A mandatory stop while visiting Manhattan. It is better to see it at night because naturally the impact is different but during the day is also overwhelming.

It's a pretty saddening sight that,after COVID, the epitome of America, the Time square district seems deserted.

Times Square is the best place people would go. I had so many fun times there with the people I know of. They have lots of people going around to make it the busiest place there. It really brings the city of New York City. Highly go there.

Just like out of the movies: loud, colorful, and fun! There is great food to be found and loys of kid friendly stores and activities so bring $$$. And remember: this is still New York City! Keep personal effects close to the body, kods closer, and dont stop in the middle of the sidewalk to gaze!!! Also, adult content will splash across the screens and use discretion at the eateries.

A great place to visit since Mayor Rudy Giuliani cleaned up New York!

Pure chaos, but a must for everyone at some point in life, especially leading up to Christmas. Not for those who feel claustrophobic or don't like people watching;)

I love this place. If you're looking for scenery food and alot of lights, this is your spot.

Almost like the centre of universe. You feel like you are inside a HD TV. This is a must visit

It's not like the place is bright, it's super bright, i didn't know a public place could be this bright. It's crowded as well, but not that much that you can't walk. It's impresive and i want to visit again.

The lights are impressive sure. But the crowds here are insane and the fact that they haven t closed off any car traffic is idiotic

it's very cool for your first time there. but the shine quickly wears off and it's just a massive tourist trap with people everywhere and someone always trying to sell you something.

Love going to the big Apple there are so many places to go to and things to do you will enjoy your time in the big NYC.

Although the walls of billboards do catch your eyes, I wouldn't say this spot is a "must see". Crazy crowded, smelly, lots of light pollution and overpriced food/gifts. I'd stick to Central Park and more relaxed parts of NYC, especially if you have young children.

Lots happening! Great restaurants, good shopping, street entertainment, amazing experience! Loved it! Wish I would have stayed longer. Really nice walking down the street and just listening to all the different languages from everyone all over the world. The only thing I would say is DON T take a ride with the bicycle buggies. They charge anywhere from 8.99 to 9.99 a MINUTE!!! Really got ripped off. I would rate them a 1 but think they work for themselves and there is no where to leave a review for them. So just Beware!

I spent New Year's at John's pizzeria and it was the best ..food is sooooo good and the service is impeccable. Best New Year's ever.

Great place to hang around. It's crowded every day of the year. Not sure how appropriate this place to the kids. But for sure it's a great place for people watching.. loved all the lights and how live it is.

Amazing amount of concrete jungle with many of Advertising sceen. Don't forget to take the photo with the red stair, it's a must.

Looks really good but it's just advertisements. They make looking at ADS a tourist attraction. Slightly overrated.

Never have seen just a place like Times Square in US. It s crowded all the time and lively. You just need to keep walking along with the crowd . Must visit when in NY. It s colorful and will find people dressed up as super heroes. Sometimes there are live shows happening around .

I sleeped with homelesses. I liked it. There is safe at night because every 1 hour cops come to square for security. There is world meeting point

A must see location if you are visiting NY. It gives an entirely different experience to visitor. There are lot of options available for sight seers to look around. Specially after sunset you realize that this place never sleeps.

Times Square, love or hate? I best describe this place as a grown up Vegas. At 4 in the morning it will seem like daytime. Venture in any direction and you will be faced with architecture that will dazzle the eye. Hit it around the holiday seasons, and see the beauty in modern society- especially at night.

How do you give the most crowded place in the city five stars? You just do! Take a picture with random people dressed up in costumes or the naked cowboy. Get tickets for Broadway at the discounted tickets booth. Stand on top a random set of stairs to nowhere to see the greatest city in the world from every angle!

Beautiful place to visit you really feel like you're in the heart of something big! New york is an amazing city with a beautiful history! Only down side are the scammers and the fact that everything is overpriced... people take advantage of the tourist unfortunately

Times Square is still the center of attraction late night in New York City. The lights and ambiance are always right to set the mood on a night on the town.

It s always a great time going to Times Square. Visit the M&M and Hershey Store. Go to the red stairs and just take it all in. Eat at BBQs which is about 3 blocks away but the food is so worth it. Avoid taking pictures with the People dressed up as cartoon characters, they will address you with a attitude if you take pictures. Great spot but get ready for the huge crowd.

Everytime I visit Times Square it is like the first time! There is always so much to see and do! From the Theater District to Garment District, Grand Central Station and the various Shows happening daily/ nightly. Every corner there is a restaurant/eatery for your dining cuisine and pleasure. And the myriad of people from every background, nationality, race, religion, ethnicity, gender and class..... It truly is an amazing place to be at any time of the year! Five stars for your first visit to experience the impressive and ever-increasing amount of billboards and lights. Once you ve crossed it off your list, you will never need to come back. Crowds are oppressive, pan handlers out of control, and every single store and restaurant a waste of time with insane mark ups. Go get wow ed, then leave and never come back.

It is a great experience to be in one of the liveliest cities in the world. You realize that the saying "A place that never sleeps" is real. This you must visit once in life. It is great just to stand there and watch what is going on. An unforgettable experience. Always to see and explore something. Many shops, lots of street foods, big screens to look. This is where night really becomes day. Energetic place. Many happy people. Enjoy the moment of standing in one of the most famous place in the world. Do not rush. Enjoy it.

I was here for the New Year's eve...
The spirit is amazing. But waited for 6 hours in extreme cold. It was -14 C. Again, a once in a lifetime thing Haha...

This place is like 24 hour daylight! It doesn't sleep, restaurants, shopping malls. I think it's the most secure place in NYC! Police are patrolling 24/7 , amazing!

Extremely cool landscape although it is incredibly hard to get a good photo at night even when it's freezing cold. The amount of people here is ridiculous. Best chance to get a photo is whilst crossing 42nd Street and taking a photo as you cross.

Times Square never changes, even during the middle of a Pandemic. Great walking experience with love ones.

Bucket List Must. Although I have to say it is much smaller than I thought it would be. The city is huge. I just thought this area was bigger than it was. Maybe its just me. I had a great time. The seats close at night time. Plenty of walking to be done and lights everywhere! A must see for anyone.

It's a wonderful place to shop for clothes, toys, games, all kinds of foods, candy, and movie theaters as well plus it's a great place to watch the ball drop when it's on December 31, so come on down to shop til you drop and play to your hearts content. Also when it's New Year's Eve on December 31 you can also do a New Year's resolutions to know what you would do for the New Year that's coming in just 4 months, so be sure to come up with a resolution for the New Year that's coming for what's ahead for the future.

This is fun for the entire family. What a great experience we all had. Shopping, food, sights, candy stores. It was great down in Times Square though safety is an issue as far as watching your money goes, but my 2 1/2 year old loved the people dressed as Disney characters and we tipped them voluntarily with money that we had prepared for easy access in the heavily populated area and then we were on our way, just be safe. There are also lots of police and obviously people around. We've been back to NY since and we love it. Fun for ages 2 1/2 and up. I NY.

It's really just a brightly lit square of shops. It's great if you go at night and gives you a nice picture of new York. But that's really it. So many people though.
