Tom A. was very kind, courteous, and professional when he arrived. After an initial discussion about my rodent issue, he inspected my basement, garage, and the entire exterior of my house for possible problems. He then informed me of his findings, closed any possible rodent entrance points into the house, and set tamper-proof traps in problem areas inaccessible to my children and pets. He even gave me some valuable tips of simple ways to prevent future issues both with rodents and insects. I felt like he genuinely cared about my problem and efficiently handled any and all possible rodent entrance points. Furthermore, he made sure all my questions were answered and treated my family (and pets) with the utmost respect. I highly recommend Tom A. and Batzner in any and all pest removal situations.
Thoroughly went through the issues with me as well as a plan to eliminate the issues so that I don t see a repeat in the future. Normally I would be the guy that I can take care of it myself but Cliff showed me clearly how and where the wasps were coming in. Very flexible with scheduling, reasonably priced, and much more successful in getting rid of those stupid ants than, for example, terminix, which failed miserably.
Cancelled after having for 12 years. Customer service has gone by the wayside. When you call now you get a call center. Horrible customer service. Cannot get someone to arrive when I get home from work (that's not that persons schedule is what I was told) Prior to this year, I was ALWAYS able to have someone at my home between 4-6 pm. Not replacing bait with fresh bait in bait stations (guess trying to cut costs) now I have mice in my basement and I have to WAIT 2 weeks for someone to come to my home, at this rate there is NO POINT IN PAYING FOR THEIR SERVICE, so I cancelled :) Just not the company that they once were...
Our service rep, Jim Thurler, was very good. Came to fix a garage problem and went the extra mile to check indoors and found other issues. I really appreciate that Batzner and Jim T care about their work and are always there to help. They always come out quickly when there is a problem and I would highly recommend them!

I had Brian come out today for a pest problem i've been having the past couple months in my basement. He was very friendly and did a very thorough job. He genuinely seemed to care about getting rid of my pest problem. I originally had received service from a large well-known pest company one month ago, and I have 0 regrets about switching to Batzner.
We have been totally satisfied with the service, my wife is extremely afraid of mice. Batzner fixed the problem. Bugs are greatly reduced too. The service personal is usually not seen but all interactions with them have been pleasant and professional.
We have seen such an improvement in the bees around our home since hiring Batzner Pest Managment and using their BAN system. Not only that, but when we had some ants in the house last year, they came to check it out quickly in addition to our regular treatments. Would absolutely recommend this company.

I have been with Batzner for a little under a year and called them for some ants and lady bugs getting in and within a very short time these professional people were able to correct this and have been very pleased with them overall.
The company has been nothing short of excellent to work with. The workers that come to the house are always friendly and give the dog(a yorkie who is in the house, running from window to window) a good workout.
Fred takes care of a medical facility I oversee in Mequon, WI. He is very thorough, and when he says he will be there, he will be there. I have had to call him a few times about issues and he promptly addressed them with myself and the staff.

Jim was just here in the allotted time frame we were given. Found some rodent activity in the basement & investigated & found a hole near fireplace where they could be getting in & plugged it. Polite & courteous.
Hired batzner to heat and chemical treat for infestation. Was assured the problem would be taken care of by tech. 3 weeks after treatment we found pests. it took a week for a tech to come and respray free of charge and we were told that pest activity would increase for up to 2 weeks. upon initial consultation I asked about treating entire home and the tech assured me it was unnecessary and said they "don't do basements " . I spent $1500 on the initial consultation and treatment and they give a one month guarantee. A month and a half after the initial treatment pests have come back and I cannot afford another treatment and their guarantee is expired. I followed all of the after care instructions and was careful not to bring pests back. When Batzner retreated they recommended throwing furniture out. If this was imperative to getting rid of infestation I feel I should have been informed upon initial consultation. I cannot prove that my home was not reinvested. But as an uninformed consumer, I feel, Iooking to professionals for help I should have been informed that retreating a second time may be necessary and possibly offered repeated inspection services to make sure the infestation was taken care of. Batzner controls the market In the area for the type of pest I had them treat for. Financially speaking not doing a thorough job benifits their business as consumers are forced to return to them for future treatments that are costly. In chicago where there is more competition the same type of treatment costs half of what Batzner charges. I understand that batzner is highly rated but I felt the need to share my experience. With my 1 month guarantee long over and no current financial ability to hire them a second time I have not contacted them. I look forward to seeing if they post a response.
Update. 12/23/19
Batzner contacted my wife today. They offered to come back and retreat free of charge. I will continue to update review again after they have treated again. I will also add a star for their quick response and offer to rectify the situation so quickly.
The only thing I would comment on is as the tech was leaving he apparently didn't see me motioning to him that I had 2 traps that I was getting out of the garage for him to fill. I didn't catch him in time.

We live in a ranch surrounded by trees and woodland plants, and suffered with mice creeping into our basement, and one time we had two chipmunks! Some while back, my daughter, also in a woody area, had their mice problem solved by the Batzner service people, so we took her recommendation. Voila! Our service guy pointed out the evidence and places for rodent entry. By sealing up and setting bait traps, we no longer fear being overrun, and no longer live with the bad smell of decaying small mice. Perhaps even more important, we no longer see any destructive carpenter ants in our home, and very few outdoors.

They've come to my senior/disabled apts to put mouse traps but then never followed up. They've sprayed in public halls/stairwells, with no prior notice, and do not readily share names of the chemicals used. In a bldg full of frail people, wouldn't a responsible company want to make sure no pets/people tracked through pesticide/insecticides, and could plan accordingly for when they sprayed?

When I found mouse droppings over winter I immediately freaked out! I choose local companies when I can and decided to go with Batzner. They were able to get someone out to my house quickly! Before they came they sent me an email reminding me of the appointment and it included a picture of the person coming out so I would know what he looked like. I chose a monthly plan just so I can make sure I have the support I need in the first year. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and are always willing and able to answer all of my questions and give me really helpful recommendations. I have had them for over 4 months now and am very pleased with they service they have provided!

I was dealing with Fleas and Called them. They were booked til Wednesday. but The Tech squeezed me in the same day I called and took care of my problem. I just contacted Batzner because one of their trucks had been parked outside of my house, and appeared to have been there for a few days. My neighbor was also concerned about it, so I decided to call Batzner just to let them know my concern. I was super friendly about it, just stating my concerns, and the manager raised her voice and was extremely RUDE to me and before I had a second to explain it was only out of concern that I called...she hung up the phone on me!!!! I can t believe this! This is completely uncalled for! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

Today our exterior was sprayed for insect control. The service man did not tell us what exactly he was going to do. He moved quickly across the soffits with the spray. This then dripped on things below it but the spray also hit our windows, which we just had professionally cleaned! This spray also dripped down on my tomato, chive, and parsley plants. Had I known, I would have covered them up to keep the spray off. Better communication and more careful spraying needs to occur. We re not happy with today s work.
Bill Knopf is the person that comes in to service my place of work. He is very friendly and polite. Very good communication skills, always a deight. Every time he comes in he does a very good, efficient job. He makes sure to address any possible concerns we might have. He communicates all that he finds and leaves us tips to avoid any issues from the surrounding businesses. Very happy to have him.

We've been with Batzner for over 2 years maybe 3 now with Scott as our technician and couldn't be happier! Quality service, email reminders as they come quarterly more if needed.
