I am very disappointed in the Service Department a...

I am very disappointed in the Service Department at Basil's on Walden. My car was towed there on Friday afternoon 11/26/18 at 12:30. I was told that it would be looked at that day or possibly Saturday, or possibly Monday or Tuesday. No call on Monday by 11am so I called and talked to Christina who said my car was next to be looked at and she would call me back with plan. When I called back on Tuesday morning at 10:30 Christina thought she was talking to a young woman who " we moved in front of everyone else". before she realized she was talking to me. She explained the whole issue of this other persons car, than She said, " oh sorry I got confused". She said at that time that they were looking at my car right then and she would call me right back. I waited until 1:30 before I called back the main Service number. I was told that Christina would find out and let me know. She calledd me back at 2pm and after telling me what the problem was, and only after I asked, she told me when the car would be ready at 4 or 4:30 that day. I received a call back at 3:40 from her saying my car was ready. Very disappointed with run around and long wait time. Had I known that my power steering that failed was not a recall I would not have taken it to Basil where they chargef me $665 to fix something that was a recall in 2014. I would not recommend Basil Service Department on Walden to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience with sales consultant Nick Valint and also team member Aaron Miechurski. During my time searching for a used car, Nick was straightforward and honest with me - and was able to meet me at a very fair price once I decided to purchase one. Aaron was also able to work with me on the price of the warranty, and extended some human courtesy my way after finding out that I had maxed out my budget on the car itself (warranty and fees had slipped my mind). All in all, a 10/10 in customer service - honest, straightforward, and professional.

This location will provide a much better buying experience than Basil Resale 6868 Transit (don't go here). Go to Basil Ford on Walden instead, they can havecars delivered to walden at no extra cost.

It is great to hear that Basil Resale Transit is under new management. However, under the old management I was cheated out of $500 + taxes and filed complaint with evidence with the NYS Atty Gen office on April 4th and awaiting response.

Never write reviews but this was HORRIBLE!! Service Advisors do not care about the customer at all whatsoever. They have no idea what the services they offer even entail. I called and asked for a quote on a service while my car was being looked at for something else and they called me back hours later saying they were DOING THE SERVICE!! Have been running me around for a month and treating me like dirt on their shoe the whole time as well.
DO NOT GO TO BASIL FORD ON WALDEN!!!!
I will never return and will be sure no one else I know ever does either. Horrible.

Disappointed I couldn't get an appointment for inspection, oil change and tire rotation. Person taking calls not very helpful. Said all appointments come first and I just had to wait until they were all completed. Made me think I could be waiting days. Said she would have service manager call me, which never happened. Went to Basil thinking I would give them 3 hours. A very nice service advisor Andrew Kern helped me when I arrived. Asked how long it would take. Said approximately 3 hours,. I agreed. Was less than that and they gave me a complimentary car wash. Other than the dissatisfied original phone call, I had a very pleasant experience with the service department at Basil Ford.

Great experience buying my new used 2020 Lead Foot F150 at Basil Ford. Every there was professional and accommodating. Easiest, most painless experience buying a automobile. Melisa, Doug, Jeremy, and Jordon were great, and I love the truck.

Pay $150 for Diagnostic to see what's the problem with my fusion because it wasn't passing inspection, they said I can get my inspection the same day. Later they said they found the problem but I'll have to pick my car up the next day and I said ok. With labor the total cost was $274.79. I call to pick up my car the next day. My car wasn't fixed and wasn't ready to be inspected and I was ROBBED of my money without my car fixed.

THEY WANT ME TO PAY ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC COST PLUS LABOR AGAIN.

I was able to make an appointment online and be in the garage within a few days at a time that was convenient for me.
When I arrived I was seen right away. I felt safe due to the social distancing rules they had in place. Everyone was wearing masks, there was a sneeze guards in place, and red boxes to show where I should stand.
The man who checked me in was very personable and knowledgeable. Even though the price he quoted me for a service and part I needed was ridiculously expensive - He actually gave me a fair quote that was comparable to other local places that I had checked with prior. Guess it's just the nature of the car garages.
The reason I went to Basil over another place is because I trust them. They have a well deserved reputation of being professional. They are very efficient and treat my time like their own.

Had an awesome experience with Basil Fords service department. Even without an appointment they were able to trouble shoot issues with my F150 and get the work done within hours. They also found additional issues that required over 10 hours of labor and worked with my 3rd party warranty to make sure it was properly approved even with push back from the warranty company. Overall I walked away with less than a 200$ bill when the work was over 2800$. I worked with Mike in the service center and he was awesome with texting me updates and keeping me informed with the status of paperwork and the warranty. Basil s service center is awesome.

Although more happend to satisfactorily complete my New York state inspection than I anticipated, I ended up paying a lot more than I thought I would that day.Tyler did a good job explaining all the details as to why my car needed additional attention in order to pass inspection so I was okay with it.

If there was an option to give it zero stars that would be my rating. My husband brought my f150 for them to see why my leather seats were peeling and if there was anything that could be done to help us out. They took photos and said they would get back to us that day or the following monday. They did not get back to us at all. I had to call friday and finally someone called me back staturday. When asked why they didn't call me back they said my husband didnt want to pursue anything either with a repair or to see if it was a defect. Which he absoulutly did not say. Then they told me It would have to come back in for photos which were already taken that past saturday. Well they got erased . It was like they basically blew us off and were very unhelpful on trying to find a solution for our problem. Then when ford cutomer care called me and said they could not help me because Basil said it was not a defect and something I must have done to the seat. So it would not be covered. I have done nothing to the seat to cause it to peel. Its not even in a place where it would have normal wear. I understand if I would have to replace it but just wanted wanted some help on fixing the seat if it was something that ford would cover or I would have to. So after almost two weeks of playing phone tag I got my answer. And I will never be purchasing or leasing from Basil ever again.

704.01 ...6 days of service I get call hey your car ready kool get in shuttle get here WAIT from 5:10pm to 5:25ish to get acknowledged stood so close to service manager door I could ve been in his lap he never acknowledged me (mind you me and another lady got off van together she was in/out 5-7 mins) (her car was in front nice and washed) my car in back between approximately 20 other cars so after I go completely off they offer to wash n bring to front for me wait another 10 mins to hear mam ur car still doesn t work idk what s wrong but we will give you a loaner so my last $704 plus I lost my job while my car was between 2 basil dealers 2 Tow trucks($180)and I still don t have a car my Inspection up so whenever I do get it I gotta pray on god Cheektowaga police don t take it!! (I need a gas cap, and light reset for inspection only I planned on doing today) never ever again basil!!! Took our 2017 Ford Escape for a recommended 5000 mile check up at Basil's "quick lane" on Monday, 2/26. No appointments are available for these services. I arrived at approximately 9:15 am and was greeted and checked in promptly. A vehicle check, tire rotation & oil change were requested. A carwash was also provided without charge. I was notified that the wait time would be around 1 1/2 hours. I decided to wait at the dealership as I had no urgent plans for the day. The waiting room was pleasantly comfortable. Coffee, fruit, pastries & popcorn were available free of charge. Work on my vehicle was completed at around 11:30 am. I would definitely prefer to be able to schedule routine service & not wait so long. Oherwise I was pleased with this service experience.

Service is absolutely terrible. No organization and employees ignore you. Multiple people NOT WEARING MASKS DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. As people helping the public I was shocked at the callous disregard for others health as indicated by employees not wearing masks and eating while talking with customers. Newsflash. Plexiglass is not an efficient safety measure by itself. All employees and customers should be mandated to wear masks at all times when facing the public. I will never go back to this dealership. I shopped around for a truck for over a month before ending up at Basil and it was because it was the best deal in WNY. No other dealership in the area was as easy to work with, from beginning to end. Frank was the nicest salesman I think I ve ever had, car or not, and wasn t pushy like all the others I had encountered just trying to get a test drive in.

I looked for a new car for a long time. Over 12 dealerships in WNY were visited. No where did I find the service I did at Basil for my new Ford. I was helped by Vinko and unlike every other salesman I encountered he was kind, not pushy, and as helpful as possible. Being a younger guy at dealerships salesman tried to swindle me into 360 deals and over priced vehicles. I told Vinko my price point and he worked with me and got me a great deal on a car I love! Anyone looking for a new car I highly recommend going to see Vinko and the Basil team. 5 stars. Great experience!!

He informed me that he had no available appointments until the following Tuesday, 1/12/2022 but if possible he would see if he could get the car looked at before the The next day,1/5/2021, Mike called me and informed me that my car was done! I will absolutely be returning to Mike and Basil Ford for any service that needs to be done on my car from now on.

Wasted my time coming here with an "Invitation" to see about replacing my C-Max because of "shortage of C-Max" in the area. When I made the appointment on the phone they said they will still honor giving me a $10 gift card from Target. As well as enter the $5,000 drawing even though the date of invitation had passed because I was out of town that weekend. But they didn't honor either. You think a dealership this size would actually honor at least a $10 GC. Ohh well. I'll not do business with them now or in the future!

Talked my friend into turning in her lease and buying what was in my opinion, an overpriced vehicle. I took her back the next day and to no avail. I also went shopping for the same vehicle and found many hundreds less. Do your homework and insist on a price you are willing to pay and do not waiver from it. Now with the interest on their price over the life of the loan, she is not happy and realizing what happened. They saw her coming. Took advantage of her. Just great deals? Only if you 'stick to your guns'.

I bought my 2013 Ford Fusion almost 2 years ago. Every time I ve brought my vehicle to Basil Ford, a takes a week or longer just to diagnose my vehicle. My vehicle stayed at this shop for over a week once just for the rep to tell me that it was the battery that needed to be replaced. A job that takes 20 minutes or less. I am very disappointed with the service and reps. They talk to you like they care but really don t. I couldn t get to work for a week because of this issue.

Great overall experience!
Everyone was very pleasant and engaging.
Salesman was very knowledgeable in regards to the vehicles and models I was initially interested in. He was also very attentive to my current needs and concerns.
It was a pleasure to find the dealing and paperwork was not the usual grueling pain you would at other auto dealers.
Very courteous, helpful and organized.
My new Explorer was all set and ready to go in quick fashion.

The absolute worst.
They sold me a $23,000 truck that needed transmission work a few months after I got it. They said my warranty was up, paid half to fix it. How generous considering how much I paid for it. A few months later needed 4 new tires, new battery, a/c doesn't work, car squeals like a pig every time it rains from a bad belt.They won't cover any of it and I still haven't had the truck a year. I just can't believe how bad I got had. Don't waste your time with them.

I LOVE CHUCK BASIL FORD! We have bought so many cars from them that I lost count! The moment you pull in the lot you are greeted with a warm smile and handshake!! We bought our Explorer from Nick Valint today and were more than happy with our whole experience!!!
As long as we will be driving, we will go Nowhere else to buy a car/SUV than CHUCK BASIL FORD!!!
