Wonderful place and a lot of Stores and people from every where
Busy and great atmosphere. Don't be fooled by people who have dressed up in Disney type costumes and other film characters. They are not official and will expect money from you. Warning though, as soon as you get your money out the others will surround you.
I spent my birthday weekend in Times square had lots of fun
A wild a crazy place. What you'd expect in New York. Lots of fun, and pretty much anything you can thing of is available here, yup even that!!! Everyone who enjoys travelling, needs Times Square on your once in a lifetime places to visit, if for anything, just people watching is entertainment enough on a beautiful summer day
It's Times Square!!! Always fun and something new, unexpected. Fun for all ages no matter what time of the year.
The most magical place in NYC! I went there the first time in 1996 and was completely mesmerized. It was what I imagined as a kid (lights, ads, stores, broadway plays, restaurants, hotels, shows, lots of people, great energy, coffee shops, etc). Every time I go to NYC, I visit Times Square and immersed into this creative and unique vibe.
I love it and highly recommend it plus the subway stations have many different train lines (it s perfect)
Everything you expect it to be. Big billboards, lots of people, skyscrapers, and food carts. You can't visit New York and not go to Times Square.
It's cool during the day, but absolutely stunning at night. A must see place in New York.
Walk the "strip" ONE night for ONE hour. You'll leave fascinated rather than disgusted. Perfect location to use as a hotel base to take in Manhattan sites.
One of the most beautiful place in NY. So colorful, joyful!!! No vehicles allowed. You will have to walk and have food and have all the fun.
If you haven't been to Times Square you haven't been to New York! I recommend going there after it's dark since a great part of it is feeling it's noon when it's actually 2am. Lights are so bright! But, restaurants, stores and stands are way more expensive than they should be. And quality is not always the best.
they spectacular part of new york, lots of fun and shops around. lived pretty close to it.
I had a wonderful time with my family, the food and drinks were great for the occasion. The only reason I gave it three stars is because there were to many people smoking around the food court area.
Awesome , I love it , Also night views, cool arround like
Greatest place on earth you must see this at night when it is in full swing. Such an amazing place.
Once in a life time experience
New Year's Eve 2020
I had only seen it on TV before this. Visited during the holiday season so it was super crowded. Weekend as well. Heavy police presence. Huge versions of stores Gap, Forever 21, Old Navy. Pretty spectacular to just walk around and look at stuff.
Very lively, even under covid people out enjoying the atmosphere.
I really love this place, you cant get bored of it. I went there during COVID19 pandemic and at 9 pm, it wasn't crowded at all as usual, all stores were closed but i was able to take plenty of pics. Put your mask on and use your own hand sanitizer and you will be safe. I really enjoy going there.
I walked along the Times Square for as many times as I could. The utmost thing I can say is letting your heart sing New York, New York. It never sleeps and you can enjoy the chill, all kind of the noise bursting out of one of the busiest place in the world. First time, I got overwhelmed and dazzled with those flashy giant colorful screens. You can find all the joys with Broadway shows, 24 / 7 shops, restaurants, stores, bars and have fun.
The surreal place that it will always be! Must visit place in New York (Maybe the only one)
Traffic is insane almost always but Sundays are the easiest to get around.. walking around times square.. even if you're working is fun.
Fantastic and amazing square full of great show to take a beautiful pictures
Unique spot in midtown Manhattan. Lots of crowds, with shops, dining, theaters, and clubs. There are usually street performers with various levels of talent. You better like the hustle and bustle here. The are people in costume who will demand money so stay away if desired.
I feel this is the best part of a trip to the New York City. It is beautiful both at night and in the morning. You can also find vivid colors, lots of people, infinite food carts and also some very good rooftop restaurants.
Iconic? Yes. Tourist trap? Very yes. Good place to sit with a cup of coffee or eat a hotdog while you plan your next move.
Usual time square. But there is no much people like it was before
Is where everything happens. A cultural gathering, everyone is here. Everything is awesome in this corner of the world!!!
Never know what you were going to see in Times Square but it's always an adventure!
Do you like massive crowds of people, rallys, shopping, art installments, mix tapes, and endless advertising? Well boy oh boy do I have the suggestion of the century for you! Times Square! It's actually pretty cool, just make sure not to talk to anyone wearing a costume... for real tho.
We stayed in Times Square and everyone loved it. I could visit here, but never ever live here. Great time to be in New York.
If you want to see hundreds and thousands of people from around the world in to minutes or less, Time Square is exactly what you should be looking for. You will be find pedestrian jam there in a literal sense and that's perhaps the beauty of this place.
It stays crowded at any time of the day or night and thats why shops are open even after midnight. You can buy a pair of jeans at 1am over the weekend.
Time Square is a great place to experience a wonderful chaos of traffic, people, restaurants, food trucks, carts, shops, theaters. I will not be surprise if this Square alone got New York status of "City of lights" and "City that never sleeps".
Amazing
Just amazing to see everything you see on the tv in reality.
We were staying in the Crowne Plaza on Times Square....
Wow....right in the heart of Times Square.
Very beautiful shopping complex, its looks more beautiful at the night time. Always crowded with people. You cant get lost here. Easy to find places.
Best place in the world to people watch (together with Atl international airport)! Love Times Square!
i dont think times square needs my humble recommendation but i ll share my personal experience.
first of all this place is iconic and it the playground of many events films and many many other things
i recommend to read about this place before or at lease during your trip to it
it will make the experience more fruitful
i know this awkward but i recommend to touch the walls of building their you will the energy of NYC
wish you great time there
please try to visit during day and night because its different experience
Amazing place, reminds me of Shibuya in Tokyo but on an even bigger level. Always bustling and bright, obviously very touristy and some will hate it but part of New York that everyone should absolutely experience at least once in their life.
Times Square is in Manhattan, New York which is a crossroads of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It's a business center with lots of giant billboards and the Theater District that presents the Broadway Show. Very crowded, cool and like a city that never sleeps. It is an icon of New York and USA, very recommended place.
I went to times square for halloween and i loved it mostly the lights and i also too the best photos
Amazing great shops and crowd from all over the world enjoying a great atmosphere
When in New York you must visit time square it s just an amazing experience
I am in LOOOOOVE with Times Square!! What can i say about it, other than "my favorite place of all time" maybe? It was amazing to be in that place surrounded by shiny screen 24/7, a place that its alive whenever you visit it, you will never feel alone around there. I loved how they managed to transform a city with big 'ads' screens everywhere that everyone hates, into a beautiful place that everyone wants to visit. Also, lets not forget the number of stores existing in Times square, you can find disney stores, m&ms world, H&M stores, old navy, etc... so basically you will find anything you need there.
I love this place, there was a lot of people but not full. The day was clear and nice. Everything was clean
Awesome vibe with so much going on. Has to be done at night.
Lots of things to see and do in Times Square area and on Broadway! Don't forget the iconic bridges!
Love it, love it was my first time and I felt like I was in Dianey
Thee NYC, Manhattan landmark.
If you haven't come here, you weren't in NYC.
Even at 2 in the AM, the place is very well lit like daylight.
I have always wondered about how powerful the energy grid must be to power up this section of Manhattan!
Beautiful, and historical, in the Broadway area of Manhattan, you can catch a Broadway play when in the area.
Visited times square last summer in july and it was HOT! But I also had the best time of my life, some of the best food, bars and conversations I have ever had. It was really amazing at night when it cooled down. I would highly recommend visiting this amazing place when things get back to normal.
Very crowded!
Feels like New York in the movies!
Doesn't feel quite safe to travel there at night. Lots of NYPD (which is cool)!
Lots of tourists scammers.
Mesmerizing, sublime, jaw dropping, inspiring, positive vibes, multi cultural, lots of love, concrete jungle with life, moving engine, restless, metal heart, delicious food and loads of fun...that's one street in the world Newyork times square...
Pretty cool place to visit. Bring a bag with water and snacks. If you are traveling do not I repeat do not drive here and plan on walking a lot and use the train to get here. If you drive here you must be insane.
Must see for any visitor to New York as it has a unique vibe for the city, especially now that there are more pedestrian-only streets. But note that this can be one of the most densely attended locations in the world! I highly recommend picking up discount theatre tickets here from TKTS and seeing a live show, although shows are also spread out around the Manhattan area too. There are also many flagship shopping stores in the area. There are also mainly American chain restaurants in the area, but you can find some unique local restaurants with great reviews right here or walk a couple of blocks away where there are leas crowds.
Love the scenery, the lights, was a but quiet and didnt mix due to COVID 10 protocols
Visited here in '84, at the age of 21. It was everything I had expected & more. Awesome.
Historic landmark in Manhattan. Super busy at night, watch out for your wallet or purses in the crowded area.
The magic of this place is nearly impossible to describe! It must be experienced to be understood!!!
It was really beautiful place. A lot of illuminations, stores made me lively. The place was crowded but I was good because I could feel the real city. I could feel that "I am in New York". If I have a chance later, I want to enjoy the street for a long time.
A must see in NYC!!! We were fortunate to find an affordable hotel walking distance to Times Square. There is A LOT to see here and you will find people from all walks of life. Restaurants, shopping, and street entertainment. We also witnessed a proposal which was so sweet!!
Great experience in the most famous location in new york you can find all stores around the area and great restaurants
Vibrant and exciting with lots to look at! Watch out for the street sellers trying to upsell packaged bus tours and other tourist traps. Lots of stores and restaurants for you to spend your money!
Its always a great experience everytime. Don't want to live here for sure. But fun to visit.
Excellent Mind blowing place. full of Skyscraper building all around. one can spend whole day time here without being bored.
Night at Time square is awesome.Hotels, food and shopping outlets & other shop all around can be seen.
lightning and shops will cheers you during night and evening time. never sleep city of country USA
many food restaurants are there, people from all around the world can be seen here. New York has its own charm. its on 7th Avenue.
many subways are there for commute. Tourist buses run time to time and can be available on spot or online. NJ Transits are available connecting New Jersey. I loved enjoying coming from Ramsay New jersey to Penn Station New York. Overall amazing place i visited in Sep 2010.
It s definitely an experience but it is so crowded. Neat to visit but it s not my favorite place in the city.
By far one of the most interesting places I've ever been. So much excitement and things going on
Everything is fine, but sometimes we need the restroom, which they don't have.
It is a very famous place to visit a lot of people goes there to she all the video walls Go straight to the hi platform amd see the view in time square in 42 avenue the Broadway theater and all the store you can imagine. There are many people dressed Disney heroes and they 're waiting the funs to get a picture with them, It's very easy to go there with the subway .
Amazing landmark. A place filled with culture and diversity. A must visit
Should you be in NYC and not go to times square, the you weren't really in the city, visit its stores like the Hershey's or m&m's one, marvel at its lights ant night and eat a hot dog from a cart, nothing better to complement the NYC experience.
Time square omg it's just so lively tho it's crowded but still u will like it every bit of time square the feeling is totally different visit n experience it urself
It's Time Square. You've seen it on your TV screens a million times, but it's better in person. It's big, it's busy, it's full of massive screens selling you everything you didn't know you didn't need ; but by golly it's worth seeing. So go see it.
Great for dining and tours. Not too great since the Pandemic just like everywhere else.
One of the best The places You have to see before You die
If in New York you have to go, whatever any review here says so stop wasting time and get down there.
Lights are better in the dark (no brainer) and don't have your picture taken with the people dressed as Mickey or statue of liberty.
Very interesting place, with a special vibe!
A must visit when in New York as one of the most famous attractions in the city.
Super enjoyable! I expected shopping to be too expensive for me, but they have great stores and prices are decent! It's cool to see all the flashing lights and giant billboards and street performers. Like everywhere else in New York, the crowds are insane, but they were still manageable.
