Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit Reviews

Terrible service. Now they forget to serve you but just remind to wear muzzle all the time you are inside. MKe you use sanitizer, but don't hesitate to take cash without gloves.

Loved this place, especially the friendly, warm and welcoming staff. The breakfast options are unreal! Used the gym everyday, a little too dark. Rooftop bar was amazing!

Spacious apartment style room. All amenities for cooking including dishwasher. Great roof top view. Soft comfortable bed, full size bathtub and separate shower. Great value and location.

Location,cleanliness, facilites,convenience,....everything was so good for me. It located nearby Tonglor Station.

Great hotel we would come back to any time. The breakfast is particularly amazing, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. It's also close to the BTS and in walking distance to Sukhumvit 55 which has a few shops and massage places.

A Wonderful place! Roof swimming pool and very nice roof bar with amazing view! Royal breakfast and very nice rooms. The price is very good especially if compared with the european ones. Only the elevators were tricky and didn't work properly with the room key (and this was common for a lot of guests)

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Resto buffet was great. Room was nice and clean. Service and food at function room was really remarkable.

Although it is a little away from the center of town, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you won't be at a loss.

Loved the place. Nice view from Octave rooftop. Also everyone from lounge is very polite and nice. Rooms were clean and neat. In my opinion, lounge serving was little slow. Just an ice-cream took more than 20mins. Apart from this no issues at all!

The staff was very kind and not very good at English, but spoke slowly.

While the view is incredible, I was unable to get a seat and the drinks are extremely expensive. Not terrible but I had higher expectations.

Property is well located and not brand new, but quite well maintained. Quite a different layout of the room though-see image.

They have an decent restaurant downstairs and bar on the 45th floor and another roof top one too. View is amazing-see pic

In the restaurant on the ground floor, the buffet choice is quite inviting.

Chef Sunil there offered me excellent freshly made Indian tea and that was simply one of the best I had at any such property. Amazingly couteous and understanding. Thumbs up to Chef Sunil and associates there.

First disappointment when arrived at the hotel, checking in was WAYYYYYYY too slow and making the front desk to have a long queue, waited approximately 45 mins until my turn for the check in. The room was decently decorated and acceptable with a big bathtub. Breakfast was another disaster as well, as usual they were making everyone to queue up because there were not enough table to accommodate every customers. Waited another 30 mins only managed to get a small table which only able to fit 2 plates, and which they said to move me to a better bigger table once it is available, in the end they never move me to a bigger normal table and left me with a super small table to eat while I saw there were a lot of tables available already. Greatly disappointed with the management here for not solving all these kind of issues, from checking in to a morning breakfast. Will not be spending my time in this hotel, period.

Location very near to the train station. rooms are big clean and well maintained nice view from room stop is very Cooperative and helpful. restaurant is so big and many varieties of food is available in there. parking available.

It is conveniently located along Sukhumvit Road, a few minutes' walk from Thonglor Station. As there are many Japanese people living there, there are several taverns in front of you.
There is a rooftop bar on floors 48 and 49, but it is more open than other rooftops in Bangkok. It's not just in the center, so I think it's a little lonely at night ...
The design of the room was modern, and the corner room I stayed with had a large bathroom with a view outside.
The service and the breakfast were also comfortable. It's a little off the center, but I think it's a good option for those with convenient locations.

Came here to warn about the laundry service and our experience in the hotel lobby restaurant.

Laundry is not offered by weight. It is by item, averaging about 160 baht per item of clothing. 10 small tshirts would cost you 1,800 baht or $72 CDN dollars! When I identified this to the staff as outrageous, they said they agreed, but stood by the pricing.

The restaurant took one hour to deliver our meal and tasted mediocre.

Come often, easy to travel, easy to find, the car is stuck as usual, near Thonglor, Ekamai

Really friendly service, the rooms are nice and bright. There is a counter at the lobby to help with things that u need to do. The lady at the counter is super helpful, I got all my advise there booked all the messages too. Only 4 starts due to some faults in the room. My TV controller was spoilt and the blinds cannot go up. Other that that a good place to stay

Good place of stay. Rooms are nicely done. Staff very helpful. Had a bad Bangkok incident (twice) but at both times the staff went out of the way to help.
The breakfast buffet was amazing!

Getting to the hotel was a brutal experience. I originally told the Cab Driver to drop us off at 2 Sukhumvit and when he did, the bellhop and the cab driver exchanged words and question if we were in fact at the correct hotel. (I believe that they were basing that I did not fit the Marriott customer profile).

Now, questioning myself if I was in fact at the correct hotel, I took the advice of the bellhop to go to the "new Marriott hotel" downtown. There he said was my location.

At the new Marriott hotel, we proceeded to check in, upon checking in the Manager notified us that we were at the wrong Marriott, and the first location we went was indeed correct.

After spending about 2 hours driving in Thailand traffic, we finally made it back to the original location where we were suppose to be at.

Upon notifying hotel management this, they supposedly "reviewed' CCTV footage, and did not believe our complaints.

Furthermore, I thought that the Operations Director Orhun Denizoglu was very rude to me. I believed that he did not take me seriously being that I look rather young (28) and I was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt in addition to my swim trunks having arrived to Bangkok from the Phi Phi islands.

Overall, I just wanted to be reimbursed for the $30 or 1000 baht I spent on getting to the Marriott due to their negligence in pointing to the right direction.

I suggest if Marriott plans on having multiple locations in Bangkok that they provide a complimentary shuttle service for their customers to help get them from the Airport to the right Marriott hotel, being that the majority of the customer base would be foreign to Bangkok and would have difficulty communicating to the Cab drivers.

Food was GREAT, room was Spacious and comfy, and the service was very nice.

The top floor bar is great for watching the night scene.

Excellent food and drink at the 57th Street restaurant...

Super nice roof top bar with 360 degree view over Bangkok. Cocktails are also very good and reasonably priced. Tip two three days before reserve so you get safely in the first row for sunset

Breakfast is delicious inside. There are many types of fresh juices. Not only fruits but also vegetables. The round bathtub in each room is unique!

Lovely staff, everyone is very friendly and they love children. The breakfast is great, wide food and beverage choice. Children cutlery available. The rooms are spacious and offer every amenity needed. Children s playroom. Nice gym, sauna within men s and women s changing room. Great experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in Sukhumvit, I think it is very easy to spend at this ranked hotel. About two minutes on foot to the station. I thought the breakfast was so so. There were many varieties, but the taste was not something cool.

A wonderful cozy place for dinner.. staff was excellent and very tolerant of my failure to speak any Thai. Meal was excellent in all respects. I'll be back

Very good hotel, good location with S-Bahn connection nearby. The staff is very friendly and personable. Excellent breakfast. Those who are free of heights can visit the rooftop bar Octave on the 48th floor. The prices are moderate for 5 stars.

57th Street Restaurant is good. Foods taste great. The best of this restaurant is its manager, Khun Nu. He has the best service mindset and really takes great care of customers.

Nice hotel. Near BTS between Thonglor and Ekkamai where you can find a lot of restaurants and bars.

Best business hotel in bkk in my opinion. Lovely lobby bar, lovely restaurants and the location cannot be beat. Their breakfast spread is also very comprehensive. The hotel has been around for awhile, but i think they have done an exceptional job in up-keeping.

Didn t even stay here but the staff was helpful in helping us get a taxi. SUPER HELPFUL!

Here roof bar is awsome! Nice view. But poor foods. Just drink beer and enjoy view!!

One of the best possible locations in the city - a walking distance to great restaurants in Thong Lo (Sukhumvit Soi 55) and right next to the subway station. To best explore Bangkok, it is wise to stay on the Sukhumvit subway line, visit the Mall Mile, eat out, people watch where they congregate...

Marriott has all the amenities you'd expect from the 5 star hotel and a great gym with excellent equipment. Get it if you can.
