One of my favourite desert places ever. The place looks absolutely amazing and is always packed on the weekends or night time but they always manage to serve great deserts quickly. There's nearby street parking or you can park in the multi story council car park behind it so making it easy to get to. Definately recommend!!!

We visited bay vista with a few friends. Good service and massive serves (not high quality products though). I ordered their tiramisu as it s description on the menu was awesome. What they served, poured chocolate sauce all over it. Completely ruined the tiramisu.
The food is great but service is TERRIBLE! Purchased Banarama waffles - caramelised banana with candied peacans. Arrived with normal banana, asked the waitress should this be caramelised she replied 'I don't know, I'll ask for you' even after showing her the menu. She takes the plate and comes back seconds later puts the plate down, says 'thanks' and she's gone. Looked down and they covered the banana with butterscotch sauce don't get me wrong I love the sauce but do you not understand what caramelised banana are???? If not why advertised it???? Clearly staff need to learn the menu of what exactly they making and selling
Amazing dessert place. If you think dessert should be a meal, this place is for you. Plenty of options and great portion sizes. Ambiance: this place has dim light and upbeat music. We visited this a day before Halloween and the ambiance was updated with Halloween theme. Nice touch. Food: We ordered chocolate mousse, strawbana and hey honey. Everything was great. Nothing was too sweet and pan cakes and waffles were perfect.
Service: Service was super fast. We did not have to wait. Immediately after entering we were seated. There were plenty of staff to look after you. Barely 5 minutes after ordering at the counter our food was served.
While I'm more than happy with my visit there are couple of things that didn't sit well with me and for that I have reduced one star 1. The tables were placed too close for comfort. No covid safe distancing measures were followed. The restaurant is trying to serve as many patrons that will fit. 2. While the food is amazing and portion size justifies the cost, I just wish there were smaller portion. Either the restaurant is trying to sell more by making large dishes or maybe that's what they are famous for. Either way i wish there were dishes with smaller portion sizes.
For someone who puts on easily and has to put a lot of effort to reduce weight, the portion size is bit too much. I wish I had come here before I was 30 and could eat anything in any quantity and have no impact on the body. All in all its a great dessert bar Must visit if you are around Brighton le Sands.
For the Price you pay you expect food to be fresh not Frozen. Cleaning is obviously not a priority. Extremely dirty tables. Sticky like they haven't been cleaned properly in years
The manager/waitor's customer services skills were not good. It seemed if you came in a young group, he was all smiles but if you came with children - expect a sour greeting. However there was a lovely waitress, who went above and beyond to make our experience great. She looked out for my son and made sure he had a great time. Very VERY rich sweet food! I thought I had a sweet tooth but this was way over the top! My son LOVED his icecream though.
Very pricey place for dessert and service is terrible. Won't recommend anyone to go there. The music is extremely loud and you can't even have a proper conversation over there.. So you can quickly eat and leave their premises. Serving is big but not as quality for the price you are paying with lousy customer service.
This place never fails me. Best hot chocolate. Cinnamon scrolls are a must. All o their crepes and Gelatos are delicious. Love coming here for tbe beach view esp if you get seats in the 2nd level. The bosses and staff are always super friendly
The waiteress was so rude. She'd better quit the job if she gonna keep scowling at customers. The worst thing was drinks. The d-rux menu, chocolate based drinks, were terrible. I went there with friends but nobody could finish the drinks. It's ridiculous to sell those terrible menu with the expensive price. Being open till late is only merit. Not worth going.
I will never go back again. Health inspector should pay them a visit. Watched an employee SNEEZE on a dessert and still serve it. He was wiping his runny nose with back of his hand! and serving food! Totally gross.
Attended here a few months ago for a light meal and dessert. I d have to say if you want chocolate they ll definitely provide.. service was rather fast-food like with average customer service which was disappointing as it wasn t busy. Probably give this Place another visit before a flight at the airport
Extremely quick service and delicious food. My friend and I just wanted somewhere to quickly grab dessert and we were in and out within 20 minutes of getting a table. They also have the takeaway option too which is awesome. This place is so so good! Only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because the food is kinda pricey, but I do think ultimately you get what you pay for.
My friend asked for iced long black, the staff clearly heard it and then gave him a hot long black with some ice in it ... SERIOUSLY!? If you don't have it don't try to trick your customer into paying something they didn't ask for....this place should get better staff
First and last visit. Too noisy. Deafening loud music that does not allow diners to talk peacefully and enjoy the desserts, had to scream at each other to be heard. Moved tables thrice for a quieter area to no avail. Staff are unpleasant and inattentive too. Desserts may be good, but bottomline is great service and ambience. Not coming back.
I went to Bay Vista today to celebrate a birthday. They did not let us book a table so we went there willing to wait. The old guy at the front was busy smoking outside the door. He was extremely unprofessional, rude. There were many tables free and no queue. After half an hour waiting we got separate small tables. He made us squeeze in less tables He was not happy we had that many tables. He treated us terrible. He was very nasty. Sweets were ok but extremely overpriced. The rude Manager or door person made it a bad place to go. Nice and friendly waitresses the only good point.
Great place with great variety of of delicious Desserts. Nice staff and nice view of the sea.
The only negative point is that the music is extremely loud, you can't even talk to your colleagues sitting next to you. The one in Parramatta is more quiet, and no headache dining there.
Would have been 5 starts if it wasn't for the extremely loud music.
Servise and dessert is really good but please someone have to look after the washrooms , it is really filthy and the smelly is horrible so so bad even I couldn t get in.
Delicious food! Excellent service! Booths are the best! Location is best so can cross the road to walk the esplanade and burn off all the fantastic food I ate! Well worth it tho
Quick service once you get in. Choose from a huge menu of desserts and drinks. Servings can be large and they are delicious. Waffles pancakes or crepes with great range of ice creams fruits and sauces. Food is prepared quickly and brought to your table. Great selection of drinks both hot and cold.
The colder soda type drinks are absolutely worth it Every time but the desserts are overly sweet. They are made nicely and the texture is perfect in every dessert, just the sugary taste becomes quite sickening. More of a place to share something with someone but it still a great place to bring the kids or hang out with friends.
Enjoyable. Right near the beach. Always packed, but there's always a seat. Parking is the only issue, as there are a plethora of restaurants and dessert places. It's lively and always buzzing
The Poly Oreeea crepe was delicious and so was the lazy hot chocolate. Perfect retreat for the cold weather. Could barely have a conversation on account of the loud music.
A good place for dessert and chilling. I ve been to both Paramatta and Brighton Le sands shops. Generally, there are heaps of tables at both, you need to order at the counter then it will be served to the table for you.
The menu offers plenty options like ice cream, yoghurt, other desserts and drinks. I tried Strawberry Coconut Sundae, yoghurt with passionfruit syrup and they taste nice. Some of the items come in a big jar or glass and can be shared of 2 pp. The fruit (peach) soda was okay, not bad but not interesting. Not sure as I ve just been to Paramatta shop once but I liked the service in Brighton Le sand better which was fast and more hospitable. Even though we came quite late but they gave us friendly smiles while serving.. The one in Brighton Le sands is closer so I come there more regularly. It has a view to the beach which smells fresh and it s busy all the time I get there. There s a bit noisy because of the music and people talking so it s not suitable for anyone who looks for a quiet space for an evening but so good for anyone likes the energetic atmosphere.
Honestly... overrated. 3 times i went there and tried 4 different menu types, nothing impressed me. One of them is super bland, horrible. Overpriced as well. The only good things are probably their menu range and their opening hours.
Lively place with an amazing vibe and view. Be sure to ask them how big is the portion of the dessert you're ordering, some of them are massive and go wasted. Loved the music and the super vast dessert option.. Like the menu never ends...
Really yummy and decadent desserts, but not everything is good. I feel as though the menu is too large, hence not everything can be made to the highest quality.
Ever wondered if you could eat a sundae the size of your head? Wonder no more! Head on down to Bay Vista and put your dessert stomach to the test. So many sweets to choose from that the worst part of the night is trying to choose. I never knew you could get cheesecake on a stick, mind - blown, as you know everything tastes better on a stick and this was no exception.
Extremely expensive for cake and ice cream. Overly sweet. There were lumps in the ricotta cheesecake, the 'warm' sticky date pudding was served cold and to top it off the knafeh was pre made frozen concoction with rosewater sugar syrup.
I really cannot understand the other ratings. Far better and more affordable places in Sydney.
Oh and I paid for their Bay Vista branded water. Terrible!!
Albeit the prices are a bit over the top, probably aiming for the hotel and executive guests, and night neighborhood life, the service and food here is great. If it was a tad cheaper, it'd be perfect!
The original Bay vista store. The icecream bowls are what they're known for. These are two of the 2 scoop bowls - Africa Wild on the left and Inca Gold on the right. Priced under $20 and plenty for 1 person.
This place only got 2 stars because of the awesome variety on the menu and for the decor. The desert itself (pecan pie) was too sweet but the service was absolutely TERRIBLE. It felt like I was on a secret TV show, it seriously couldn't get as bad as that. It is obviously for the young people who can override poor service in favour of venue crowd and ambience.
Who doesn't like a good dessert. The family came here for a sugar hit after dinner and their crepes are delicious. Recommend this place to anyone who has a sweet tooth. The only annoying this is that you need to order at the counter - so no table service.
the service was super quick for a busy Saturday night loved there crepes and fondue a great place to bring the family or friends and i love there addition of a savoury menu.
Delicious desert love it just needed break pop in there didn't realise my niece know around this area but when i enter in this beautiful place wow staff where good and next to it was the beach look over it. Recommended family's go into bay vista desserts bar place it just delicious dessert tasty and feels like your at home having a nice desserts with family's i rate 5 star
