I hove been in here twice. I had neck spine surgery C3/C4, with spinal cord damage, stayed 11 days in ICU, and a follow-up stay of 4 days for analysis after some falls.
These people were wonderful, courtious, attentive, and always available.
I was so thankful I sent them real Brooklyn pizza from Toci's Brooklyn Pizza the afternoon I was released.
I have been in Del Webb Hospital on 2 occasions and their ER is great. Their basic coverage in the ward is a bit stretched at night, but is still quite good.

This place was great a yr ago, today they suck. Brought my girlfriend in with breathing problems and we sat in the E.R. for over 2 hrs. Then knowing she had bronchitis complications we sat in the room for a good 30 min before anyone came to check on us. No breathing treatments or anything.
Way to go "Banner" the leader in health care...HA!

I give it a star and the truth is that they do not deserve any, they referred me to that hospital since supposedly the gynecology experts were there and they did not even examine me, a doctor told me that I had a threatened abortion that I could go home that everything others is fine, I almost died of internal bleeding, they did not want to treat me because I did not have health insurance. But the Bill cannot be missed just for occupying a room and hearing what they thought, lack of professional ethics, they only think about money and the human being who dies

During an emergency visit, the nurses sat there talking about all their personal issues, called a moving company to complain about they service they received and sat there chit chatting for hours. Left me in a room without a working call button and wouldn t respond when I hollered out for assistance. Weird that I could hear them jabbering but they couldn t hear me asking for assistance. The doctor was good as well as the entry staff but I will never go there in an emergency again.

My husband was admitted on Wednesday for a podiatry issue. The Er staff asked if he wanted pain medication and he said no to any narcotics. My husband told the nurse he does not ever use narcoticx. A while later she came in with medication I asked her what it was and she told me 2 of the name brand pills and a generic for one and slipped a pain pill(oxycodin) in the cup and when asked exactly what was given, she had to look in garbage to check what it was, that's when we knew she gave him a medicine he didn't want, a narcotic. He then was being told he had to take insulin which doesn't work on him and they told him he couldn't get prescriptions for victoza if he didn't take insulin. He requested to see a doctor it was denied. They gave him stuff for his wound including a shoe which when he said they were not caring for him as he waited for tests they never did told him he couldn't take his wound stuff or shoe with him and they said then just leave. This hospital gave him stool softener he didn't need and vitamin c which he never asked for and didn't need so now he has wounds open and nothing to put on them and the nurse on duty on the 4th floor Pam, was rude and didn't have any concerns for him at all. I will never go to another Banner. If they charge him for the things he was not allowed to take, the insurance company will be informed. We may have to call a lawyer for all this. His patient rights were violated numerous times.

Brought my wife in with severe lower back pain going around to her abdomen where her gall bladder used to be. She's had trouble urinating and is obviously stressed out. We usually don't come here but it was closer to home. She has Fibromyalgia as well as other health factors (We always bring a list so the staff knows what her history is as well as meds list).
So, she is given fentanyl for her pain as morphine does not work for her. CT staff was the worst. Rude, disrespectful and did not even attempt to help her move back and forth. ( Kurt, u need an attitude adjustment). Only shows a kidney stone in her left kidney...all her pain is on the right. So, tests don't show anything yet she's obviously still having problems.
We got her admitted for pain management and, according to the hospitality, more tests, a flu test for sure and get her pain managed and get some rest. 8 hours later she calls and tells me she's being discharged.
She never recieved any more pain medication, no tests whatsoever. The nurse says he sees nothing in her orders and tells me she got pain meds in the ER...8 hours ago!!!
Sitting here waiting for an explanation from the doctor for now over an hour as I wasn't here to see her before.
One thing for sure. NEVER bringing anyone here again. Level of care is pathetic.

My nephew went in Friday and right when he got there they were soo great and nice where we got no answers at 2 other hospitals including Childrens hospital they did what the other ones lacked to do.He has been having seizures and it was very mild a seizure 1 every couple to a few weeks and these last couple he was having them every hour it range from 7-13 seizures a day and we would go to er n got no answers childrens never kept him they sent him home did nothing.Banner hes been there only since fri hes still there and they have done so much Dr's,nurse's,pca's have been so attentive to his care I cant explain how grateful we are and wish we would have came here sooner but thank you guys and for the great team you have on board!!!

Just had a baby the other day . Nurses and doctor were great . However social workers extremely disrespectful and rude . Not to mention inconsiderate. Oh and if your a father expect to be treated less the whole entire time your in this hospital. They make it seem like your a second class citizen. And this being the birth of my first born daughter it was terrible experience being treated the way I have been .

Banner is one of the best hospital administration in the country. This particular facility has gotten better in terms of care, than when they were before the change over. One of the key components is this facility deals with a multitude of difficulties. This includes mental health and dependency. The registration specialist and triage nurse were very kind.

Fixing my post had a revisit and realized why I don't come here. This place is going down hill. I had a couple family members that worked for this hospital and another banner facility and have heard some bad stories just a horrible facility, the staff can't do their jobs, disrespectful, unprofessional all around.

Had to take my wife to the ER here. It s like your typical ER. There was a moderate wait time. The staff here do the best they can. I think they might need to expand it and add some more staff to compensate with demand. I haven t had a bad experience yet with any Banner facility. We are waiting on a Dr. to see my wife. I ll post more if there are any issues.

To me great service .

Unbelievable! Worst health care experience of my l...

Unbelievable! Worst health care experience of my life. (I am not the type to write reviews, but I am furious) My daughter was having serious internal pain. We arrived in the ER at 1:30 in the morning. We were finally admitted to the ER at 4. Then we were told we had to wait for for the doctor to see three other patients. We could hear the nurses and doctors communicating amongst themselves right beyond our waiting room. The level of incompetence was astonishing. (I have seen third world health care clinics opererate with more efficiency and professionalism). We decided to leave after waiting all that time to go to another hospital. My daughter became extremely uncomfortable after hearing the Doctors talking amongst themselves.

One of my children was born at Thunderbird Hospital. I cannot believe how it has gone downhill. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS HOSPITAL! Drive to anyplace but here....

I arrived at the hospital with an inflammation on my leg. The emergency doctor diagnosed the phlebitis, but was cautious enough to order an ultra sound where they found 2 DVTs. They were concerned that I could have a Pulmonary Embolism though I didn't show symptoms at first. As they were admitting me the chest pains started and they ordered the CT scan and discovered the PE. The doctors were fabulous, thorough, compassionate and kind. Follow up was terrific too. Saved my life for sure.

Great Doctors! I would highly recommend Dr.Hillary Charles! She is efficient, funny, always on time, very informative and cares about the mothers needs regarding all stages of pregnancy! The Hospital is right next door to her office and they are wonderful as well.

Too many predatory doctors walk in, look at your chart, ask how you are and send a bill months later. There's no reason most patients need all this "attention." I'm talking to you Dr. Ehtisham and others. This is something the hospital needs to control better.

Okay for one if you have chronic pain and your normal pain medications aren't working or you can't keep them down do not go here or you will be treated like a drug seeker. I went in today because my pcp thought I was possibly having a heart attack then they came in saying that they weren't
going to give me pain meds which I didn't even suggest and that I was just a drug seeker. I ended up ripping my iv out and walked out. Do not go here if you value you life and dignity

I was recently at banner thunderbird to have a stent removed. I have a rare condition that I cant control. The doctors and nurses were horrible to me. Once they decided I was faking it which I wasn't, I despise hospitals. But at banner Thunderbird it was even worse. The nuses were laughing at me and the doctors were undignified. They were making assumptions instead of treating of with dignity and respect. When they dont understand your condition then they label you a nut case and then put you on the back burner as if you weren't somebody worth caring for. So, in summation don't go to any banner facility if you have rare condition. They will do what they did to me and treat you like your yesterday's gabage.

I hope this helps some so, they don't end up getting treated like me. I wouldn't wish that on my wordst enemy.

This hospital sucks. I took my 5 month old son there to be seen because he was having breathing problems. They took forever to get us in a room and then after that they came in and sucked his nose out. They didn't say anything to us about what they were doing. They kept us in the room for 2 hours and then discharged us to go home. We were there for 4 hours all together. I ended up having to take him to a different hospital and they admitted him.

This hospital treated my husband very poorly. He went here with stomach pains, nausea, and has type 2 diabetes. They didn t find anything wrong with him .. so sent him home, although he asked them to PLEASE do his blood work and check triglycerides. (He has a history of pancreatitis and high triglycerides). They said they re not equipped to check them??? What hospital can t check triglycerides? So he went to a different hospital a couple of months later and now he s in ICU and his triglycerides are over 4000. Avoid this ER at all costs. (Edit to add: he didn t have insurance at the time.. not sure if that has anything to do with them not wanting to help.)

All the staff in the nursing department in both antepartum and the NICU are absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly caring and personable. We never felt as if we were patients but more as friends and family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my wife and babies. I would highly recommend this hospital. To all the staff in the NICU, Antepartum and recovery we greatly appreciate you all of you! We will be sure to bring the twins by when they get older.

This facility is extremely confusing to maneuver and requires locating non-existent hospital staff to help guide you to your destination. Clear signage would be beneficial. From the time my family member was discharged it took approx. 90 min. to be released, which meant waiting no longer for the non-existent wheelchair attendant to show. Fortunately we were able to walk out on our own and the staff seemed surprised. Admitting staff seem siloed from nursing staff and important patient information must be repeated from one department to another. Excellent place to introduce LEAN business practices for the benefit of the hospital and the patients.

I gave two stars because the nurse that helped me throughout my labor and the doctor were amazing everything else was horrific. I came in having contractions it was my fourth child so I ve definitely had my cervix checked many of times. She checked me so roughly that I was crying and 10 minutes later pouring blood like I Peed myself. She told me that was normal which I ve never heard. I ve heard spotting is normal not pouring blood like you were peeing. Then after I had the baby they told me do not give the baby more than 30 mL every 2 to 3 hours after we get discharged I take the baby to his pediatrician who told me it should be 45 to 60. I feel like they treat people like in in and out service and some other nurses really don t know what they re talking about. I will never come to this hospital for anything again.

Went to the hospital after a car accident told everybody I was okay and told them not to do a scan they did everything I asked them not to without my permission and charged me for it $10,000 if I could give these evil people who ruined my Financial life anything it would be a ticket to hell

All the nurses and techs are great. Ped docs are awesome. However i brought my boyfriend in today because he was in a ton of pain. PA came in and was pretty rude, trying to make us feel stupid for coming in over a pulled muscle. We said we wanted to make sure it wasnt serious and PA scoffed "like what?" Idk, do we have x-ray vision or something? My boyfriend has a high pain tolerance so him being in pain was scary for us. This hospital is usually great but depends what doc u get stuck with.

I'm the legal guardian for a younger brother. On Friday 11/16, he was taken to Banner Thunderbird who diagnosed him with pneumonia and said that this explained why he was also very weak. The next day he was taken to another hospital in extreme distress. As of today he is on a ventilator and receiving dialysis. Banner missed the fact that he had developed Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Here today and the ER Doctor is awful. He is very unatentive and seems to not care about anything. We tried to ask him follow up questions and just brushed us off. I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone

They take great care of kids. The ONLY problem in ...

They take great care of kids. The ONLY problem in the peds unit... They wake up these sick kids to do vitals, shots, and other things. If the kid hasnt slept well, transferred from another hosptial, been up for more than 20+ hrs, or 'if rest is best' then let kids sleep.

Some kids have a hard time getting to sleep, then you come in to do stuff, that can wait, or that they dont need to be woken up for. A head scan can take a temp without waking a kid.

Most of the nurses get this, but when I ask one of you nurses if it can wait, I'm politely asking to wait. I guess next time instead I'll just say "Piss off til they are awake.' Maybe then you'll get the hint.

So the er doctor s and nurses on the pediatric side are pleasant, no issues there. However parking is crazy, wow parking is the last thing you should have to be concerned about when you go to the er. I have a large pickup, I fit on the first floor of the garage but that was full. The oversized parking was also full so now where the heck do I park?! It took precious time away from the er just to find a damn spot to park. Also the signs leading you to the er are poorly placed. The billing gal that comes in to go over the insurance is not friendly at all, acts like she is in collections. I refused to pay my copay until I get the bill, at which time I will most likely pay in full, I was treated as a low life from her for that decision. There is a reason I made that decision, I am not making that decision to be an ass.

I will be giving an updated rating after my labor and delivery experience, but i was falling down and having symptoms and my ob office told me to go to the hospital. A very rude nurse named Jen "helped" us the entire time. She also was heard saying "the reasons people come in are so ridiculous". Well excuse me, Im not trying to interrupt your social hour here, but im having pains and my ob told me to come in sooo have a little respect. Doesnt matter why the woman came in. Its maternity, like do your job or get a new one. I know and have spoken to many of the other nurses here and they are wonderful! This review is purely about Jen for being a b**** and not caring. My baby is my number one responsibility and if my ob is saying its bad enough keep your mouth shut and do your job.

The Maternity and Labor unit are simply amazing! Delivering our baby girl there was perfect, they helped us through everything. Would highly reccomend this hospital to bring your little joy into this world.

Admitted for a week with no clean answers and still feeling horrible. Went to a follow up dr. Which tried to get records THERE WERE NONE!!!! Back to the square 1 this place is a insurance squeezing place!!! Your health is more important go to dignity health!!!!!

I was hesitant to be transferred here from Dignity...

I was hesitant to be transferred here from Dignity Health, but ultimately was due to location. I had Cellulitis & my face was swollen 5x normal size, high fever for 2 days before I even went in. They did not culture face upon arrival, which would have given a specific cause. Any time I asked about test results, nobody would give me an answer. The two facial surgeons that came over said they did not believe my tooth has anything to do with infection. My swelling has gone down, but I still have 2 big masses that are extremely painful. The nurses were great. The aides were wonderful. This is the first time in my life that I have ever been admitted to a hospital for an illness, & I have not seen an emergency room in I don't know how long either. All of my doctors are aware of one another & were notified by me that I was in the hospital. Also upon arrival, I provided all medications that I am currently taking. ****** I am going to report Dr Eskandar, Ali Mohamed to the hospital & to my insurance. He was arrogant & rude the minute he came in. He said, are you ready to go its your tooth. If you can eat, drink, & walk you can go. They never got me up to walk around the pod like the surgeon said to do, I was and still am having SOB, which he never checked. He also didnt send me home with any steroids & my face is still swollen. Anyway, my dad said dont let them release you until you check on your WBC, which mine are still high. The nurse went to go tell this Dr Mohamed, & behind my closed door I can hear him saying for the world to hear that I wanted to stay to get pain medication and was making deragatory comments about me. This Dr. Needs to check the PDMP & he would most certainly see that I AM NOT a drug seeker, a doctor shopper, or anything else. I have SEVERE facial pain. That was unprofessional at the very least, & a HIPAA violation at most. We had already decided that I didnt need an rx to go home. I have to be almost dying before I go to urgent care, hospital, etc...If I have to ever go back, I am bringing my own medications in my purse, which I will take as prescribed and not let them know if I need anything for pain. I also had not been up to walk around in the 4 days I was there & he asked if I was getting shots in my stomach to prevent blood clots. I was not, he never got back to me, and I am still having SOB. By the way, Dr V was great, the infectious disease doc was great, but this Dr Ali Mohamad was making fun of me for all to hear. Also, my iv was leaking, hurting, and I had to keep disconnecting it myself to get to the bathroom. I was told it was hospital policy to change iv within 24 hrs when patient is brought in from another facility, which I was. It was never changed.

My son came into emergency n under went 6 1/2 hours major surgery. Everything went well until we found a guard by his door after they ran a background check on my son n found out he was a registered offender. Their reason is so my son who is in major pain will not do something or wonder out in the halls! My son is there to recover from a traumatic injury, but now he is treated like a criminal? He is not a threat to anyone after 11years of dealing with ignorant people who nothing of his level of having to register. Why dont they so a search on those that come into the hospital and run background checks that can do more damage. This is not a place to get better or be treated with respect to recover. We are from not this area but we will never want to get help from this facility even if I was on my dying bed!

My daughter is 6 months pregnant and had gall bladder removed last week. Let her wait too long before surgery. Then 2 days later she developed severe pain in kidney area and fever and went back toER. They gave her antibiotics and did mre etc. Then they put her in maternity room and just left her. Every dr. Is passing the buck. She has been in there over a day with no more antibiotics. They are neglecting her. The hospitalis said ahe deferred to a surgeon who wouldnt see her until this morning. He told me her kidneys werent his area of expertise. Hello you idiots get someone in there who is. I am so angry at this hospitals neglect. No one should ever ho there. They have idea what they are doing. The antibiotic that was givrn helped but everyone refuses to give her any more antibiotics and dont even know about the one given in the ER. This is crazy, negligent and plain irresponsible.

Banner T-bird tried to keep our son admitted for longer than necessary when they weren't even trying to correct the problem. The bills afterward are NOT reflective of a non-profit hospital. Banner T-bird will try to keep you there as long as possible to get more money from you (oh, and that is with using insurance).

Everytime I have had to visit this hospital I have had a great experience. They are kind and helpful and very thorough. After going to a local urgent care and getting nothing but pain reliever and minor bp medication, I took my dad in to T bird HH. They immediately took us in and got him the care needed in a quick and efficient matter. I felt truly grateful to be working with this team; thanks to their quick response my dad is still around.

The ER doctors failed to properly diagnose my cousin with a fractured skull and said draining his hematoma wasn t necessary. Turns out his skull IS fractured, there s been bleeding in the brain and the hematoma DOES need to be drained.

How do these doctors go to school for so long to mess up so horribly?

The ER and staff in this hospital are really slow and very rude I brought my sister here at 9pm it is 12:30 and we are still sitting here they have called a lot of other people back that haven't even been here an hour this is ridiculous I feel like we are being treated differently and I will never come back or bring my sister here again this use to be a good hospital but now I have a change of heart I don't recommend people to come here at all no one really cares about your emergency here I rate u one star but to be honest u don't even deserve that I will be filing a very serious complaint

After having went in and having a terrible experience with Paradise Valley hospital, I made a trip to Banner Thunderbird, where I am now. Every person has been friendly, and very thorough, also assuring that I am comfortable. Every medical personell here is so amazing, this hospital is wonderful. Id give it 10 stars, if possible.

Great experience! The staff was caring and thorough! Very attentive and patient (no pun intended). The nurse Krista took amazing care of my wife! Dr. Johnson was very informative and straight to the point. Definitely recommend here over Honor Health.

I delivered my son here and it was the best experience I could have asked for! Everyone went above and beyond providing me with the best care. It was my first baby and they were with me each step of the way. There was no pressure from any of the staff when I asked for explanations of literally everything! When I finally decided I needed an epidural, they staff immediately got things rolling and I was numb within less than an hour from when I asked. I was in labor for a very long time and I remember getting nervous when the shifts would change thinking that I was losing a wonderful nurse and I was terrified thinking that the replacement might be unhappy or rude, which is something I've experienced at other hospitals. However, each nurse at Banner Thunderbird was somehow better than the last and I want to thank and hug every single one of you!

Yesterday, my hundand and I came in to Banner Thunderbird. From what I thought I just had bad seizure the night before.

When we got here all staff and volunteers were super amazing and went above and behind for me. One nurse on the 3rd floor named Alex is fantastic.

Yesterday, I just kept asking her about the catholic chruch coming by and saying a pray for my family and I.

As she was looking for someone from the catholic church. She went down to the gift shop and got me a big eyed stuffed animal and key chag with a cross on it.

About an hour later the sister from the church came and said a pray with us.

It was so sweet. I love it. Well i have to go, my doctor is going to do my surgery now.

Come to find out it just wasn't a seizure. I have a brian tumor.

Was transferred here when my water broke at 25 weeks and spent the next two months in antepartum. Every staff member I encountered was kind and caring. The doctors took their time to explain everything in detail. The nurses went above and beyond to help me relax. They would arrange scrapbooking for me, take me on wheel chair rides during their breaks because my family lived far away and I was not able to leave my room without supervision. Even the cleaning staff was very friendly and remembered long term patients.

I experienced this same level of care when my son was born and we transferred to the NICU department. Top notch team of doctors and nurses.

The one and only thing we did not care for was when we arrived a woman from their financial department came into our room and tried to get a deposit. Almost insisted on it. We ve never had this happen at any hospital or doctors office. We have insurance and then get billed for our share so we did not understand why she was so insistent, especially when we had just arrived and were so scared about losing our baby. A bit tacky. Once my husband put his foot down and told her to bill the insurance then us and no other way they didn t send anyone else.

Other than that, our experience was amazing all the way through. I m shocked to see this hospital not have a higher rating.

Banner Thunderbird has a great maternity and fetal...

Banner Thunderbird has a great maternity and fetal care wing. I have had two babies here, the last one being September 8th, 2016. The delivery rooms are big, and the post partum rooms are big enough and private, so no sharing with other moms and their newborns. The rooms are the most important for me. I had 5 different sets of nurses and nursing assistants because I stayed for 2 and a half days, and most of them were really helpful. They always came in to make sure I was eating and ordering my food and getting up to use the bathroom. They would go out of their way to get me food after hours also from the fridge. One nurse always brought me crackers with my meds because she didn't want me to get sick. I didn't even ask for them, she just always brought them.
My last nurse and nursing assistant were weird though, and I was not a fan. They weren't really helpful like the others, and they stopped coming to check on me. They only came when I called them for my medication. And most of the time they came 20 minutes after I called them.
The food is awesome though, and I miss having room service now that I'm home.
Overall I would come back to banner if I had another baby.

This is the worst experience I've had in an emerge...

This is the worst experience I've had in an emergency clinic. We are here for dizzy spells and blacking out, but for some reason we're waiting for a chest x-ray because 'everyone has the flu'. We have been pulled out of and put back into the waiting room 4 times now. Once for vitals, again for an EKG, again for that chest x-ray, and once more for a CAT scan. We are without a room no one sends to be able to follow a patient around the clinic. We were called for the CAT scan during the chest x-ray, for example. There is another patient in this waiting room waiting for a blood transfusion and they have drawn blood on her twice and can't figure out why she is here.
It has been four hours now for a patient who is dehydrated and having dizzy spells to see a physician who can give us any answers and we are still waiting. This should be embarrassing for the medical community.

I had a good experience w my first birth here but w my second it was terrible. Do not come here!! In the 20+ years of coming to this facility, I have never been so unhappy with their service. The staff doesn't listen to the patients. The staff in the waiting area could really benefit from a course a interpersonal communication. I will most likely never come here again.

Joke of a emergency room and they will be receiving plenty of poor practice complaints in the near future. Buy yourself a first aid kit and take your chances elsewhere before bleeding out in the ER.

Went in with bleeding at 36 weeks pregnant. Very scared expecting the worse. Staff at banner was AMAZING !! they made me feel at ease and explained every single thing that was happening. They answered all my questions and even went out of there way to make sure i was ok. I ended up having a rupture placenta and a ripped cervix so i had an emergency c-section. The experience was very scary but the hospital staff made everything so much easier. ALL! nurses and nursing assistance were WONDERFUL. Specially night staff. Room were good size, good food, nothing bad to say about my 5 day stay. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.

I went to the emergency department this evening for severe knee pain. It was busy as expected. But staff was extremely rude. I was put in a room, not one person acknowledged me. Did not even pop there head in to say hi, someone will be with you later. I was already upset by this. I signed myself out. I understand there are priorities but all your nurses were just sitting at the desk gossiping and talking about nonsense things. I get it they are busy but if you have time to gossip and talk about people, you clearly have time to pop in to acknowledge someone. I use to be so pleased with this hospital. But now I will commute and use this as my last resort.

My boyfriend recently had an ED visit resulting in a 2 night hospital stay here. We were sent directly from an urgent care. Starting with the positive - Our ED wait time was minimal. This was likely due to the nature of our emergency, but nevertheless he was taken back for vitals and back to a room promptly. Our ED doctor and nurse were pleasant and began patient education as soon as the diagnosis was made. Our first 2 nurses, our nurse aides, and the pharmacist we encountered were wonderful and very helpful. They took great care of him and treated him like a human. They kept us informed and answered all our questions; I had no problems up to this point. However, the first doctor we were supposed to see was in our room for less than 30 sec. I was absolutely unimpressed with this doctor, as he did no review of systems, systems review, subjective history, etc. and didn't make it to our room until 1:20 am (5 hours after admission). Looking forward to seeing his bill. The second doctor we had, as well as our discharge nurse made me feel like an absolute lunatic for trying to make sure we left the hospital with the prescriptions we would need until we could get him into a PCP. We were prescribed only one of the two medications he was trained on how to take upon discharge. I had to speak to several people and really push to get a script for his 2nd medication. He also was not prescribed the needles he would need to inject said medication. I'll also note that none of his medications are for pain. The only pain medication he asked for was a Tylenol for a headache, which took telling 3 different people, and approximately 6 hours to get the order for. The amount of advocating I had to do just to get our doctors to follow through with their own stated plan of care is ridiculous, in my opinion. I was not asking the doctor to do anything out of her scope of practice, or even outside of her own plan of care. If I hadn't insisted on getting the proper scripts, we would have been back in the hospital within 24 hours. I will not be recommending this hospital to any of my friends, family, or patients and hopefully will never be back.
