented pretty. It's a nice atmosphere with the beach view just across the road. The place is alive while not being to busy. My friends and I had heaps of fun and can't wait to try what else is on the menu.

I cannot get enough of Bay Vista. They provide great food, quick service and the second floor is a nice and quiet for hanging out with friends. I've now tried most of the dessert bowls and they are always worth the money as they are absolutely to die for! The pancakes as well are great, especially the mascarpone and blueberry ones.

One of the best places for Ice creams. The menu has a very wide selection of various tastes and combinations you can imagine. Located on two floors on the Grand parade. Gets very crowded during peak times and weekends.

Bad customer service. Expected more from a well-known and established business!!!!

We usually attend Bay Vista on weekends with my family. I ordered a large coffee but they brought me a small. I requested my order corrected was advised it would be. After waiting for 15 minutes I went to the counter to see what was happening as we were almost ready to leave and the Manager of Bay Vista advised I had ordered a small and that us the reason my coffee was not being delivered. I requested a refund. Atrocious response.

Bad customer service. Will not be attending again.

Lemon and Sugar Crepes tasted like undercooked pancakes, I would not recommend them. Even if it was good, one single crepe is not worth $17.90. There were more seeds in my slice of lemon then there was lemon itself. A memorial video on the mounted TV was showcasing a photo reel of a man who died. However, the content of the reel was inappropriate as it showed him black facing and various pictures of him with strippers. Would not recommend. The customer service of the various waitressses was lacklustre, they also just stood around talking for the majority of our meal.

Bay Vista is a great place to meet up with friends. Can get a bit noisy and is a little bit on the pricey side but it s always good service and mouth watering desserts! Hits that chocolate craving perfectly and definitely insta worthy.

I have been going to Bayvista for years, but I have been overseas for work so I haven t been back in a while. I was really disappointed to go a couple days ago and find an elderly man at the door greet me. The food was amazing as usual but he ruined our experience with his rudeness. He refused to seat us on a booth after we d waited because we weren t a group of 4 for whom which booths are apparently now reserved for. Me, my partner and my sister got a dessert and drink each, while the 4 that sat on the booth ordered one cake to share. We had to leave our tea s on the seat as the small circular table he put us on couldn t fit everything. Maybe under new management? Hopefully it s just a one off!!
Other than that I would recommend everyone try the Poli Oreo Crepe!

Great food and atmosphere if you're looking for somewhere local to just chill out with some mates. I had the chocolate fondue and it was delicious. There is normally quite a line to get in, so be prepared to wait during busy evenings.
