I love spending time in this store. It is enormous and carries just about anything you might want. Item locator kiosks are located throughout the store to help you find specific books, or there is a large and knowledgeable staff on hand to help. Chairs are available throughout the store for you to flip through your books comfortably. During the holiday shopping season this year, they increased the staff and streamlined the checkout process so that I was able to move from the back of a 40 person line to the front in less than 10 minutes. They even offered free gift-wrapping!

Excellent help finding exactly what was needed and checking out

Horrible customer service, no one answers the phone and I ve seen on multiple occasions staff working on a computer next to a ringing phone and simply ignoring it. Furthermore, there are homeless people hanging around all the time.

The books and place are great but it s the little things that stick out.

The best brick and motor book store worth going for. You will be pleasantly lost in the neighborhood as well as in the store.

Flagship location provides for a flagship experience. Neat and orderly, with a muted din. One could lose track of time here...

Great multistory bookstore with large selection of options and cafe inside. Good place to discover new titles and find a new read by browsing the genres. If you can catch a seat by the window at the cafe it overlooks the Park and is a decent view to enjoy.

Same B&N as always, you can read in place before buying. Clean and organized.

I'm a fan of B&N, but a total waste of time today. Went to buy Izipizi reading glasses, but gone for the season. Annoying, but to add insult, they'd taken all the Foster Grant readers away too.

Manager William was very attentive, but in the end not helpful.

Rhetorical question of the evening: What use is a major bookstore that doesn't sell reading glasses....?

Love this store. It's huge but its very comfortable.

Very nice store, very clean and organize. I was able to get in and ask someone at the Help desk for assistant, get what I need and get back to work.

Great place to find books. Very quite and peaceful. Everybody seems to take their time when here. Its usually packed with people but still empty. Thats how large the store is.

It is a nice store for books and the staff there are very helpful and friendly really i liked them but unfortunately i didn t find a book covers my needs because i was searching for to specific subject related to my works but over all it is a good place for books prices are $$ so you can go to buy it

Great book selection but the cafe is so over priced it's disgusting. Turkey & cheese on rye & small iced tea $11.05. Unf'ingbelievable!!!!

One of the best bookstores in the world. Big. Love walking around here just browsing titles and looking at people. Helpful staff and even though the lines sometimes are long to the counter it's usually fast!

I love this place not only cause I met Joey Graceffa here but also cause of how many events they have here it's just so cool to see so many famous people go to this place,It has a tech store, a food court and tons of books and misc.

I like this place. It's my go-to when I want to hide from coworkers and/or unwind during lunch breaks.

Flagship Barnes and Noble. They don't have as many books as they once did, but they have a great and interesting toy section. It's important to support the stores, else we will be left with mail order book delivery only.

Wide space, plenty of floors, they have a cafe. They have it all from books, school supplies and toys.

It's a decent Barnes and noble. I've spent a lot of time here reading through many books. They also have artist and authors show up some times. I met Matisyahu here!

We were shopping for a birthday gift in the toy section, not a lot of selection, guess book store should be great with books not toys. Very nice store for books.

The manga there is the best like a very reccomend title Jojo's Bizarre Adventure honestly depending on the part you read the scenery changes and so do the characters as well as certain parts making you think of the psychology of the characters and if the bad guy is really the bad guy when it might be the protagonist

My favorite Barnes and Noble place. Their clearance section is ridiculous and their book selection is great.

Well i usually love this location but was experiencing extreme back pain and was treated in a suspicious way...due to the fact i was in intense pain...i have no idea what the Asian employee on the 3rd floor was thinking but he was acting suspicious and rude...p.s. I only mention that he was Asian as i did not catch his name or job title..was so uncomfortable i just left...looks like you lose another customer. This was yesterday around 4is

As a disabled person I found it discomforting not having a seating area. Otherwise nice space, great books and reading accesories.

What a pity it was sold. It had the charm of being a traditional style bookstore

Love, love, love! Giant selection. I just wish you'd restock on the Harry Potter items and you had a way to look for a book without asking an employee. One gets embarrassed sometimes.

I loved it, a bookstore to get lost and spend a nice afternoon.

Very good library, quite large and stocked. There are books of everything, toys, magazines and some cd's and movies. Also a coffee shop, the bad part is that it is a Starbucks.

Oddly enough they had exactly what I needed which was a ink and feather pen.

Not the BEST selection, but a very good selection- not easy catering to the entire Island of Manhattan. Here's a hint- don't buy the Moleskin personal journals averaging $25 (when I write this it's 2020) on the first floor. Go up to the discount books on the 3rd floor and take your pick of any of the personal journals available, all for under $10.

Highly recommended! Has a Starbucks on the 3rd floor. Then get a book and a coffee and just relax in the good.

This is my favorite bookstore. There is always seating at the cafe, but my gripes would be there are no outlets for charging electronic devices and also the bathrooms were dirty.

If three people Like this review I'll tell you that this Barnes and Noble is helpful, huge, and crowded.

They have a book I been looking and is never on it's place and I'm unable to order online for pick up ..Other than that still a great book store.

Absolutely awful. They kicked out a friend of mine for putting on make up in the bathroom. Manager hassan was the guy who brought the police over ane kicked my friend out. I wouldn't step back in there again.

Well organized, for the location it manages to be both bustling with activity and quiet enough to enjoy as a bookstore. Large selection, including a large and varied clearance section strategically placed by the restrooms that always suckers me in when I have to run into the store knowing it's the most reliable bathroom in the area.

There was a lot of book selections which ade it fun to book shop. It was pretty unorganized in there though a lot of books in random places.

Biggest B&N in NYC. Great space for events. However, they have been removing seats for people to sit and read. IMO, they're doing themselves a disservice by removing features that made them wonderful to visit and explore.
