Love the food and the fast service. Wish that the bbq was pulled though

Decent service. Food was warm, quick, and reasonably priced - but just not very good. Who pulls brisket? It looks like cat food. Fries were ok. Beans were sweet so I liked them but nothing interesting so my partner wouldn't eat then. Pulled pork was ok with the right sauce. I feel bad for everyone that thinks this is good BBQ, they're clearly missing out!

Great food, amazing service. The staff is very friendly and you will not wait more than a minute for your food!!! "They done mess around!" Came out from Suffolk and I'm glad I stopped!!

Best BBQ I've ever had. You wouldn't know by looking at it though, in fact one could easily drive by it on the way to the beach. The pulled pork is terrific and the hush puppies are worth 10 times what they're sold for. YUM!

Good food a little small on the portion sizes and you eat on paper plates. Definitely a southern kitchen.

The best burnt ends and fried Chicken I have ever had. I get burnt ends at nearly every BBQ place I have ever been across the country, and this is it. If you stop here, you won't be disappointed.

Got food fast, but it was not very great. Potato salad was alright, fried okra too ( there is not much you can do to make it bad anyways) pulled brisket was strange, dry, lacked any sauce or flavor and as someone mentioned looked like cat food
They had a brisket burnt ends sandwich on the menu, but an older lady at the register said they had only platters with it. Once I pointed out they had it on the menu and I wanted a sandwich not the platter her attitude immediately changed and she was just rude, even though I was nice all the time. It s ok if the menu was outdated and they didn t have a chance to change it, but it s not ok to be rude with customers and not explaining anything.

We love eating here! Food is always hot and delicious, people are friendly and it's a great place to hang out. It's perfect for a quick meal or family dinner. They also do take out which is perfect for those busy days.

Most excellent North Carolina BBQ you will not be disappointed with this place

Great place for barbecue! Their chopped pork is excellent but so is their beef brisket! Good hushpuppies, too! Local owners of this local business! Great place to stop on your way to or from the Outer Banks!

De best!!! Save room for this delectable food not on the beach so you better get it coming in and as you leave. Beef Brisket, old fashioned southern sides like potatoe salad, slaw, sweet potatoe casserole, bannans puddin, sweet tea, hush puppies. Collards, green beans... What we yankees cravin when we cross the Mason Dixon line. ( I know dis cause I once was won) lol...its quality food, southern hospitality and if you have a big group a spacious pavilion outside.

Super nice folks, made you feel welcome and treated you like a VIP! Delicious food!!! Best BBQ I ve ever had! Make the place a must stop on your way to and from the Outer Banks!!!

Great BBQ place!!! We only make it out this way once a year on our pilgrimage to Great Wolf Lodge via the Outer Banks. It's a regular stop.

We try to stop here each time while traveling to and from OBX. Everything is really good. My favorites are the pulled pork, hush puppies, sweat potato casserole, and some sweet tea. All the sauces are great too.
When the weather is nice, they even have tons of outdoor seating.

Great pulled pork with a good variety of sauces. Mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy. The best! And if you happen to stop in when collards are in season they are a must have. So good! Very casual indoor or outdoor seating. They do have other meats than the pulled pork but that is my go to meal.

Great bbq, sides good, but blackberry cobbler was a let down. Would I go again? Absolutely, great food, just no desserts

Great place to stop by on the way to or from the outer banks. Big field to run around in - great covered outdoor seating - delicious BBQ. I had the pulled pork so I can't speak to all that they offer but it hit the spot and tasted fresh.

Absolutely wonderful BBQ! Carolina style sauce is very traditional and not too spicy. If you like real banana pudding you owe it to yourself to try theirs. Tastes like grandma's.

This place is simply awesome! We were headed back to Kentucky from the OBX and I love my North Carolina BBQ! Uh oh... How do we do that with our puppy we brought with us? No problem... This place has a huge outdoor covered pavilion next to the main restaurant building... Like 20 picnic tables big, complete with restrooms. Lots of families eating with us under the pavilion with their pets as well. Food was very good and the service was awesome! The gal running the registers area had about as much personality as anyone could possibly have and then some! Highly recommend this gem!

You can't go wrong coming here at all! Totally awesome restaurant off the highway. Fast and delicious!

Great pulled pork and burnt ends, even though they switched up our meals. Sides we're great. BBQ sauce was "meh".

Delicious BBQ food. Only order take out during covid. They have a nice pavilion to eat at if you need a pit stop to eat on your way to the Outer Banks from Virginia Beach.

Oh I LOVE THIS PLACE! So friendly an EXELLENT SERVICE! BRING MY DOG AND EAT UNDER A NICE COVERED SHELTER WITH Picnic tables, restrooms , sink to wash up, pet poo area.. AT LEAST twice a week!

Really good local BBQ & Beef Brisket. Homemade sauces and stuffed. Love the sweet potato casserole! Reasonable prices.

My husband absolutely loves this place. We will take a Sunday drive just to head there for lunch (45m-1hr ride). So if that tells you anything, it's worth stopping in on your way down or back from the Outer Bans of NC. It can be difficult getting in and out during the peak season travel traffic.

FANTASTIC food!! I've eaten here on our way to, or from, vacation for a few years now. There hasn't been anything I haven't loved! Pulled pork, brisket, pulled chicken, hush puppies, mac and cheese, blackberry cobbler, peach cobbler, strawberry cheesecake, it is all amazing! Sorry, I didn't snap a picture. Maybe next time.

Service not that good, food mediocre - tasted as though all food fried in same grease. Will not go back.

Although it is a long wait to order with the whole limitations due to Covid-19, this place is worth every second. From pulled pork, to beef brisket, to burnt ends... I can't recommend any one thing above another. Great service, great food, and always worth the wait!

Everything was good. We got a family pack for 4 to 8 people and my wife and ate most of it ourselves.

Delicious! Great place to stop when visiting the Outer Banks. There is an outside pavilion area to eat at where pets are welcome. I tried the brisket burnt ends platter, and the brisket was tender and delicious.

Amazing, I really couldn't ask for more. Great food, and nice outdoor area to stop and enjoy a meal.

Everything I've ever had here has been delicious! I especially love the brisket sandwich with french fries. I would highly recommend Currituck BBQ to anyone.

My husband took me here on a trip into NC. He was eager to show it to me, and I gave it 4 stars because his meal was great. He got the pulled pork sandwich with sides, while I got the pulled beef brisket. My green beans were far too peppery and my sandwich lacked real flavor to the meat. None of the yummy flavor I have come to expect with beef brisket. The only redeeming quality with my meal was my sweet potato casserole. That was delicious. Though, again, my husband's meal was great. His meal was well seasoned and his Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy.

Wow. I had a great meal here, not the best one in my life, but still a great one.
